Vick's Handyman

Terrific! These jobs occurred over a period of about three weeks. He showed up when he said he would and his priced are very fair.

Vic came out and gave us a quote on the work to be done. He is busy so it took a few days to get him in, but he showed up early and got to work. He picked up all of the materials he needed but had given us the option to supply them. He did a great job patching the ceiling where we had a hole from a light we had him remove and he did a good job patching the wall where we had removed a bar. We had several cracks located throughout the house that we had patched, some better than others. He textured walls where we had removed wallpaper and the texturing looks great, just not the most thurough cleanup. When the contractors replacing our counters and kitchen sink found leaking water supply isolation valves, he called and offered to replace them and prevented the work from being delayed. I really appreciated that. He finished before I got home from work but was flexible about meeting up to pay. Eventually met up with him to pay by check and was happy with the work.

Victor had completed previous satisfactory work of a doorknob installation on a rental property we own. We used his service again for a leaking drain which he replaced the drain&downpipe and installed a new faucet. Both are working great. Another bathroom was having the flooring replaced so the bath cabinet and sink were removed. There had been an older cabinet that was built in so part of the wall needed replacing and the pipes had previously leaked and the back wall needed replacing. Victor repaired both areas completely and used wall board to make the wall even. Both repairs were finished in a timely manner and look good.

He was very responsive and did a good job for a reasonable price. He said he would contact me for some other work but has not. Therefore, I got someone else to do the other work and no longer need is services. He was a very nice man and did a good job so I would recommend him to a friend.

great, used a level to be sure straight...these were blinds that really did not fit but they managed to hang them above outside and they look very nice...

No response to my request for service. I cannot rate on anything other than responsiveness.

Not well, he did not show up for the appointment to give me an estimate.

I contracted him to build a shed, he gave me a price and I said yes. He came, started it and I paid him half because I thought he had worked that much. He came back again and I pointed out a few things that needed to be done. He had written instructions and I told him to follow them. He gave me a bunch of excuses about it, worked on it for a while longer then left and never came back again. He never finished it and we had to hire someone else to put it together. He never called me back, and never asked me for more money, because he knew he was doing it wrong. I have never seen anybody do it wrong after reading instructions in the manual. His price was a little high.

So thrilled Vick was able to assemble this basketball net as when it arrived I knew there was no way I could do it on my own. I found Vick and two other handymen via Angies list and called him based on his wonderful ratings. I called Vick first and was so happy and comfortable with him that I didn't even bother calling the other two handymen! He came out within a few days with his crew and they all were very professional and courteous. Thrilled with the results and would highly recommend him to anyone and would use him again. rebuilt station for bbq pit. laid ceramic tile around bbq station to match the rest of the out door kitchen. could not have ask for a better job. they were on time, work fast, no fooling around. all for a fair price. would recommend these guys for about any job.

They were very professional. They responded quickly and came out on a weekend after a pipe had burst in our attic. They are reasonably priced and do an excellent job. We will use them in the future.

He showed up late and did not show up at times and in the middle of the project we had to get someone else after already paying him.

Provider did not show up when scheduled and did not call to say when they would not be able to show up to do the work. Very frustrating working with provider because their schedule kept changing. Eventually found another handyman to do the work.

He showed up on time; called back same day we left message. Did quality work; efficient; friendly; overall excellent experienc e. He did what he said he would do and even did an extra little job. Price was very fair.

Never showed up and never called!

We were dealing with a flooring issue in a vacation home about 3 hours from where we live. Victor came out as promised, gave an estimate, and, when scheduled, showed up promptly. He and his workers did the job in less time that estimated, did a wonderful professional job and always asked before proceeding with little issues that arose during the repair job. At one point, he and his workers were alone in the house, because we had confidence in their honesty and reliability. Our trust was well placed and we would hire this company

Everything went fairly well would probably use profesional flooring place if I did it again.

Vick was prompt and fair and did a great job. I will definitely be using his services again.

Overall, the whole job went very well; Victor and his crew completed the tiling of the living room, dining room and kitchen in about 3 days. This included finishing the demo for the previous person who did not show up when he said he would and then completing the demo of the kitchen floor. Victor started tiling work on Tuesday morn and completed the work the following Friday, about 3 days. After a week, Victor came back to do the backsplash in the kitchen. I am more than satisfied with the finished product. The tiling for the floors was done from 11/14 thru 11/16 and the kitchen backsplash was done from 11/26 (Fri) and then completed on 11/29. I would most definitely hire Victor Salazar again.

He inspected the work after it was performed to assure it was a quality job. I will use him again.
