Based on price and presentation we went with a different company.

We were very impressed by their ability to detect the problem and fix it, and were very pleased with the price!

met with Matt at the end of June to plan out a landscaping job in our back yard and front yard. Matt was very patient with me and always willing to meet with me on my days off from work to coordinate the landscaping for the end of August. He listened to what I wanted and gave good suggestions for plants that would work best in the flower beds. We had torpedo grass that was very stubborn and growing very heavy in our beds. Matt was able to kill this grass before putting in the landscaping. The 2 man team arrived in the morning and worked all through the day. They do a beautiful job in the back yard and in the front yard. I was very pleased with all the work they did.

The service was okay. I expected a little bit more than what I was provided, but it was sufficient given the circumstances. There were no additional fees to the $99 Big Deal. What stood out about my interaction with them was just the response time. I had to call back a couple of times to get them to where we could finally make contact and get things squared away. I would say that the cost was fine. They were on-time. I would probably not consider using their services again.

I received a response asking for my address and they said they would set up an appointment to talk prices. That was acceptable, so I gave my address and mentioned I was out of town for the following couple of days but they could come by and take a look if someone was going to be in the area. I received no follow up email after and no indication anyone was coming by to take a look at our yard. We chose to go with a service provider we saw in the neighborhood.

Matt was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. Very personable and easy to talk to.

Recently I hired Riverside Lawn and Landscape to design and install a sprinkler system at my home at 15513 Queen Elizabeth Ct., Montgomery, TX 77316. I would typically do this kind of work myself but I am not as young as I used to be and unable to physically manage a job this big. Matt McElfresh ( Owner of Riverside Landscape) and I had a few meetings and discussed what I wanted and how important it was to make sure my lawn did not have any lasting effects from this construction. I am very disappointed in the work quality, the timeliness of the work and the follow up work needed to complete the job. This work started in June and after numerous ignored calls, is still not complete. Unfortunate, I have paid Matt in full in the amount of $2400 and have no leverage so he will prioritize the work needed to complete the job. While issues during the work were constant, specifically making commitments on crews being on sight, using multiple crews some pretty good and some very bad, sloppy construction habits that left my yard messy, but the main thing I need completed now is repairing the sunken trenches created when the pipe was buried. As time goes on this issue become larger and larger as the dip as turned into a trench with rain and continues to go deeper and deeper as time and weather negatively impact it. While Matt has agreed that this needs to be addressed and has committed to do so the dates he committed to making this happen have long past and he has not answered any of my voice mails for the last three weeks?

Always punctual and professional. We will be awarding the work to him in the fall.

They came out and they did after a couple of weeks send us a proposal but their prices were just astronomical compared to like going and actually just buying it. They were charging about 3 times as much compared to others. They were professional and sent me a nice diagram. They did it within a couple of weeks of ordering so they did that timely. They did what they said, we just didn't buy it. We paid $99 for somebody to do a colored pencil drawing which if you use a cat machine, it wouldn't take you 5 minutes.

Not specific enough for me. He is knowledgeable. I was expecting a drawn to scale professional detailed landscape plan with specific products so that I could do it myself as my budget allowed which was not the case.

He did come out but never gave us an estimate for services because his company was not able to do the job.

Matt is very, very pleasant and professional. He developed a design which was very responsive to all of our preferences. His bid was also the lowest cost one that we got for our project.

I had to call several times to get a bid and also once I committed to the job, I had to follow-up and find out when the landscaper would be at my home. He was not punctual, he seemed very busy with another job and did not focus on my yard at all. I was surprised by the lack of professionalism and punctuality based on the reviews I had read. The owner was pleasant but I feel the quality of the plants he installed and the work on my water feature was not high quality. Several of the bushes died within 30 days and I had to call out an electrician to again work on the water feature after Riverside had completed their work.

They were professional. They did a good job. I had no issues with the service.

Matt has been great to work with,he is personable and knowledgable. He listens to what you want and recommends different possibilities. The landscaping looks great and I will be working with Matt in the future.

They service was ok and they laid some molt in the flower bed.

Came up with good solution to shady, swampy mud pit that the utility side of my house had become. Great price, came when scheduled, were so quiet people in the house didn't realize the job was completed. Would definitely use again.

We played phone tag for a while, but finally found out that he did not service my area. He was kind, but I just received a refund.

Could have not have performed their services any better. They arrived when scheduled, performed their job, cleaned up thoroughly and completely. Highly recommend.

Matt has been very proactive and responsive and shows up when scheduled. He has a good crew that cleans up after themselves which is way better than all the contractors that we had here building the house. He worked with me to find deer resistant, mostly native plants that I found and specified. After personally subcontracting our new house for over two years and being totally frustrated with contractors not showing up when scheduled, doing a poor job, billing incorrectly, just generally being poor business people, Matt has been a light at the end of a very long tunnel.
