+ -1 moreVery professional, gave a fair quote (we had a previous company quote us almost 2k more for the same job). Started on a Monday and finished Tuesday afternoon. Very pleased with the quality of work and the whole experience. Highly recommend and would use again!

+ -1 moreMr. Garza never gave me an estimate after contacting him multiple times.
Description of Work: Called Mr. Garza for an estimate for concrete work along driveway. He came out on the day agreed upon and looked the job over. He stated he would send me an email with the final estimate. Email never arrived. I called him a week later. Did not get ahold of him but left my phone number and email again on his voice mail. He never got back with me. I will not be calling him again.

Description of Work: He came out to provide an estimate. He was punctual - after realizing that I lived in Portland instead of Corpus. Seemed like a nice guy and very knowledgable about his work. Informed me that he would get in contact with me either Friday or early Monday with an estimate---he never did. He is on the BBB and on Angie's List and has received good ratings. Which is why it's such a disappointment when I didn't even hear back from him.

+ -1 morePrior to any work being done, Mr. Garza posted the permit on the fence for anyone to see. We had our existing driveway and sidewalk removed and disposed. The entire front and both sides of the house were replaced with swept concrete (this is where the pebble is exposed and concrete is tinted brown). Mr. Garza had city inspection and approval performed at appropriate time. In addition, Mr. Garza put in pfc for cables and this has already proven very handy. He also put white marble stone in remaining border flower bed and in area around cable pedestal. He moved the existing mailbox so that mail delivery would not be interrupted until we had brick mailbox built. Work was performed during recent rains, so he came by every day and kept us up to date on what could or could not be done that day. He and his crew made every accomodaiton to us so that we would have access to come and go during construction. Mr. Garza and his crew were very professional. It was apparent that Mr. Garza is an expert and we are very pleased with the result. Friends planning concrete work have already asked for his contact info based on the work he did for us. The amount of square feet when completed was less that the estimate, so Mr. Garz adjusted the final bill. His original estimate had been considerable less than the highest bid we received.
Description of Work: We received several bids from contractors. We selected Quality Concrete based on the fact that we had seen his work at another location in our neighborhood (Padre Island), his reasonalble bid, and his explanation of how work would be done. He included getting all permits and removal of existing materials as part of the bid. In addition, he included acid wash and application of sealant to the completed work. He was very sensitive to the issues of working on the island.
