Riverside Lawn & Landscape

Everything went well. We spent a lot of time discussing options/ideas for our yard and the plans were drawn up and delivered in a timely manner.

Ultimately, it didn't go well. It took him months to provide the plans, and that was only after I had bugged him repeatedly to do so. Once he did provide the designs, he then tried to rush me into scheduling the work. Because of these issues and my dissatisfaction with his plans in general, I chose to find another company for the job.

It didn't go. I do not consider a little pencil drawing as a suitable submission for a complete backyard makeover. I might as well have thrown $99 in the trash. He did not listen and did not prove that he knew what he was doing. Also did not provide examples of previous work.

After 8-9 days with no response, I tried to call Riverside (Matt). I had both the telephone and email address. I called at least 8-10 times on 3 different phones starting at 8 am in the morning and continued until 7 pm at night. All answers were by message machines, no email responses. The next day I called Angie's List and told this story and was treated very professionally and politely. The next day after I called Angie's List, Matt (Riverside) called me and set up an appointment. He came as promised and brought 2 regular sized drawings (on 8.5 x 11 paper) The drawings were not to scale and were small enough to have been emailed. He was very polite but could not answer several questions presented by my wife. Also the price seemed high for the service. Our issues were: -He said he could not email the drawings which was not true -He would not respond to 8-20 calls and voice mails, and emails until I contacted Angie's List -He seemed overpriced and he neither mentioned nor showed us any credentials or formal education or certification as a landscaper. Summary-a nice enough guy who has more business than he wants so he is not worried with customer service. Also no assurance of his credentials as a a landscaper.

Contact was made immediately after purchase of my deal. The provider could not schedule my appointment in my time frame.

Prompt and cleaned everything up. Did an extremely good job and I am more than pleased with the work and the price.

These guys are terrific! They came at exactly the time they said they would with 3 men to do the work. They worked straight through for over 2 hours and they did GREAT!! They cleaned up the driveway and the street when they were finished and left everything perfect. I highly recommend Matt and his business.....................marcy, Spring, Tx

The did a great job, exactly as promised, mulching our large yard.

First visit went ok, very personable. Said he would design something for us and return the following week. I had to call him and ask when he was coming out, that he said he would be out the following week and did not show up or call. He made an appointment for the following Wednesday and showed up on Tuesday instead. The plan was very general, not what I expected, the back yard was not detailed at all. Fair service at best.

The job was cancelled by myself.

Scheduling was very good. The service was great. He was just wonderful to work with. I would definitely refer him to others. I have not moved forward with the service but I definitely call him in the future.

We were very happy with the communication from Riverside. We received either a phone call or e-mail updating the status of our appointment promptly. Actually, I was not able to be at home on our scheduled service date, so my husband agreed to be available when Riverside arrived. He was unexpectedly called away before the scheduled time. Based on instructions from our previous communications, the job was satisfactorily done in our absence

The cost would be over $10,000 to landscape my property. He said it would be cheaper if I utilized smaller plants. He was very professional and very nice, but I think this work could be done for about $3000.00. 10k to 20k is just too expensive. No work was done, and at that cost it won't be. I also wasn't impressed with the layout of the plants, and types he was suggesting.

The owner is very knowledgeable, friendly, willing to take time to explain and answer questions. When I hadn't received my drawing of suggested work after a week, I called. He responded quickly and came out in the next day or two. The verbal knowledge and advice were great. My only disappointment was that the drawing was not professional, just a rough sketch on tablet paper.

Fantastic service; I needed to additional yards for which I was charged $130. The total price was incredibly affordable for the quality of mulch received and the fact that I didn't have to spend an entire weekend to mulch my front and back yards!

He did was he was supposed to do and came back with the drawings. We were pleased and he was prompt.

Service was delayed due to weather conditions but otherwise everything went perfect. This company did an excellent job and we plan to use them again next year.

He came out and did the assessment but never gave me the plans. I was disappointed that there was no follow-up.

They were GREAT and the yard looks awesome. I have very large areas for mulching, thus the reason for what you might think is expensive. I felt it was very reasonable considering the amount of mulch that was needed.

It was a mediocre. It just didn't care for the plan, thought it was very pedestrian. There is nothing special about it. Everything was professional and good except for the fact that we just didn't care for the plan. He was fine, he did everything he was supposed to do, and we just didn't choose his plan. I don't know how to grade that frankly.

Very cooperative, allowing mulch to be split with my neighbor. Trouble-shot and repaired sprinkler leak.

We have a beautiful home on a corner lot and have lived there for more than 20 years. Two days later we received "yard of the month" for the first time from our community. Matt, the owner, is a good listener, followed the plan and did a beautiful job. We plan to have them do our back yard and patio some time in the near future. We are very pleased with their work. I give them an A+++.

We contracted with them to do the plans that they drew up for us. They came out several times to complete the plans after they had fullfilled the big deal. initially. We are satisfied with the final product, however.

Crew showed up and went right to work. Wasted no time and did a great job.
