AJ's Repair and Services

I picked up the mower on Feb 14th. When the mower was taken out of my car, I noticed that the screw on the starter switch had been over-torqued so the switch casing was cracked. I called AJs and explained what I found. The clerk said that a switch would be ordered and replaced at no charge, and I would be called when the switch arrived. Around the middle of March, it was time to mow the grass. The mower was difficult to get started, but I finally got it started. I noticed a dangling cable under the engine. When I turned off the mower to take a break, I could not get the mower started again. So I returned to AJs with the mower. I told the person what happened, and he told me that they wouldn't be able to get to my mower for a few days because they had commercial equipment that had priority. At this point, I asked for the owner. I explained everything to him, and he made them check it immediately. The loose cable was fixed, the switch was replaced, and I was told it started fine.........I am still having problems starting this mower if I turn it off to take a break.

AJ and his staff have been in the small engine repair business for years. I called them and inquired about getting my lawn mower fixed. The woman who answered the phone was very professional and direct. I took the mower in and she said it would be a two week wait before they could give me an estimate. It was early spring and realized that everybody had waited till they needed to mow to get their mower fixed. Two weeks later the mower had gone through a major tune up and AJ's techs made sure it was correct before I left home. AJ's is a stand up business that really helps the small engine owner. They are direct and don't skimp on service. Most people today wouldn't even think of going to get a mower fixed, they would buy a new one. Great job AJ's
