Pena Quality Flooring

Just a complete horror. Came in tore out old cabinets and placed outside in the driveway. (where it stayed for 3 weeks). This took them 1/2 day. Next day tore out 230 feet of adhesive tile and 220 feet of carpet. Replaced carpet in the family room. Third day removed wall between living room and kitchen. Fourth day built foundation for bar. Fifth day installed wall cabinets on one side of the ktchen. Said he was coming on Saturday but was a no show. Returned about 11:30 on Monday. This is when things really turned downhill. Crew came in and put down as much tile as they could. Was waiting for Ruben to finish cabinets in kitchen but he was a no show again. Next day tile crew continue to lay tile after Ruben put the base cabinets down. Tile crew grouts kitchen and dining room. Now the tile crew wants us to pay them. We said we pay Ruben and Ruben only. Ruben will pay you. They can't find him. They go 4 days after completing their job and still had not been paid. They come to us again but we said no. They and we are looking for his return. Tile work was ok but you can see seams in the carpet. Next day Ruben is a no show. Next day Ruben is a no show. Wife finds defects in the tile itself. Everyday she found scratches or scuffs in the tile maybe from the moving of cabinets or just bad tile. We decide to eat the cost of the tile and pay it's removal and replacement. We bought new tile and payed separate to have it installed. After tile is installed countertops are installed with gaps. Screw bulge is coming from top of countertop. Placed drywall in the window sill and taped and floated the window area. Metal edges showed through the tape and float. After two weeks Ruben would show every other day and when he did he arrived late and left early. Cabinet crowns were horrible. The edges didn't meet. 4 weeks into the project he put in the microwave. The bar top had 14" hanging on one side of the bar while the other side had 3". Again we order a new top (our expense). After 4 weeks old cabinets still sit in the driveway. We had had it with this crew and let them go because he said he job was complete. Bar was not finished. Cabinet crowns still look horrible. Kitchen door won't close properly now. Bar top will not allow edging of door to be put on. Drywall is just horrible. Now we will have to hire someone to come in and complete the job. I could go on and on. Whatever you do, do not hire this guy. Not professional at all.
