METRO BLUE WATER POOL SVC

The problem there was the person who founded the company was retiring and his son was taking over and is not doing a good job so we fired them too. Their price is a little better than the other company I used. We were happy with them until the overman retired and the last few months, you could tell the business was wondering and it became impossible to get information to people. So that’s when we said forget this. They didn’t show up and they didn’t do anything. Their professionalism was good. It’s just the son couldn’t get it together but they were courteous and understood what our concerns was and we left on good terms. Just get more organized and communicate amongst each other. That was the biggest problem we’ve had. When the older man left, he had been running things and when he retired, it seem like the son just wasn’t ready to take over and it was very disorganized. The workers weren’t made aware of things and they would not make aware of parts so it was kind of falling apart.

I was happy with them. The old man owns the business so the first time, the service was good but then it went to different management.

As a new pool owner, I contacted this company for pool service for one month's cleaning/service. They failed to show on the appointed time. Again the second time they failed to show. At the next appointment they only scooped out the pool with a net, as it was late Friday afternoon and the technician seemed to be in a hurry. I was then told that I had a pump leak from a faulty/old seal. We requested this to be repaired immediately. After a week they still didn't show and I had to call them again to get them to come out. In the meantime I had to put water in the pool for one hour because of the wait. The next problem was that I needed a new filter. Yes, I agree it was old but the cost for the filter was double what it cost in the pool store. Next I signed up for their "pool school". That was the biggest joke---there were no handouts---the technician was vague about everything and then they charged us double what they quoted us. Yes, they adjusted this. Also they charged us more for the monthly service than they initially quoted. Thhey adjusted this also. Next, I called in with a credit card payment and it did not go through because the person I talked to didn't know how to properly use the machine, but there was no return call to tell me this---so my next month's bill was $$$$. Also after cancelling the pool service the regular guy returned to clean the pool. In essence, this is a company with no communication between the staff and the people that you talk to on the phone to request your services. There is no price list that they adhere to. The prices are high but the service is the worst. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. oo
