Eric is a person who comes and does exactly what you want. I called him told him what I wanted. He did not push for more expensive windows. He is not a high pressure salesman and I am so glad I found him. All companies should be like this. He just did what I wanted. Four people came to do this and it took four and a half days. They left the area good. The workers were pleasant did their work and we had no issues.

Great. Took a while to schedule because of coupon offer but showed up on time and cleaned up after.

Eric was extremely professional from start to finish. He was detail-oriented and was very easy to contact. His punctuality was a big plus. He spent over three hours on the first visit giving us a detailed estimate for the windows. His product seemed solid and I particularly liked the fact that he would be doing the work personally. When he installed the windows, it took approximately three days. His crew came early, worked hard, and cleaned up before they left. One of the windows had the wrong style of frame placed at the factory. When we showed him, he immediately ordered the correct window and came back to replace it himself at no additional cost. Overall, he worked very hard to provide excellent service.

It took them about 3 hours to take out the old windows and install the new ones. Everything went very well and the new windows look great!

Took advantage of the Big Deal offered since the window replacement was part of a remodeling job planned. The special allowed me to save over 350.00. Eric came out and took the measurements and showed me several options available. Once everything was decided, we set an installation date. He arrived on time and went right to work. They were very careful to cover everything to keep everything clean. They worked quickly and it only took a few hours. When they finished, they made sure that all debris was cleared away. Eric took the time to make sure that the alarm sensors were reinstalled and working properly before he left. I was very happy with how the work was done and feel this was a very good deal. I would use Green Star again.

When Eric gave the estimate for the job, we were impressed with his knowledge regarding his product. He was able to answer all our questions. We did not have to wait an extended time for the work to begin. Eric and Shane were here on time every day. They worked quickly and professionally. Cleanup was excellent. I would certainly recommend Eric and Green Star to anyone who needs window replacement. He has a good product and and does his work well. We have had compliments from others who would know on how well the windows were installed. We felt the price was fair and competitive.

Eric came exactly the time we agreed upon. He and his helper finished the job by the end of the work day. I was a little concerned that the house would be hot while they did their work. However, he sealed off the area where they were working and there was no problem at all. In fact, I was able to watch TV just a few feet from his work site. The finished product was superior and a wonderful change to the look of our house. We are also enjoying the change in our electric bill.

Eric is a great person to do business with. This is the second time he has been to our house. The first time was excellent and so we finally decided to replace the rest of our windows. Scheduling and working and clean up is a breeze with this company. I would recommend o anyone who needs windows to think about using them. It is so much cooler in our house now and it really looks great. When they are done, you can't even tell they have been there except for the new windows.

I bought their amazing deal, $1,499 for 4 windows, and now that they've been installed, I can't believe what a great deal this truly is! From the time the appointment to measure my existing windows until having the new windows installed today was only a couple of weeks. Each of the gentlemen I dealt with were prompt, highly professional and cleaned up after themselves very well. They even went the "extra mile" by changing out a the pair of blinds in my bedroom at no extra charge! I give Green Star Windows all A's because they certainly deserve it. The quality of the windows is incredible, they were prompt, fast and did quality work. I'd recommend them in a heart beat!

Called and scheduled immediately. Had to reschedule, but when he arrived he did a great job installed the window in less than two hours. Very nice guy!

I located Green Star Windows on Angie?s List and was impressed with the consistently high grades and positive remarks that were posted by his customers. I also researched Green Star Windows on the Better Business Bureau Site and found the same high rating. Working with Eric was a pleasure ? he is definitely customer focused. The entire process was a positive experience from beginning to completion. He was very upfront regarding the attributes of the different window models, the prices and the options that were available. He seemed to have a good understanding of what we were looking for and made a practical recommendation that fit our requirements. At no time did he attempt to upsell us to a more expensive model. At our request, he replaced all eighteen windows in our home in three phases starting in the fall of 2013 and last phase completed in June 2014. Each time he showed up on time, as promised, with the correct windows and everything necessary to complete the job. Eric was on site the entire time with his crew. Everyone in the crew was very pleasant: they covered all of the windows openings before starting work to keep the outside environment on the outside. They were careful not to track dirt or any other debris in the house and cleaned up the entire work area before they left. Prior to starting the job I communicated to Eric that one main requirement was to completely seal around all of the new windows so that there was no entry point for air, water, etc. During the installation process Eric took the initiative to show me exactly how he was sealing around each window. I was very pleased with method and the detail he went to. We are very pleased with the quality of the product and the quality of the installation.

They arrived on time, put down canvas to protect the floor, and they were very careful removing the old windows and door and trim. I really appreciate them showing me the termites on the window frame so I can get that handled. I did not know we had termites. They fit the windows and door, sealed them properly, then added new trim. You can see photos of the work (white monolithic domes) on the Green Star Windows website. I was really impressed with the way they cleaned up the mess when they were done. They were pleasant to work with and I would definitely recommend them.

Eric MacGormon is the owner of the business ( Green Star Windows) and is a very nice person. He came out and measured and later installed twenty replacement windows (Simonton Reflection 5050) in my residence. He did what I considered a professional job installing the window. The windows came with vinyl screens and I upgraded to aluminum screens. Several of the window were shipped from the company (Samonton) with the wrong size screens that would not fit. Mr. MacGormon advised he would reorder the correct screens and install them at a later date. In January of 2014, MacGormon notified me he had the new screens and a time set up for him to come out to my residence and install them. When he arrived and started to install the replacement screens, two of the screens were still made wrong and did not work. Mr. MacGormon advised he would contact Samonton again and have them make the correct screens for the windows. I waited until April and contacted Mr. MacGormon in reference to the two screens that needed to be replaced. He advised me that he had forgot to order the screens and apologized and stated he would order them that day. Well it is now June 4th of 2014 and I have not heard from Mr. MacGormon and I still need two screens that properly fit my windows. If Mr. MacGormon reads this review on his company and responds and corrects the issue, I will provide him with a better rating of an overall rating of B because I think he still did a good job installing the windows and I tried to be understanding with him because I felt it was not his fault that the company messed up the screen order; however, I feel he should have corrected the problem since he is a business person and his repartition rides on his professionalism and making sure the job is done right. I made contact with Mr. MacGormon on this date (June 4th of 2014) and he came out and re-measured the two windows and stated he would order the proper fitting screens. I will update the review when the screens are installed.

Eric and his crew arrived early and set up shop. They quickly pulled out the old windows. They worked all day for 3 days installing the new windows. Cutting the trim and fitting it over each window seemed to take longer than the installation of the windows since that work requires measuring, cutting, installing. They insulated and caulked around all the windows. Our dog had chewed up some wood molding on one of our doors and Erick was able to take molding from another window and fix the door. The door is worth about $1,200 so Eric's handy worked saved us a lot of money in that we did not have to replace the door. The windows look and feel very nice and I am looking forward to saving some money as the summer heats up.

This is the third time I have had Green Star Windows install a replacement window. Each time they arrived on time and did a great job. We are very happy with their work and with the quality of the windows.

From the get-go Eric was great. Very uncomplicated person to work with and will give his honest opinion regarding the products he uses. They showed up on time on the scheduled day and really worked hard to get everything done in one day, leaving shortly after 8pm. I'm so very happy with the results and can already tell the difference of the low-e coating and solar screens on the east-facing windows. His crew was beyond polite and everyone made sure to clean up aftewards.

Probably one of the best and most competitive quotes you will receive. Eric is a very honest businessman and good natured, does the work himself and a very good job. I did quite some research on windows and found Eric's knowledge to be valuable. We decided on two brands of windows and also made additional requests, and he was able to provide. I'm very happy we found a decent and reliable contractor to do the job. We were given his details by word of mouth, because of this he is a very busy guy. Definitely tops the list of contractors you can trust.

Eric came to give an estimate when they said they would. He gave us a price on Simonton windows which were the windows we wanted. Eric and Tony arranges a week to put in the windows that fit their and our schedule. Every day they arrived on time. Each night they cleaned up after their work. The neighbors started talking about what hard workers they were. They worked long days to get the windows in as soon as they could. We are really impressed with the new windows. The house is quieter and less wind and dust is getting in. And the house is warmer--something important after this cold winter we have had. What I appreciated the most was the attention to detail they used in removing 90 year old windows and putting in the new ones. They did it right. I was especially impressed with the way they put in the flashing around the windows. We have a brick house and I wanted flashing to go to the edge of the brick so that I would never have to paint around these 2nd story windows again. Since the house is from the 1920s there are many more pieces of molding around the windows than in modern houses. I wanted the character of the windows to look like they were from the 1920s. That meant more bending of the flashing. They brought a portable break and bent the metal on site. Both Eric, the boss, and Tony were friendly and easy to get along with. When I made of list of 4 issues that needed attention near the end of the job, Eric took the list from me and addressed each item right away. We had not planned on replacing the windows on the first floor of the house but since we are so pleased with their work we plan on saving up money and doing the first floor of the house in a year or two.

My experience with Green Star Windows was excellent from beginning through completion. Everything was exactly as expected, Eric was prompt, great communication, and his work was perfection. I will use him again in the future when I replace more windows, and I have confidence in referring him to others since I know they will be equally pleased with his service and products. He only uses Simonton windows which are definitely the BEST windows out there. His pricing was very fair & much less than Home Depot who also uses Simonton windows. I highly recommend using Green Star Windows for all your window needs, you will very happy with this company!

Eric is the owner and also does the work, my wife said that his sales approach was the best one she has had. As far as the work itself, I cannot tell you what a difference it made in those rooms. The windows are great looking and good quality. They told us when they were coming, what the schedule was and cleaned up after themselves. Outstanding we are getting a quote for the rest of the house. Great company I have already recommended to many people. Will try to post some pictures.
