This company was absolutely horrible to work with! They were contracted through my home warranty April 29. Kiley came out and helped himself to our backyard, told us some stuff was broke and needed to be ordered and they would contact us when it came in. I had to call them the end of the next week because he never came back. When I called, the lady asked "oh, its not fixed?" Kiley had connected wires with a plastic wire nut in our HEATER and said it was fixed which MELTED that night! He hadn't even ordered the parts because he called that "fixed." I then had to wait an additional 1-2 weeks and call again. They scheduled me the following week, helped himself to the back again and when I went out he made a half *** excuse that "they gave me the wrong part" and left. I had to chase this company down for weeks! They then sent "Greg" out to look and he absolutely belittled and disrespected me. I asked him if it was broke, could he report that to the home warranty company? Instead, he called the home warranty company 6+ weeks later (June 15) and told them no issues and they didn't wish to work on it any more. They didn't even have the decency to advise me they closed my ticket. I had to call the home warranty company 3 days later when they would not longer answer my calls. When the next company came out, they told me the parts they had "replaced" were old and rusty. Either AquaTime didn't actually replace or replaced with used parts which did not fix the problem. Both technicians we worked with were absolute rude idiots! DO NOT HIRE THEM!

Beware!!! Do not accept them for your Home Warranty Inspections. Aqua Time Pools are contractors for First American Home Warranty company who we had our most expensive coverage warranty with. We bought the best policy they offered. We had issues with our pool components not working and this company sent Mr. Greg (20 year experienced tech by his own declaration) out to inspect my pool on behalf of the warranty company. He did not open any panels up to look behind it and under 7 minuets diagnosed a display panel is needed. It turns out that they are not suppose to announce this info on the spot and turn their report in to the warranty company that pays them for going out to inspect. According to them I need a display board that under the contract is not covered because it is under water management system. Well funny thing is that all pool "circuit boards" are covered unless the tech says it is part of a system that will make it not covered. It was amazing that the tech chose exactly that term that voids this top of the line warranty contract from covering the work. Called the warranty company and asked about the discrepancy and they asked me to call Aqua Time and have them word it so the phrase circuit board is included in their estimate. After many tries to achieve this with Mrs. Jamie (answers the phones when you call) I understood that it will not happen. But she did send me a quote of over $700 to fix it with them paying out of pocket. By the way she also sent me an incomplete quote as it did not include a heater sensor that I apparently also need according to their tech. I asked Mr. Greg, the tech to send me a list of their recommended parts and part numbers with price brake down so I know the complete repair....that has nor happened. I did get a call from the owner Mr. Kiley S. who said he called because Mrs. Jamie was upset that I told her I was going to place an accurate review for them and he wanted o hear my side. Well less than 30 seconds into our call that was interrupted shortly, Mr. Kiley cut me off very rudely and TOLD me that IT WAS NOT COVERED and I had less than a minuet to talk or he is done. Wow that went from awkward to rude in a snap. Well I thanked him, wished him a blessed day and told him I did not want to take another minuet of his time. Well it is obvious that if you are a business you would love to get paid though a warranty company for a repair. However they have the warranty company as their bosses and if they produce too many big ticket quotes for them to pay, they must fall out of favor or get lower ratings. I am assuming this last part but can not understand why they would fight tooth and nail on behalf of a warranty company that allows CIRCUIT BOARDS to be replaced. They have lost my trust, their credibility, and earned this review 100%. I hope this helps others be aware of this situation if you are in Katy & Cypress area in Texas.

Terrible. Her pool was flooded due to hurricane Harvey. The moment her road was passiable, aquatime came out and told her to schedule a time for them to come out and take care the flooded pool (it was brown from the flood). She scheduled a time and also asked if she could go ahead and put chemicals in to at least clear the water, they said no. Well, they didn't show for the scheduled appointment and kept putting her off and eventually told her they weren't going to come and weren't going to clean we pool!!! Unprofessional and very lousy of them to do to a recently widowed women that is 68 years old! SHAME ON THEM!!!!

The service went about as poorly as any service could go. First, they came out on the WRONG day and installed the WRONG tile in our pool. Not to mention they dumped chemicals in our yard and flower bed killing our grass. They apologized for their mistake via email and offered to take the price down for the remaining balance. Once we agreed upon that term via email, they called the next day and said that was a mistake and if we didn't pay, they would call their lawyer. Nice! In all fairness they did offer to redo the tile and have us pay the full price (after our pool was refilled with water) but I didn't trust them to do a good job replacing the tiles again and cringed at the thought of them doing more damage to our lawn and flower bed. Save your self a huge headache and look elsewhere. This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had.

This company came out in August of 2013 and repaired a leak. It appeared to be fixed. Later I contacted them about replacing a rusted, corroded blower that is for my spa. It was in "horrible condition and it was obvious because of all the wear and tear, rust and corrosion. The owner came out and looked at it. It was apparent and obvious what needed replacing. They came out again and supposedly replaced a plastic cover with a handle that did not even need replacing. I could not even tell because it looked like the original. So it could have been falsified that the plastic cover was replaced.. After several calls and talking to Connie, the receptionist, to replace the corroded/rusted blower, no one ever came back to my house to rectify the issue,, and never offered to refund my money after asking them approximately four times. The plastic cover for a filter DID NOT NEED REPLACING THAT THEY SUPPOSEDLY REPLACED AND CHARGED ME $54.00.When I called about the 2nd time, Connie said the part had been replaced. I told her NO, the metal corroded blower was still there and had to take a picture of it to send it to them. Anyone could tell what needed replacing. I never GOT THAT RESOLVED! When our pool heater quite working, and we could not use our filtration system, I called our home warranty company, American Home Warranty out of CA. They told me that Aqua Time Pools would be coming out and I begged them, to no avail, by two representatives that I spoke with to have another pool company come out to replace the cracked heater. I told them of my past "nightmare with them". Connie, the receptionist,, told me it would be approximately 1 week to get the heater, and they would replace it immediately when it came in. After over 2 weeks, Connie called me and said it would be another 10 days to come and replace the heater. I told her it was "urgent" because our pool was so filthy and was starting to turn green. She said, "they would try to come sooner", but never did. I called them and left a message on how incompetent and inept they were, unreliable, and once again brought up the issue with the corroded, rusted blower that was never replaced. Then, at the very last minute (about 2 days before they were supposed to arrive) they called and said they were not going to service us by putting in the new heater. WHAT????? HOW DID THEY GET AWAY WITH THAT?? I was only being totally blunt and honest with my comments to them and AM/WAS EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED WITH THIS COMPANY. I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY STAY IN BUSINESS. I had to call American Home AGAIN, and this time they referred me to another pool company. I mentioned that they should have done this in the first place. I expressed my dissatisfaction to them regarding AQUA TIME POOLS, and the only thing they would do is to say, "we will not sent them too you again for any repairs". Therefore, FINALLY, they called another company, Britton Pools, whom within a week came and installed my new heater. I as shocked over this company as well because we had to pay $400.00 out of pocked to have a $32.00 valve installed, since the person or company that replaced it in 2013 did not install properly, and a PVC pipe replaced along with the heater. I had assumed that American Home Warranty paid the company for installing the heater. We had to pay approximately $100.00 total to shock our pool. We paid Briton Pools to buy the chemicals and had to go out and purchase more chemicals. Another $95.00 to have our filter cleaned by a professional pool company because of Aqua Time's inadequacy, unprofessional practices,, inconsideration, unreliability, rudeness, uneducated owner/employees. , This company REALLY DRAGS THEIR FEET. They do not show up for appointments and/or are late. THEY ARE NOT EVEN AWARE, FOR SOME ODD REASON, WHAT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, REPAIRED OR FIXED! PEOPLE -- PLEASE BEWARE!!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT GOOD, PROFESSIONAL, HONEST RELIABLE EMPLOYEES/OWNER TO COME OUT AND DO ANY SERVICING ON YOUR POOL OR EQUIPMENT WHATSOEVER!!!

Supposed to check my none functioning filter. The heater service guy showed me the rusted and broken filter elements and adviced me to fix it. The local pool guy also adviced it was not working. This company managed to say it was working and in good condition. Thie service was performed by their manager according to my call to the office. Totally incompetent service guy who turned out to be one of the managers. No call from the service guy. Had to call and check what they were doing and had to discuss with a rude office person who had no clue and did not care. STAY AWAY from this incompetent company. Get someone else I got help from a local company who new their stuff and got my filter working in no time. A.olsen

They are very good and efficient. They came out right away and I was very happy with their service. They were able to get a salt cell for my pool at a very good price. They also installed the salt cell. I would very much so use this provider in the future.

We thought they were cleaning the filters and salt water gnerator on a regular basis but found out, too late, that they were doing nothing more than cleaning the pool unless instructed. This after telling them more than once to clean the filters and salt water generator every three months.
Description of Work: HIred to perform all regular maintenence on our pool and we found out that they were not cleaing filters or salt water generator unless reminded. As a result the salt water generator was destroyed and we have hired another company to do regular maintenence on our pool.

The company was sent out on a home warranty, they had a look at the equipment, informed me that they needed to get authorization from the warranty company on the work that needed to be done and equipment replaced. They came on a friday morning and I got conformation from them that the work was approved by that afternoon. They returned on the monday and completed the work. I really liked the service tech they sent out he was very friendly and honest. I would recommend Aquatime pools.

Everything went very well over the last 8 months we became aware of this company. I'm glad they service Montgomery county. I have called other places for quotes but chose to stick with Aquatime because they are fair, honest, and do a good job. Very professional, their name is on their trucks, and the techs are thorough and very nice to deal with. It is easy to get an appt. because a live person, usually Connie, answers the phone! Not a recording. Great job, I'm very pleased with this company.
Description of Work: We were introduced to AquaTime Pools through the home warranty company. They were called when we had pool problems. They first found a cracked pool filter. So the warranty company agreed to replace it. Other non warranty items we had them do for us because they were honest and fair and reasonably priced. Now our heater has stopped working. Michael, the service tech, attempted to fix it with new parts but each time it failed. He indicated he had never seen a heater act like ours did. He again was able to get the warranty company to replace the heater.
