At first, I was very disappointed with the result. The boards were crooked, the fence was not plumb, and the concrete that was placed in the holes to support the posts was a total mess. Howver, I contacted Mr. Crossland in the Corpus office. This is one man that GETS it! He listened. He didnt make excuses. He simply handled it. Keep in mind, I was angry and highly skeptical. I have dealt with one bad contractor after another & was prepared for yet another let down. Mr. Crossland maintained open communication, he let me vent and frankly, I said some very harsh, albeit truthful, things. A week later i had the beautiful fence I paid for! They replaced the warped boards, fixed the concrete mess & even added a railing "cap" along the top for no additional cost. It looks awesome! There are SOO many companies out there that could learn alot from D&C fence's commitment to customer service! I gave them a B because the first 6 months were so stressful and it took a few times before Mr Crossland stepped in. But the bottom line is this is a professional company that actually cares about customers!

Fence went fine, supposed to have a warranty, the fence post broke loose from the concrete which causes the fence to lean in less than 4 months and the gate posts have moved also.

Very professional from beginning to end. The workers were so respectful and friendly. The job was completely quickly and looks great. I had a few places where trees were grown in fencerow and they even cut those out. Great job.

This company was OUTSTANDING from the very beginning of getting a price bid, to winning the bid, and getting the JOB DONE. I Highly RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY and will most DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.. Oh my goodness, we were so impressed on their work ethics from the beginning of the project until the very end. SUPERIOR workmanship in the installation, promptness on the completion, and such a fantastic clean up job, you would have never known they were there by the cleanliness they made my yard look after the install. From start to finish, they were done in 2 days. Arriving each morning at 8:00 am and working in this hot South Texas sun, with very few breaks.. They took care around my plants and just did an outstanding job overall. "We are truly HAPPY with everything they did, beginning with the office work ( Nicole) who, in itself, was outstanding herself in keeping me informed with every step being performed. Folks, this company TAKES PRIDE in their work and only strive to PLEASE THE CUSTOMER. Need a fence installed, I would certainly CALL THEM... THANK YOU D & C for your care and work you did for us!!

They did an outstanding job. There was a problem during the installation that was a result of a miscommunication between workers, but they fixed it right away. If I needed any other type of fence I would definitely call them.

This company installs most of the fences in the neighborhood I live. I called twice to get a quote to install a 6 foot wooden privacy fence around my yard (probably a $5000 project). The person on the phone was extremely nice and promised to have a "salesman" call me back both times I called. Neither time was I contacted. Very disappointed considering the size of this company. Apparently they aren't looking for work.

When we bought our house they initially quoted us to build a wooden fence around our backyard - which they did quickly. When the seller didn't bite, we bought the place anyway and had them extend some parts of the chain link in the backyard. They did it quickly, for a fair price and financed 50% of it. Good quality fence too.

Installed an eight foot wood privacy fence around large property with six foot vinyl across the front. Used top quality lumber and products. Secured those posts in the ground like nobody's business. Contractors were smart and helpful. They even figured out how to fence around a tree that leaned onto the adjacent property. Arrived when they said that they would and kept me informed through the whole process. Very professional -- arranged to see the property the day after I called and emailed a detailed estimate with various sizes and options within two days.

They were fairly competitive with the other ones. I just kind of got along better with the guy from another fencing company. The quote was $10,000. The other fencing company built the fence of one of our neighbors, and he did a real good job. That kind of sealed the deal. They were a little less expensive.

The service man was not very warm or friendly. He was brisk and businesslike, which I guess is ok for some people but not someone I want to do business with. He insisted that there would have to be an upcharge for cutting pickets down to four foot tall in front of house even though it just takes a skil saw to do so. Not too much labor there; could have done it myself if I bought the tool. When I finally received an estimate via email, it was almost $2000 more than other estimates I had received. I had questions about the high price so I called to speak directly with the service man about the price and he basically informed me that they were expensive because they used expensive hardware and pickets. Would not recommend this company based on the very high price and short attitude of service man.

Excellent job overall. Richard Hanner was very helpful in detailing the specifics of what type wood, nails and posts would be used. Especially like the quality of the new fence. They used three rails instead of two and used 16 foot top rails where possible instead of 8 foot ones which prevents sag as the fence ages. Nice to see quality work for a change. One thing, it was hard to get an exact start date from Richard due to the jobs his crews are working on. This makes it difficult for the property owner since I have to let my neighbors know when the fence is being replaced so they can keep their pets inside. There were four neighbors to keep informed. Will definately use again. RAM

While the technician was competent and friendly, the bill certainly wasn't.

I spent less than $500 on the job. They are a big fencing company in my town. I have used them for longer than 10 years. I have had used them for jobs which cost about $10,000. They do quality work at a competitive price. Usually, it is the same people who come out to do the work. I would use them again.

My husband wasn't happy about something. I think he said that some braces should have been put up because of all the wind we have in Corpus Christi but they weren't put up. It looks good to me. The price was reasonable. It was just one guy and he was here all the time. I didn't see any problem with it but my husband probably wouldn't use them again.

The quote was astronomically high. It took a while for them to get the quote back to me. So I would recommend not to use them. Whenever I did get the quote back, it was high. I would not use them again in the future.

They were supposed to give me an estimate and it took them a little while to give that estimate and when I received the estimate it was kind of outrageous. They quoted $6500 and I ended up getting the job done for $4500. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

I was vry pleased with their service and will use them again.

Contacted sales department by phone and a salesman came the nest day...I had two bids from him to do two separate fences not knowing if I was going to get the whole job done at one time..I called back and wanted to do the whole job at one time. the fence was removed and new post set the first day and the fence installed the second day as promised and at the price quoted..

Not well, i was very frustrated to hear the price.

I thought that it was easy to have this company work for me. They were careful of my property and plants. They used high quality materials and the installation was solid. I knew that they were always there and working to get the job done. I've had lots of compliments on my fence from my neighbors.
