It went fine, we really like Matt and are using them again soon. I would definitely recommend them.

We opted to go with somebody else. It was fine. We decided not to go with them just because of the cost. His quote was a lot more than we wanted to pay. He did give us good ideas, he was good.

Very good experience both times. Matt give estimate and performs work on time and first class workmanship. Matt is flexible and offers good ideas in response to our interests. Know trees, scrubs and plants and what is required for successful growth. Plan to use them for additional work.

They came in and offered me some things, but I was not really interested in it. They were very professional about it.

The total package was a 7 zone sprinkler system and landscaping the front of the house. It was a redo of stone walk and outdated flower beds and an additional flower bed that incorporated 3 pine trees a bird house and bird bath. The first meeting to plan the redo involved walking the yard with Matt listening . He offered suggestions with design, plants and materials. He got back with an estimate and a sketched design in a timely way. The whole crew was easy to work with and not satisfied until each stone, root, and blade of grass was just so. Matt took me step by step with operating the sprinkler system. He was informative and requested a call if any problems arose. I recommend Riverside Landscaping services .... My neighbors were very impressed and are using Riverside .. Thank you Matt ...

Everything went very well. I was expecting a little more work as far as grading of the yard, but was happy with the work that was done. It's been almost two months and the yard looks much better. We discussed other plans for the backyard and front yard. If we choose to do these things, I will be contacting Riverside again.

Service not provided. He said he didn't service our area and it was a little difficult getting the money back.

I called and spoke to Matt on the phone and he was very polite and professional. I needed to have my lawn mowed since we were going to be out of town. I called the 26th and he said someone would be out there Fri or Sat. I thought $50 seemed pricey but I needed it done since we would be gone and I was willing to pay it as I understand that the company needs to make money and I wasn't going to be signing up for weekly service. No one showed up or called to let me know they weren't going to come so I could schedule someone else. It was very disappointing to come home and see our lawn so grown over when I could have scheduled someone else if he would have just called to say he could not perform the service.

Provider hired to prepare a landscape plan, per the Angie's list promotional. He came to see the yard. We walked through it and I gave him specific input with respect to which areas needed planning, what types of plants I do and don't like (e.g., NO landscape grasses). His work product was a poorly executed drawing that (1) didn't address the key areas we'd identified for landscaping at all, (2) bore no semblance of similarity at all to the plants we discussed, (3) included plants that even I, as a non-professional gardener, knew were not appropriate for the sunlight in the areas for which they were recommended, and (4) was delivered over a month late and only after multiple messages left on his cellphone. The work product was unusable and a total waste of money. I will not use this merchant again, and I would not recommend that anyone else does, either.

They're great. I have used them more than once. He's very good. That was a deal and that's what it costed. He did what he said he's going to do. It was a great experience. It was beautiful. They did a great job. In fact, I had plants sitting in pots and they planted them even though I didn't ask them to and it's probably not where I wanted them.

Quick & firm estimate. Started a day early & finished on time.

Guys showed up and worked for awhile removing rocks. Job was left undone and they didn't come back to finish. I hired somebody else to complete the job. Would never use again.

Matt was very responsive and great to work with. He provided several options and examples for the type of stone and plants to choose from. He also took the time to educate me on how to prune existing trees and shrubs. My front yard now looks beautiful instead of an overgrown mess. I was amazed at what Matt's crew was able to accomplish in a day. Matt and I discussed tree removal and other ideas to redo our back yard to better meet our needs. I will definitely use his services when I am ready for that project.

I don’t recall there being any troubles with scheduling. He came out for an appointment initially to look around at landscaping and get our ideas. He came back in about a week to provide the plans and presentation. It turned out great!

We enjoyed working with Matt and his crew. Matt showed up on time for scheduled appointments, listened to our needs and gave us suggestions as to how the work could be done. We followed his advice on sidewalks for the backyard and are pleased with the finished product. His crew were very hard working and cleaned up, when the work was completed. We would definitely call Matt again, should we have any work that we needed done.

The light features are awesome, my back yard now has focal points and lots of 'WOW'. Matt was so easy to work with and I am very happy with the results! An extra + is that Matt was so kind to my dogs!!

The job was not done because the provider called a couple of hours prior to the delivery time to indicate that they don't serve our residential area.

Beautiful job. Always did what he promised. Always came on the day and time promised. Great crew. Very professional. Matt kept his word about everything he agreed to do. He had great vision and was a very professional and very nice person. We plan to have him back in the Fall for more work and will give his name to our friends.

We loved working with Matt and his crew. He made several trips to our house to discuss our needs, including drainage issues, submitted drawings, and a detailed estimate. He also agreed to work with us to phase in our total landscape plan over a year. We liked the fact that Matt did not do as many landscapers want to do, and that is to tear out all existing plant material and completely relandscape. He helped us to cut costs by using the existing plant material that we wanted to keep and incorporating with new plants or transplanted them to different spots. He listened to our ideas, our drawings and pictures, and included them all in the final project. He's good at solving various problem areas in the landscape, such as drainage issues, which no one else had been able to address satisfactorily. He crew was was very respectful of our property and cleaned up each day. They were eager to please us and asked for our input along the way. We were not charged for labor by the hour, but by the project, which was very helpful. Matt and his crew also did extra things for us without being asked or charging us, which is a rare thing, this day and age. We love the outcome and could not be happier with the results. We are enjoying our backyard for the first time in 15 years. No more drainage problems! We highly recommend Riverside.

Communication was exceptional. When performing the work, it was done quickly, efficiently and with such speed I barely knew they were here. I will go to this company first from now on when it comes to landscaping.

At frist meeting I was very pleased with Matt, he was very professional and pleasant to talk to, the quote was excellent so I decided to hire his landscaping company to cover the much needed landscaping needed. He came out twice and billing me $114. granted I have a very small front yard, a lawnmower can barely be used. The frist couple times, they trimed the Jasmine and cut the lawn, nothing was done in the back, or sides of the house. I called to get fresh muich put down, plants planted and weeds pulled but for two weeks in a row there was a no show, nor curtisey call to let me know. This is the 12 of May and still no new mulch or planting, I even agreed to go buy the palnts myself if they would plant them. I have since hired a New Landscaping company whom I hope works out better and can accomplish what needs to be completed. Matts business must be going well and I wish him the best, too much business is not a bad thing , but I need to also complete my landscaping. Matt was very polite and thorough! We really liked his suggestions and can't wait for the results. I have already referred Matt to 2 of my friends!!

In the beginning it was going great, but then turned out to be a HUGE disappointment with the customer service and support. Matt came out and we went over everything that needed to be done to correct and add to an existing issues that were from another landscape company. I spent quite a lot of money with a company that ended up "ripping me off". I explained to him that I wanted it done correctly because I was tired of getting screwed over by several other companies. He was very nice in the beginning and assured me he was better than the others. Well obviously...Did not turn out that way! I had some unexpected challenges with my new plants due to a end of season flash freeze , so I purchased more trees and flowers. They were supposed to install everything and adjust the sprinklers for the newly installed plantings.. I also had pre-purchase more flowers for the landscaping in the backyard that I had to repeatedly call to get them delivered and installed . The next month I had him put in drains and landscaping in the front yard. Everything was going fine UNTIL asked him to come out and fix the sprinkler that his crew put a shovel in and to adjust the ones in the plantings in the backyard so I would not lose them. I had to remind him several times he kept forgetting since I prepaid for them. I had new plants put in and could not water them until it was fixed..I finally after several texted go him to come out but he had a negative attitude we he finally came. I suppose having to make a trip back out when in fact had his crew been more careful and adjusted the sprinklers when they were here it would have not been necessary. I hired him also to mow and maintain my front and back yard--his guys showed up twice did a very sloppy half a...d job and then never showed up again. I texted and called Matt to find out if and when the mowing crew was coming and he never replied back! No acknowledgement at all. He got the landscape job and his money and then bailed out. THEY JUST NEVER SHOWED UP AGAIN! The drains he installed in the front yard did not solve my problem, I now have to hire another company to come out and re-do that! Also, 30% of the plants were bad and did not last a week --had to replace those also! He also installed cheap plants that I later found at Home Depot cheaper and healthier! I regret that there are so many companies out there that only want to get the dollars and the job initially but not interested in customer satisfaction or service. If you give him the job don't expect him to return your calls after you pay him.

I purchased the big deal coupon for this service and it was alright. The fellow was very nice. It took a long time to get a plan from him and when I did, the plan was okay to me. It wasn’t inspirational though. The price was great but it was the deal that I had. It was very good to pay so much to draw up a plan for me. He was really booked.
