NOT A QUALITY JOB BY ANY STRETCH OF THE IMAGINATION. I COULD HAVE DONE BETTER!!!!! And I have!
Description of Work: Hired them to repaint my front door, side metal fence, and kitchen cabinets. Jason, the owner, nice guy. BUT, that's where it stops. Have had them back three times, and each time it doesn't get better. The front door, the young kid didn't even sand down the old paint and where it was bubbling from previous paint....just painted over. THAT I could do myself. I said I paid for the prep work, needs prepped. 2nd coat, did a little sanding and repainted. Still bubbles and a big crater where the old paint had chipped off. 3rd attempt, Jason sanded himself, but still a bit of a crater from the original old paint, and it was painted when the door was hot...so left thick brush strokes. Told me they'd come back again to fix AGAIN. The back gate, once again, they did NO PREP work, just painted, even though the price reflected each individual rung to be prepped and painted. Came back again, showed them where it was ALREADY CHIPPING b/c they didn't sand the previous paint down. 2nd attempt, was acceptable, but still had minor flaws I could live with. Kitchen cabinets. Where do I begin. Going from a dark color to a light color, wanted them painted inside and out, Jason gave orders to the guys, but I stopped them and said, no....is supposed to be painted inside too. Jason didn't remember even though it was on the quote inside and out. So they stalled, and finally agreed they'd spray them to get an even coat (don't you know this stuff ahead of time???). My kitchen was taped with plastic film for 5 days in total, couldn't use the fridge, pantry, etc.....at least for 3 days. Finally plastic comes down and I see pivots in the paint (they DID NO PREP WORK ON THE CABINETS, JUST SPRAYED), there was bubble bumps from air in the paint on some cabinets, there was paint on my tile floor, on my cabinet hardware, they used MY STEPSTOOL and got paint on it, paint on the wall from overspray. There was also a WAD OF HAIR probably from my dog, stuck in one of the cabinets.....I alerted them of these items, they used a coarse brush to DOB paint over the divots which looks even worse. 2nd time I have them come back to fix cabinets......they end up putting a high gloss paint on the fixed cabinet doors, when the rest of the cabinets are semi-gloss............UGHHHH I finally gave up. I will fix the rest myself so as to not have the aggravation. I hired them b/c I didn't have the time to paint myself....but by all the time I have been here having them fix it, I could have painted it myself and saved myself about $1700. NEVER AGAIN WOULD I HIRE THEM. My neighbor told me the same story at her house as well.
