The guys with All About Floors arrived early. We discussed what would happen for the project. They took care of business in getting our floors done throughout the house. No surprises and NO drama!

I live in Central Corpus Christi. I arranged for an estimate for a kitchen floor replacement at Home Depot. They sent a man over from All About Floors. The man from All About Floors came over, on time, and looked at our kitchen floor and said they could not do the job. It was a simple wood floor job, remove the old and replace with new from Home Depot but he told me they can't do any subfloor work even though our home is on a concrete slab foundation and any subfloor work would be very simple. The only subfloor is simply some 1 x 2 boards running laterally across the slab. The wood floor to be replaced was attached to those 1 x 2 boards. That's all there was. How in the world can you replace a wood floor without being able to do simple work on the boards it is nailed or glued to??? I went back to Home Depot and got my $35 back for the estimate since they said they were unable to do the job. Honestly, I can't help but wonder if he just wants to put his crews on bigger jobs than we had at this time.

took a while for Lowes to get all the flooring in. I had the house leveled before laying new floor to make sure seams would stay matched. They laid it exactly the way i wanted it so it looked like a real wood floor job. I was impressed with their craftmanship. Kind of pricey but everyone got their cut and i got a written garanntee from Lowes and the manufacture.

Installation went fine, but after a few months problems developed. Some areas of flooring unstable and creaking. Entire floor had to be taken up and re-installed. Still having some instability and creaking, but it is better.

Laminate flooring installed in bedroom. Carpet removed and installation completed in less than a day. Owner and helper very professional. Arrived on time and completed job quicker than expected. Did a great job and the flooring looks great. Cleaned area and discarded all trash. Very pleased.

Mr. B.J. Ortiz came to the house and looked at our kitchen floor which we need to have replaced. The subfloor is also in need of replacement. The house is on a slab foundation. We wanted him to remove the present wood floor and subfloor and put in a new subfloor and tile. For some reason, he wouldn't take the job and he wouldn't say why. He just said he couldn't help us. He must have better work to do is all I can figure out. Since he does installation for Lowe's I was very disappointed since I was planning to buy the tile there. I will say that he kept his appointment to do the estimate as promised and he was pleasant. All I can guess is that some contractors are looking for big jobs only.

Gave us a bid, came on a Saturday with a helper to do the job. Did a great job. Also gave an estimate on installing a new floor in the kitchen. Haven't had it done yet, but won't even look anywhere else for a bid because his is so reasonable. His name is B. J. Ortiz and he can be contacted on his cell phone 361-510-9783. The job was done very well, everything cleaned up and both people were very courteous and professional and yet very down home.
