Went very poorly. He asked me to wire $5000 to order kitchen cabinets for my condo remodel. I wired $8000 in good faith, $5000 as a deposit for kitchen and bath cabinats to be ordered immediately on November 4, 2013 and the other $3000 to "front" for construction materials FOR MY COND.(not to be used to complete another outstanding remodel of his). He had the money on November 4, 2013. As of February 21, 2014 he still had not ordered my cabinets. He only remodeled 2 showers and charged me $8000 per bathroom for very small simple work. He initially installed brown tile in one bathroom when I was very specific about wanting white tile. He does not use e-mail, only sends texts. He does not have a website. To date, he has not completed anywhere near $8000 worth of work TOTAL in my condo and the entire remodel (2 baths and kitchen) was to be finished by January 25, 2014 (he had from November 4, 2013- January 24, 2014 to do this work) and my condo is losing money by not being in the rental pool. After further exploration on my part, it is very disconcerting to find that he has a reputation for unreliability, even though he has remodeled about 30 condos in our complex.
Description of Work: Removed two fee-fabricated plastic shower/bath liners and installed tile in 2 showers. Some electrical work. Not a complete bathroom makeover.
