Description of Work: Set date to go to house needing repair. Day of, called and cancelled for bigger job/regular customer. I understand that. Everyone's got to make a living. But he never called back (as he said he would do the next day)to let me know if he would even be back. THAT I have a problem with.

+ -1 moreHe never finished the carpet. He didn't have the proper tools to stretch or seam the carpet correctly. I asked him the day after he installed the carpet if he would stretch the carpet and he told me, "My friends son took my tools." As for the tile installation, Mr. Hill didn't use tile spacers or a trowel. He used drywall screws for the hardy board. Mr. Hill was also kind enough to dump thin set all over my tree outside. Oh and a special thanks for the thin set washed down the kitchen sink. I not only had to re-buy all the tile and hardy board he wasted, I had to re-do my kitchen plumbing. There are many more things I have to say about his work ethic and professionalism. Be warned and don't use this dude!
Description of Work: Ron was supposed to install carpet in 3 bedrooms, tile the tub surround plus the restroom floor/kitchen counter top, and install front and back porch railings. I had to stop him before anymore damage was done.

+ -1 moreGreat value. Ron works fast and is adapted to working outdoors in the heat. I've been in the construction business all my life and Ron is a great worker with a great attitude.
Description of Work: Ron patched my roof at two locations, raised one end of my mobile home 4", adjusted the front door strike, and installed one full roll of insulation under the floor ,all for $80. Great value and easy to get along with.
