Kurt always does a fantastic job of estimating both the time and cost of the project. Every project we have done he has a great idea on design, space planning or value engineering. This plus a fast turnaround of the estimate and a clear sense of urgency to bring the project to a close is why we have used Innovo multiple times and recommend them regularly.

We purchased a single story house that had a VERY large and VERY old roof. The shingles were nearly worn down to the backing. After seeing the reviews for Innovo Renovations on Angie's List I knew I had to give them the opportunity to bid our job. Kurt showed up for all appointments on time or communicated in advance to reschedule. The quote arrived quickly (and was within just a few dollars of other competing bids). When we asked Kurt about the shingle quality and color we wanted it wasn't on his standard list. But, Kurt worked with his suppliers to get what we wanted and at a very minimal increase. Work commenced quickly after we signed the contract. Kurt's team patiently removed the "shingles" and tar paper little bit by little bit. I don't think a single shingle or piece of paper came off whole. Kurt always made sure we were "in the dry". We knew going in there would be areas of rot that were unforeseen. Kurt sent us photos of the rot and quoted us the price for additional repairs. Our new roof looks GREAT! Kurt really listens to what you want and doesn't disappear once hired. He's out site checking often. His manager, Eddie, also made site visits and Chuey, roofing supervisor) were always friendly and respectful. We are currently working with Kurt for bids on additional work to our house and intend to continue working with Kurt and his team. PS: our next project is to paint the exterior. I will upload photos after Innovo paints the house!!

Kurt Tugman and his crew (Eddie, Frank, Tacho to name a few ) at Innovo Renovations were wonderful to work with. They were professional, respectful, listened to us and explained everything they would do and when they would do it. When the inevitable glitches would occur they immediately figured out a way to fix them. For example, when the flooring and toilet were being replaced in the second bathroom bad water damage was discovered and they rebuilt the floor; the new sink in the kitchen was bigger than the old one and required new plumbing to be installed. They made the renovation painless and ultimately a complete success. We are extremely happy we chose them to do the work and would do it again in a minute. A great company with hard-working, knowledgeable and experienced people. We are very satisfied and highly recommend them!

Innovo Renovations definitely impressed me with my master bath remodel. They took my bathroom from an outdated 80s look with floral wallpaper and all into a lux, spa-like feel that is sure to be timeless. I literally just take my sweet time now getting ready in the morning and find myself ending my every day with a relaxing bath. He gutted the entire space except for the cabinets, which he repurposed beautifully, and brought in new heated tile floors, stand-alone bathtub, beautiful tile in shower with new fixtures, and revamped the toilet room. He even added to the cabinetry, building an additional cabinet to the ceiling between our his and her sinks for more space to store things out of sight and out of mind. This truly creates a clutter free, clean space to really decompress at the end of a long day. Kurt Tugman and his team at Innovo not only changed my space but my lifestyle as well. Couldn’t be happier!

I was very pleased with the remodel of the kitchen and the addition of the attic bedroom and bathroom in my one story house. The addition was complicated needing extension of part of the roof, rerouting of electrical, plumbing, and air conditioning. His crews did excellent work, and everything was organized and done with a high attention to details. The ideas put forth for my kitchen and the bedroom gave me options I hadn't considered and made for a much better finished product. Everyone was very professional and kept the area as clean and workable as possible as my kitchen went down to bare bones; they worked hard to minimize that down time which was important with my busy family. The finished product in both areas is amazing and functional, and I am very happy with it. Throughout the whole project, it was easy to be in touch when I had questions either by phone or email, and my questions were answered promptly. I have recommended this company to other people who are looking for remodeling work, and I am returning to them again for another project I need done.

The kitchen was designed by Innovo - with considerable attention to our needs and preferences. They listened. The work included design, demolition, complete replacement of custom cabinets, countertops (granite), sinks, upscale appliances, a large mirror, and lighting. A wall was relocated and the tile work of the backsplash is both artistic and well constructed. The granite is terrific and provides the ideal work surfaces and a great location for casual meals. The cabinets are solid, well-located, and well finished. The entire kitchen is "magazine quality"! The master bathroom required extensive redesign and construction - including; removal of a large (essentially useless) faux marble tub, rerouting the drain (through a concrete foundation) to accommodate a large, free-standing glass enclosure for the shower, construction of a private toilet room (with "designer toilet"), removal and replacement of all tile (walls, floor, shower bench, shower walls, and backsplash), removal and replacement of custom cabinetry (including new granite and sinks), and replacement of all plumbing and lighting fixtures. The results look remarkable. The guest bathroom also received a major renovation with a heavy glass enclosure, a complete facelift on the cabinets, modernized sinks and plumbing fixtures, new mirror and lighting, and a large granite counter-top. The highlights of the project are seen in the tile work, the plumbing, the lighting, and the granite. The only glitches on the job were mistakes made by suppliers - but those were minimized by the attention Kurt Tugman paid to time-lines and orders. The project manager (Junior Guzman) was incredibly attentive to our needs and recommendations. The work he supervised and performed himself was top-notch - a true craftsman. If I had another renovation to conduct I'd ask for the same Contractor (Innovo - Kurt Tugman), and the same project manager. Innovo was not the least expensive bid we received with the four bids we collected. But the reputation and the previous work we'd investigated indicated a higher-level of construction than expected from other contractors. The knowledge and vision demonstrated during our initial and subsequent interviews reinforced our decision. The results are outstanding and Innovo gets our highest recommendation.

Where to begin...Kurt Tugman and his team are remarkable and a rarity in South Texas. I finally found a contractor who not only delivers what is promised but goes above and beyond to make sure my expectations are met. I have hired him for 3 projects: complete master bath reno (it now has that luxury spa feel I have always dreamed of), my new wine room (converted an old game room into a space I now spend all of my time in), and recently my master bedroom (I feel like I can finally sleep the night away because it is just that nice). Definitely recommend Innovo for all of your dream home needs. They really are something else!

I paid him $1500 for a plan with specs and an estimate that he said I could use for another estimate elsewhere. we discussed what i envisioned in great detail. He made many notes and i drew a rough diagram of it. after many unanswered calls he brought me a computer diagram that was completely wrong and no specs with a ridiculous estimate. I said never mind after two attempts and asked for a estimate to remodel the bath. He once again missed the mark completely. He also only gave me credit for $1100 of the $1500. I told him id let him know. He called a few days later. asking for the $5500 down to start monday i told him my wife was just hot and killed i wasn't going to do it he asked again? In shock at just seeing my wife die an hour earlier i screamed no just send me my money. I never got it. he hs ignored my calls.

Kurt/Innovo did an outstanding job, and he was extremely responsive and professional throughout the entire process. I would definitely use him again for any future projects.

He came by for an estimate. Was very professional, measured everything, checked and double checked that he got all the requested work, and told me he'd write up an estimate. A week and a half and two emails later, no estimate at all.

I was told I would receive a quote the following day. A week went by with no contact. I attempted to call, email, and even sent a message through this service. I have yet to receive a response. Very disappointed in the levels of professionalism. I don't suggest using this company.
