They were real professional and fast. They were very reasonably priced. I’ve recommended them to my neighbors as well.

We had used Southeast Texas Trees in the past and had been satisfied with their work. I called to schedule an appointment to have trees trimed that were hitting my house and explained that I did not need an estimate first since I had used them in the past, knew their prices were satisfactory and only needed branches trimmed. An appointment was scheduled on July 12th between 9 and 12 wich was the day it rained 7+ inches. No one showed up (which was understandable due to the amount and duration of the rain), BUT no one called to reschedule. "I" called and rescheduled for August 3rd between 9 and 12. About 11:00 on August 3rd "I" called to reconfirm that they would be here (since it was getting really close to 12:00 and I had not received a call asking for directions, telling me they were on their way, etc.). They answered and stated they had removed me from the schedule because they didn't have any information. They stated they could reschedule me for a third time. I said no, it was not my fault they didn't have any information (they could have simply called their receptionist/schedule,r or even called my phone number I had provided when I scheduled, or simply show up at the address I had provided). I said I would call another tree service. Due to their lack of initiation and lack of professionalism I would rate them an "F". I gave them a second chance by calling and rescheduling after they did not show up or call for the July 12 th appointment. I will not waste my time again wondering if they will show up for a scheduled appointment.

Fantastic!!!!!! I would use them again in a second. These guys make removing a tree look easy. They cleaned up after themselves. They were quick and efficient. It was a pleasure watching them work.

They were great. They did a good job. They just did what they said they were going to do. We had a couple of estimates, and they were the best one we got.

I used this company yearly. They make sure everything is back from the roof and they remove dead limbs. They are very efficient, they come out and are on time. When the crew comes out, they do a good job and they clean up, and make it look like they've never been there.

Cut down large water oak in my backyard that had died due to drought. Crew showed up on time, got the tree down safely and without damage to my house, neatly stacked large limbs and chipped smaller ones into mulch for my use just as requested. However, their stump grinder took over 3 weeks to show up due to repeated accidents/equipment problems. I would hire them again to trim/fell trees, but find someone else to have your stumps ground down.

They were to arrive early that morning, but only half of the crew came and so they waited until the other crew members arrived. There were many trees to take down that day and when everyone finally arrived it was mid-morning. They started preparing for the first tree they were to take down. It was a large pine next to a board fence. So they proceeded to hammer the boards away from the posts splitting one of the boards before I ran out of the house to stop them. We had never previously discussed taking any boards down, so was quite upset they were doing this as these thick fence boards are no longer available for purchase as the owner of the company retired and the company is no longer in business. They could easily drop the tree in another direction without removing fence boards. I was constantly having to monitor work as things were not going well. They left the majority of the trunk in tact and dropped that whole trunk which was close to the house causing the entire house to vibrate. The fellow driving the Bob Cat was making ruts in the drive which is white washed 1" rock. He had a flat and the tire leaked an oil like fluid on the rock, so to avoid more damage, I ran inside to get something to cover the ground before it leaked out badly and made a huge puddle all over the rock. I still have the ruts in the drive from the Bob Cat spinning around on the stone drive. Because of the drought, I asked the workers not to smoke after one had flipped a cigarette butt in the dried grass. One continued to smoke as when I was walking around, there was another cigarette butt in the dried grass. This was a great concern. I had planted an evergreen bush almost 30 years ago which through the years grew to be quite large, but was now turning brown but still had some life left. I walked up to the area where this evergreen bush was planted and where the crews were now working. The evergreen had been removed to make way for the Bob Cat to carry branches from an area. I was stunned. When I asked why they took it out, the crew person said, "I pulled on it and it came right out". On closer observation the chain saw was used to cut it as there were four roots sizes 21/2" to 51/2" in diameter. They never consulted the homeowner before proceeding. This was the second time to use this company, and the first time the crew did a good job, but one of the crew members gave me concern, So in all fairness, I wanted to try them again, but this is the last time I will call them for work. Looking back, they may not have realized this was going to be written up on an Angie's List report. But at the end of the day, all crews should be diligent in their efforts to produce quality work.

They arrived with a crew of 7 and went right to work. They finished everything including the cleanup in 90 minutes. They exceeded my expectations on the trimming also and did a great job. If you have trees in Houston killed by the drought, this is the place to call.

They have only come out once and performed the job that we wanted. We spent between $300 and $500 for their services. They were punctual. The estimate was a good estimate and they stuck to that. I wasn’t here when they actually came out and did the trimming. They came on the day they said they were going to come. When I got home that evening, the work was done to my satisfaction. They did a good job and the clean up was good as well. There were no complications at all. I would recommend them to others and I will call them again.

This was a follow up visit as a result of using another company to perform the same job last year. The other company not only missed removing these dead limbs, but destroyed another tree in the front yard. Southeast Trees removed all the dead limbs, cleaned up all the debris, showed up on time and performed their task in a professional manner.

We have used them for years. They are good and fast. They clean up absolutely everything and there is nothing left. There is no mess whatsoever. They are very careful to make sure that they don't damage your house or the flowerbeds. They are excellent.

They quoted us $350. We used a coupon from the Internet for $50 and so it costs us only $300. They were very good. They were very professional. They broke our post where the gate closes. They repaired it and put a new one at their expense. The guy who gave us the estimate was very informative and very professional. We would use them in the future.

Ryan returned my call within an hour of calling them. He scheduled a walk through the next day, and delivered a very competitive quote. I mentioned the Angies List coupon after he gave me the quote, and he just reduced the price by that much, no problem at all. We agreed to have his crew come out the following Tuesday to perform the work. They arrived a little ahead of schedule and got right to work. The tree trimming, especiallly opening up 2 live oaks in front yard was done beautifully. The trees are all much happier now, and are shaped to develop a great canopy. They had to climb a couple of trees to cut large dead branches left behind by Ike, and did so with full safety gear and hard hats. I spoke with Ryan about the crew doing some additional clearing of some overgrown yupon on the side of the yard, and when the original job was complete, they did the extra work for a minimal upcharge. They filled their truck and a large trailer with all the trimmings and stumps - it was a big load. They cleaned up afterwards, even raking the areas where small branches had fallen. I was very happy with the crew and the job they did. I will recommend them to my neighbors and call them again.

I got a free estimate from these guys and made a subsequent appointment to have the work done. Their price was the best and they came highly recommended by a professional who uses them for subcontracting work on a popular golf course. They showed up on time to do the work. Performed all of their obligations without a hitch, cleaned up the big mess, and left me highly pleased with their level of expertise and ethics. Tree removal is highly risky, both to people and property. While witnessing some of their work literally took my breath away, I was never overly anxious about the outcome as they appeared to be completely in charge of felling giant trees and know what they were doing. I would call them back in a heartbeat for any future work that I might need.

We had an appt for 10/11/10. Since nobody showed up at the appointed time I called and was told that they were on their way, encountering heavy traffic on I-45. After another 45 min of waiting I was told that the truck broke down and we re-scheduled for Monday, 10/25. Again, they were over an hour late. Once they were here, however, they were very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and did a very good job. One of the 4-man crew climbed up the very tall Pine Trees in no time and cut down the dead branch. they took great care to secure the climber and also tied the branch to be cut to be able to lower it slowly to the ground. The job was $700.00 and I did receive the $50.00 credit off the coupon in Angies List. Thank you. they did an excellent job in cleaning up and raking every little twig that had fallen down. The job itself they did was excellent. I just wish they would say immediately 10:30AM and then be there instead of promising for 9:00 AM and then coming with things like heavy traffic and truck breaking down.
