Most companies don't bother to respond if they know that they are not going to be doing business with you. Very professional organization!

Description of Work: Pumped two septic systems, a new 1500 gallon aerobic system (first time pumped) and thirty year old 500 gallon conventional system .

 + -1 moreA fairly simple septic pumping request has now turned into drama, as we use propane for heat, hot water or cooking. I am not sure who is at fault here - Sepco for rupturing the line or the generator installation company for putting the propane line over the septic - but as with most things, all of the bad decisions of these and quot;licensedand quot; contractors ultimately fall on the home owner. I do think that if you damage someone's property, you should do the right thing and work with them to get it fixed, don't just throw up your hands and say and quot;it's not my fault.and quot; For that reason, I am giving this contractor a low grade. And I thought other prospective customers should have the facts.
Description of Work: Sepco came out with a truck and crew (a man and two younger boys) to pump our septic tank. A few minutes after beginning to pump, the man comes to the front door and tells my wife that he has punctured the propane gas line and turned off the propane tank to stop the leak. He uses a big sharpened rebar probe to search for the tank under the ground and in so doing ruptured a new propane line going to our standby generator. The man says the propane line should not have been placed there and thus he claims no responsibility for damaging it. I told him to stop work. He pumped what he had already pumped back into our tanks, cleaned up and drove off.
