I have an old house and it has been my experience that it is hard to find decent and honest companies. Dwain McCain Plumbing Inc is a hard working company that is reliable, honest and decent. Really impressed with the responsiveness and professional service. Mario and Jarred were very courteous, went right to work and impressed me with the quality of services they provided. I was called when the plumber was on the way to my home, and called if there was a delay. The work was performed accurately and in a most workmanlike manner. Our plumber was extremely courteous, helpful, and very professional throughout the entire process. Will always use them as my go-to - especially Mario, who is the absolute best! It's a company that has been around Corpus Christi for a long time. We respect them. They were on time. Showed up when they said they would. They charge a reasonable rate. I would use them again.

Just like all the other contractors in a hurricane damaged area. Charged me 16 hrs labor (8x2) for maybe an hour and a half of work. (I live in Houston with work being performed in Port Aransas couldn't be personally monitored. I took the fact that they had good ratings on Angie's list as a good sign and feel raped.

All jobs were successfully completed. Some workers were good; one was excellent. There were problems with assessing a future job, but I'm sure they can be clarified. The company was very responsive when I had an urgent Sunday need for service. I will use them again, and I recommend them to others.

They showed up on time, wen't right to work and did a great job. Great customer service.

Prompt, very efficient and very professional. I had purchased the caulking I wanted to use to match color, and for low odor. They had no issues with using my materials. The results look great.

It went well. Mario and Robert were very good. You have to be willing to wait because they are so busy, especially on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The plumber, Mario, did a great job installing the supply lines and faucet. My low score is not an indication of his service; it is reflective of a problem with the company's dispatcher's lack of concern for customers. The scheduled appointment (8:00am on Thursday) was scheduled the previous day. I explained to the dispatcher that I would be without water until their plumber arrived on Thursday morning. She explained that since the plumber lived in the same town (Orange Grove) as our home, he'd come out before driving into work in Corpus. When I called Thursday morning to see where the plumber was, she laughed that she forgot to tell him about the service call. She mentioned she would send him back to Orange Grove right away. Thirty-five minutes later, when I called her back to get an ETA. I was told that he had not returned to Orange Grove but had gone on another job to stop a flooding at someone's house. She asked, "Would you rather let someone's house flood so that we could get your problem fixed?" I assured her I WOULD NOT rather see someone's house flood but would have appreciated a courtesy call to let me know the situation. I spoke to the plumber when he arrived and he expressed it is a great company and that they've been around for many years. I was impressed with his attitude and the fact that he raved about what a great company he works for. I'd use them again if I had a plumbing problem. Good luck! Jim McNeill

We are having foundation work done on our home. There was a cracked sewage line from our toilet that was holding up the repairs. All we needed was a temporary patch so the foundation job could be completed. Every plumber we called couldn't make it out for few days, which would have put us over a week behind on a foundation job that was already running into issues because of the weather. Initially McCain plumbing couldn't make it out, but a few minutes after I hung up with them, they called back and said they would be able to come out same day! They showed up on time and put our foundation job back on track. I just booked them for the permanent repair job.

They did great work and were punctual and professional. I won't use another plumbing company!

The work was performed professionally, punctually and very close to the estimate given to me over the pone, barring any unforeseen complications. They cleaned up after the work was completed and there have been no leaks. Very happy with work performed and their friendly, professional attitude.

Oscar and Oscar were efficient and did a great job. The stoppage was cleared and they had me run water inside to be sure that it was really clear. Very impressed with the service. I called in the morning, received a call back a couple hours later saying the guys were on the way.

Their availability is really good but they're full because they're one of the better plumbing companies. They have a 24 hours emergency service if you need them. They're excellent service, he came out took pictures of my old unit and he tole me to give him a couple of days for him to get a new one and there was no problem. I spent $400 for the heater and installation.

They never came. They never even called me back to say we're so busy we aren't going to be able to help you or something.

I am not a plumber so i do not know what all the equipment is called they used but they were quick and proficient. I have used McCain plumbing off and on for many years and have always been satisfied with their service.

They have always been great and I would always use them.

I have used McCain Plumbing for over a decade. On the occasions when they have provided a competitive bid, they have been the lowest price. Based on this experience and my many experiences in the past, I can say that they have been honest, responsive, and fair in their pricing. In this case, I discovered that there was a leak in the gas line from the meter running to my home. They had to dig through my yard by hand since there were irrigation pipes, drainage pipes, and electrical pipe running thorugh the area. As usual, they did the job as promised, on time, and at the budget I was quoted. Without hesitation I would recommend McCain plumbing to everyone.

They came within 2 hours of the call and cleaned the line out. Nothing worse than a backed up sewer so I was glad to get it taken care of so quickly.

Tech called and said no one at house, and there was no leak. He was at wrong house, and wouldn't come back. Reached...they were 4 hours late and then wanted to charge overtime for services due to being late in the day. Would not recommend!!!

A slow drain finally became a plugged drain on Christmas Day. Unscrewing the pipes under the kitchen sink revealed that the pipes in the immediate area were clear. I called McCain on Christmas night to leave a message asking for service and someone picked up the phone to respond to my call. Next morning we received a call that a plumber would be out within an hour to assist. Four hours later I figured I had better ask about the status of our call. Mrs McCain spoke with me and apologized about the mis-communication and told us that plumbers had returned from a job and were available to come to our house. Once in the house, the plumber and apprentice spent over 90 minutes working the snake back and forth as the plug was very hard. Finally, the plug released into the drain. The money spent was well worth the service provided.

Partly my fault, I had water all over my floor, and I called the wrong type of technician . I figured a plumber could replace a busted hose. He said no that I should have called an appliance repair place. All of this tool him about 7 min. My bill was 120.00. The sad thing about this is that I was a long time customer of Mr McCain. I would have been glad to pay 60.00 or so for their 7 min of time. But 120.00 is just plain NOT VERY NICE. I am now in the market for a new plumber. I think McCain Plumbing is very expensive. I just could not do that to someone. I will say the guy that was here was very nice, and he was apologetic when he gave me that bill. He said he called his dispatcher and thats what they told him to charge me and that he was sorry.

I called the company and complained. I told them that I had assumed (based upon what their employees told me) that the poor flushing in our toilet was related to a significant leak beneath the foundation. The management said they wanted me to be happy. They replaced our toilet with a better one, and adjusted our bill down to $2000. I was treated with respect and concern. We left on good terms. While $2000 is a lot to pay for a good-flushing toilet, I assume the camera work was one employee's mistake. McCain has a good reputation, and I don't think my case is the norm.

I've used them like five different times. They're an excellent company. They've always done an excellent work. They have solid plumbers there. They're a dependable company, honest, quality work and reasonably priced.
