He came right away, gave me a bid, and said he would be over the next morning. He came, did the work, and did a good job. He was very fair priced and did some extra work and wasn’t going to charge me for it.

George was just great! He showed up when I expected and worked very quickly and completed everything I wanted done at a fair price. I was amazed that he was able to get so much work done so fast, and everything came out perfect. Our condo was built in the 1960's and is mostly settled and out of square but everything worked fine when he finished. He even hauled away the old doors for me, which is always a problem for me. Finding this carpenter was worth the cost of Angie's List membership! I could not be happier!

The work was done in a matter of a couple of days. He purchased all the materials, then I repaid them using the receipts. The labor price was very fair for all the work he had to do. He was very knowledgeable and made recommendations to save me money in the long run. I really liked him and his work.

George Godin of TMC Construction did a very nice job remodeling our bathroom. He listened to what we wanted to do, worked hard and cared about getting the details right. In addition, he has a friendly, professional demeanor. We would definitely hire him again.

George did a wide range of things during our remodel. He completely gutted all old flooring from both floors including the stairs. On the 2nd floor he laid Pergo Max laminate and stained to match oak trim for the transition pieces. 1st floor was much more in depth. We decided to go with an 18x18 porcelain tile in the kitchen/living room and wanted to replace the old fireplace mantel with a full sized stone mantel when he he did a fantastic job installing. He suggested offsetting those large tiles and they came out great. Then there was the formal dining/sitting room which we decided to transform into a game room. This is where things got a little complicated. We wanted the same oak color as the laminate upstairs, but with porcelain tiles while having to match the custom oak stairs George was going to build for us, along with incorporating travertine in the front entrance. Without getting too much into the details everything turned out beautifully. Forgot to mention that he put in all new baseboard throughout the house. Other things he did included removing/re-installing all the lighting fixtures, and installed a new back door with a dog door as well. He also built the bar in the attached photos.

George came out within an hour of me calling him. We talked for a little while about everything that needs to be done and I told him I was looking at spending no more than $5000. He accepted the bid. Construction took a while because of a delay in the floor paint, but he was patient and tried to get as much work done as possible. Everything took about a week longer than anticipated, but the end result was amazing and I was very satisfied. The total amount of materials & sub-contractors almost came to $5000. He stuck to his word and only charged me $5000. Which essentially meant he did all that work for free. I felt bad so I gave him an extra $750 even though he never asked or pressured me for more money. Since then we have given him more work. He's reasonably priced, works quickly and does a quality job.

Went well. Provider completed all the work that we discussed within a reasonable amount of time. Plan to use provider again for additional work.

George went above and beyond to repair our gates and make sure we were satisfied customers. There were some communication issues after the initial quote but as soon as he learned of this he apologized and worked with us to get the work done as we discussed and as soon as possible. The were some problems with the posts that he had to work around which made it a more difficult job but he did what was needed and the gates look great and are very secure. He even did the work on a Saturday, within just a few hours, so that we would have a nice looking side gate for a party we had that evening. I am very impressed with George's work ethic and it is refreshing to have somebody come forward and take responsibility to correct issues nowadays, it means so much. Thank you again George!

We did use them but I can't remember what we ended paying but we were very satisfied. They were good, showed up on time, did what he said he would do and that was the most important. They did their work good and did what he said he's going to do.

I called George at TMC Construction late Friday afternoon to replace a ceiling fan and check out a faulty garage door at our rental house. He was in contact with the renter that weekend and coordinated a time that worked for her. He purchased the ceiling fan and replaced it before the end of the weekend. He also gave me detailed information on the problem with the garage door so I can relay that information to a garage door company. The whole time he was friendly and always kept me up-to-date each step of the way. My renter is happy and I'm happy. I give him an A+!

I was on a business trip when my water heater broke at my rental property. I needed someone fast and reliable so of course I turned to Angie's List. That's where I found George, he was so kind when I told him what was needed he assured me that he could take care of it. Not only did he do an INCREDIBLE job, but he went back the very next day for my tenants to turn the heat up for them. I would recommend George to anyone and everyone!! Thank You George!!!

The owners name is George. The estimate experience was great. He was honest and very helpful. He offered a lot of support. He said that if I wanted to do the work myself, I could call him anytime and he would give me advice. His price was probably on a higher end but when I head back to Corpus Christi, I’m most likely going to hire him when I get the time to get back down there. I live in San Antonio and so when I have the time to get back down there, I will most likely hire him. His quote was for about $1800. I would recommend the others to get an estimate from him. I will probably use his services again in the future.

His price was very good. He cleaned up after himself. He forgot to install a peephole, that we had purchased for him to install. The original doors were not standard size, and he installed standard size, and made it look great. The window trim looks good, and he did calk them. The siding was done very quickly and efficiently and he figured out a way to save material. We have already scheduled him to do more work.

TMC Construction did excellent work on both the remodeling and the flooring. He had to tear out the upper layer of the flooring and in the bathroom he had to tear out everything but the studs. He did excellent work. He was very straightforward, was easy to work with, was up front about how long it would take and for the most part stuck to that. He did exactly what he said he was going to do, and he cleaned up afterwards as well.

George was prompt & he & his helper worked non-stop until they finished in one day. They even straightened the table. They matched the existing paint. They cleaned the floor to remove the sut. They cleaned up everything before they left.

The gentleman came to my home, wrote down everything I wanted done, took measurements, checked to see if the wall I wanted moved out to extend the living room was load bearing, wrote down all the information on his legal pad and that was the last I heard from TMC. I called the office a couple of weeks later to ask for the estimate, they assured me it would be in the mail the next day and I have not received anything, even a phone call, from them. Obviously, they don't need the work.

The gentleman was very prompt and professional and charged a reasonable price. I will certainly use him again.
