The installation was fine. If their price was good, I would use them again.

They were so bad. I ordered it, they lost the order, they didn't deliver so I called them up. They said they lost my order and said they'll give me somebody else and I can order again. I ordered again and went through the whole thing again, rescheduled, and they called and said they can't do it so we'll have to do it another day. I said okay, we'll do it then. They came and delivered and the guys asked if I wanted to put it in the garage. I told them I wanted them to take the old stove and they said that's not in their order, and they can't do that. It was just screw up after screw up. He called somebody from Sears and I told them they have screwed up this sale up every time from the time I tried ordering it. This is the third time, they're out. I told them to take the stove back to their store. I'll get it someplace else which I did for the same price at Home Depot, and everything was absolutely perfect, not one mistake, not one screw up, they did everything perfectly. The pricing was good. I don't know what happened to Sears. My dad was a Sears guy. I was a Sears guy for a long time but so much of that place has gone downhill.

I called them because the dryer stopped working. When I explained the situation, they told me the warranty ran out last October. When I originally purchased the dryer and warranty, it was explained to me that the manufacturers warranty covered the first year and then the 3-year warranty I purchased from Sears would kick in after that. They told me this was not the case and when I purchased their warranty that it voided the manufacturers warranty. I spoke to several different people and they all told me the same thing. I spoke to a manager, Faye Lynn that was prompt in getting back to me. She was very apologetic and understanding. She really tried to do everything she could do, but had to direct me to the store manager, but they will not get back in touch with me.

I hate Sears. We purchased the unit and have had nothing but trouble with it. We bought the maintenance package with the unit and they have provided the worst service ever. The unit is a lemon and I've had to call them all the time. It takes them forever to come out when I call them. I thought the service was good at first but I was wrong. I will never use them again. As far as I'm concerned they ought to go out of business.

They haven’t delivered the dryer yet, but the delivery went great with the appliance last year. We were actually in an ice storm at that time, and they managed to deliver it which was really kind of crazy but it all worked out well. The sales thing was a little off this time. When I initially went to the clerk and the assistant manager, there was a hiccup with some credit and they told me they were sorry and that they couldn’t help me. I told them there is a problem on their end, but they told me they couldn’t help me so I came home and got a receipt when I bought the washing machine a year ago and went back. The gentleman had helped me then and everything was fine. He was really helpful. I even made a point of calling the store and leaving a good word for him. The cost was $658, and there was a $70 delivery charge. The first time it was an anomaly. It has never happened to me before at Sears. I can sometimes find stuff a little cheaper elsewhere, but they have such a great reliability that if it is a little more than the cheapest thing I would still rather pay it. I always have great delivery from them. I live fairly close to Sears, so usually I am the first one that they drop off to. I will surely return to them for more appliances should I need them.
