Mike Drum is the real deal. He understands instinctively how to execute a job from start to finish with quality and efficiency. I hunted for two years for someone who could address a water heater and vent system that was out of code, dated and unsafe. He and Raul worked vigorously and efficiently and, within a few hours we were looking like a million bucks and ready for inspection. It was a tricky situation but these gentlemen knocked it out of the dark. Plus, the quote was best I had seen. We're so very grateful.

Mike Drum is a really nice man, he is a member of my wife's church. He has come to the house several times, he is just a really nice man, he is very straight forward and laid back. He does the work and nothing more. No up-selling with him.

I had used drum prior to this call and Mike was a likable guy and did the work required at a fair price. This time my dishwasher would not drain properly. So I called Mike and he sent Robert over to check it out. Robert was willing to proceed but suggested that I contact an appliance repair service with experience working on my LG Dishwasher. I really expected a bill for a service call but Mike aid to forget it. Really good people with a sound business ethic and a caring attitude towards clients which will give them a sound business future,

The water leak was diagnosed and located by the city water department. I contacted Drum Plumbing for repair on a Friday at noon. Plumber arrived in about an hour and excavated the leak. The leak was caused by a broken PVC Tee where the irrigation system branched off from the water line running from the water meter to the house. The repair required a 1.25" PVC fitting which the plumber had to purchase locally. All other materials were stocked on his truck. The whole repair, including pressure testing and cleanup was complete in 3 hours.

It went great. Very professional, nice guy, helped me get the gas to my home up and running. Very reasonably priced and came out on a Saturday night. A lot of others that I called told me to wait till Monday to get it fixed.

I called Drum Plumbing at about 3:45 p.m. on that afternoon. I had called Royal Plumbing a few minutes earlier because Royal had worked for us before and we had been very satisfied with their service but on this occasion that I called I was told there would be a very high surcharge for after hours work even though we had been a previous customer so I decided to keep looking and by chance called Drum Plumbing. I reached the plumber by phone and he told me he had just completed his last job and was available. I asked if there would be an after hours surcharge and he said no so I said come on over. The plumber, Mike, arrived in about fifteen or twenty minutes and I showed him that both our toilets wouldn't flush and that water and debris was backing up into our tub. This is a bad situation to be in as you can imagine so you're really at the mercy of your plumber's after hours pricing if it happens to you. I was greatly impressed that he was willing to work later in the day without gouging me for more payment. Mike immediately suspected a main outflow drain blockage and the first thing he did was locate the outside access points to the sewer line. They were covered in soil due to a foundation job that had been done a few months earlier but he located the access and used a big machine that he has to rod out the entire line from the house almost all the way to the city main drain pipe in the alley. The work didn't take a real long time, probably thirty or forty minutes but it wasn't a real easy job especially with the access port being buried under a couple of inches of dirt to begin with. The machine pulled out several gobs of baby wipes which I had been flushing, two at a time, thinking that wouldn't clog the drain since they flushed easily. After he finished this he checked to make sure the problem was solved and sure enough, the toilets flushed again and the tub drained just fine. Of course, I had to completely disinfect the tub after he left but the problem of the blockage was fixed. I was so relieve that within about an hour and a half my horrible problem was completely fixed - for seventy dollars. He actually asked for sixty but I didn't feel that was fair so I went ahead and paid seventy, which, now that I think of it, is still too little for the work he did. This plumber could see that my family is on a tight budget and I really appreciate that he did so much and asked for so little in return. Well done, Mr. Drum. Well done. I will absolutely call Drum Plumbing in the future should I need a plumber and if he's not available, I'll wait until he is if I possibly can.
