They were excellent. Price was exceptional. That was also grinding the stumps too. Trimmed two existing trees that we did not take out.

Excellent results. Best estimate out of three solicited. The crew arrived exactly on time. Crew foreman introduced himself and asked to see the trees to be removed. Total of four crew. The crew member who climbed and cut the trees was an outstanding master at his work. He worked quickly and safely at all times using tie offs and guide lines. The crew competed their work and cleaned and removed all debris.

Ryan submitted the lowest bid and promised to put the greatest number of workers on the job. Everyone showed up for work as promised. A total of nine workers was involved in removing the trees and grinding the stumps. The work started at 10:00 am and was finished at 5:15 pm. Everyone was diligent, experienced, and worked well with one another. One of the trees was very large and near the house. It required the most effort, skill, and cooperation from the crew members. There were no mistakes, no accidents, and no complications. At the end of the day two truck-loads of chips and one truck-load of logs were removed. The yard was raked and the debris from the stumps was spread about.

One of the largest trees I have fell over due to wind and crushed 50 feet of my fence. It made a big mess. They came and cleaned it up and cleaned up the effected trees around it up they were through with everything in 2 hours. They did a class A job. They were superior in their efforts and courteous and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. There was a sizable piece of the trunk in my neighbors yard and they retrieved that as well without being invasive.

Called on the Friday before and set it up for the following Wednesday--they said they would be here in "the morning". By Tuesday afternoon when I had not heard from them, I called to get a more specific time and was told it would be after 11:00, before lunch. The crew of 4 arrived at 11:30. The tree was over 30 feet tall and hollow, so they could not climb it, and had to drop it across the road in front of the house. They did a great job managing traffic, getting the tree down, and cutting it up and carting it all away. They cleaned up meticulously--even cleaned off the leaves from the sidewalks and driveway that were not related to the tree. I would recommend them and will probably use them again.

Although it took 6 hours to bring down the big oak in the front yard, they were careful to not damage the house directly under it. I was really impressed with how quickly they cleared the small horse paddock of tallow trees and tall weeds - just 45 minutes! I intend to call them again when I need another horse paddock cleared out and more trees trimmed or removed..

Ryan came by to look at my yard, and we discussed the work that I required. He gave me a very reasonable price, much lower than the others, and I would've been hesitant, except for all the glowing reviews on Angie's List. So I hired Southeast Texas Trees, LLC to do the work. The crew showed up when expected, and got right to work, after a short, preliminary discussion to be certain that we both knew what was expected to take place. I watched the entire operation, off and on during their time here. They were very quick, obviously skilled, and quite friendly. They wasted no time in getting to work, and in less time than Ryan had estimated, were finished and were cleaning up. And, they cleaned up quite well; picked up all, or most all, of the debris, blew off the roof, yard and driveway, and hauled off what they didn't chip in their machine. Overall, the result was a noticeable improvement, and my yard looks much cleaner and uniform, and I'm no longer worried about large, dead branches falling on my cars. Thanks, guys!

Southeast TX Trees was the lowest of three quotes (All A rated on Angie's). They arrived at about 9 on the agreed upon date & after I reviewed with the crew what I wanted done they got right to work. While taking down the trees & trimming others they did a great job of not damaging anything. All debris was removed. I am very satisfied with the job that they did & would readily use them again.

I ended up calling a different service since I never got a call back.

I was charged a day rate and they trimmed and removed trees. I don't think they needed a whole day but the pricing couldn't be beat.

They did a good job and were very professional. He did miss our first appointment but he was very honest about the situation which I appreciated. He was able to come out immediately to help.

This company was great! They came out right away to give me an estimate. The estimate was very reasonable - $1000 for three big trees to be cut down and $50 per stump ground. They threw in an existing small stump we had for free! The guys showed up around 10am to cut the trees down and were gone by 2pm. You couldn't even tell they had been there; that's how clean they left our yard! Very professional and quick! The stump grinder guy came the next day and ground the stumps in less than an hour and then was on his way. The company then followed up with me within an hour of the stump grinder leaving to make sure everything went fine and I was happy. I will definitely use them in the future and highly recommend them!

I contacted two tree services off Angie's List to get an estimate and date of service to grind a stump in our backyard. The service needed to be done on Friday or Saturday due to concrete being poured on Monday that would have blocked the entry to the back yard. Southeast Texas Tree Service said, (per Ryan) they could come on Friday between 3:00 & 4:00pm. Great so I went with the company that could come the earliest. Well around 3:15pm on Friday I get a call they need to reschedule for Saturday around noon. Ok we make it noon on Saturday. I wait till noon and I have a no show. I call Ryan around 12:40 and ask when they intended on getting here and Ryan says, Oh, I meant to call you our equipment broke down and we will need to reschedule. Now remember I had to call them to find this out. So I found another tree servaice on Angie's list. I would expect better from a company listed on Angie's list.

Very well. All three appointments as planned; crews courteous and responsive. Clean up was very good. Highly recommend service. It was also great to receive a senior discount saving me $190.00 for the job!

This was my second time using them in the past three months, but at a different location. Again, they were very polite and professional and showed up when they were supposed to. They did a great job removing this tree, which was in a tight spot between two houses and growing up through the branches of a large oak tree that I didn't want to damage. They removed the tree, ground the stump, and cleaned up so well I wouldn't have known they were there if I hadn't gone out and looked at where the tree was. No damage to the other tree either. I've been very impressed with them and will definitely use them again.

From first contact via email from their web site...excellent service, communication, professionalism, clean up. Highly recommend. We will use again and will certainly refer to our neighborhood. Paid by phone with credit card after all work was completed to our satisfaction, and was immediately emailed a company receipt. We said we we would have preferred to have more of the stump grindings removed. They said, "No problem we will send a truck back within the next two days and take care of that, and is there anything else we can do for you?"

They gave me an accurate quote and were basically courteous. They discussed the options with me as to what work has to be done now and what has to be done later. Their pricing was excellent and they provided very good service. They walked through everything while I stood out there and did everything that I requested them to. They wrote everything down, wrote up an accurate quote, showed up on time and cleaned up well after they were done with the work. They also did everything safely and I did not have to worry about them falling of trees or anything like that. They completed the work which I needed them to do within half a day. After they were done, I could not even say that they were here. I have already recommended them to a couple of friends.

I didn't get the estimate or the job done by this company. I called this company because I needed a huge hedge trimmed or taken out not sure which till I get an estimate. I called them because they came up as being in my area. Left message. They called back a few hours later. He asked me what I needed done I told him a hedge trimmed or taken out. He asked where was I .. told him he said.. Sorry ..too small a job...and too far. He did not ask me how large the hedge was or how long the hedge was...just said NO. No discussion no more questions. THAT is not Professional I don't believe...he was rude.......

2 chain saws, a bobcat and three capable strong men showed up on time to cut down dead trees. They cut some up that had already fallen They piled them up for burning, which I will do later. They cleaned up a 2 acre pasture that had a mess of dead and dying trees on it. Some had fallen on the fence lines, they cleaned those up too.

We originally called for a quote to have two dead trees cut down and removed. They met me at our lot that day and gave me a quote which was less than I expected. We scheduled the tree removal for the next week. When they arrived, our neighbors already had someone else cutting down the trees. The other company left the cut up trees there so I called Southeast Trees back and they were kind enough to go and pick up the trees that day for us for a very fair price. Will definitely use them again if needed!

Excellent service. They arrived on time, and did the job quickly. The stump grinder came a couple of days later, and took less than 20 minutes to complete the job.

I called yesterday at 4 p.m. to have them remove a tree that had fallen. I was able to make an appointment for this morning. I needed some other trees trimmed also. They gave me an estimate over the phone and told me someone would be here between 10 and 12. They showed up at 10:15!! The team started looking everything over and made a comment that the quote might have been too low with all the work being done. When I talked to the office, the team had already talked to the boss and they had agreed to stand by their original phone estimate. We mutually agreed to raise the estimate slightly based on the fact that I thought the original estimate had been low. I was very impressed with the work that was done and the friendliness of both the office staff and the team that worked on the trees.

Very disappointing! I called to set up an appointment for someone to come to check out the trees in my yard. I reached the company's voicemail, left a detailed message and my phone number with a request that they call me to set up an appointment. I am still waiting to get a phone call from them. Since I found another company that was very responsive, well-priced, and highly professional, I see no reason to further trouble this company!
