Unfortunately, I am very late in writing this review. I would have to echo all the positive comments made for Bruce and his team. Very professional, extremely responsive and all for a fair price. They are far and away heads above their competition, and I had more than a few quotes. The lighting turned out to be just as I hoped and Bruce was extremely helpful in guiding me through the process in choosing what would achieve the desired result. He was very intuitive. The icing on the cake for me was that he is a veteran and I strongly believe in supporting those who have served.

They were incredible. They stuck to budget and price. I changed my mind about placement after it was done and they changed it with no issues. They are incredibly responsive and professional, and they are Army veterans so I was happy to support them. We had other companies come out to give us estimates but no one made us feel as comfortable as ProLight Outdoor Solutions.

if you are looking for a contractor to help plan and then install your outdoor lighting and you don't at least speak to ProLight - then you deserve the higher prices you will pay. ProLight was the third vendor I interviewed for our project. All interviewed, are on Angies list. All are reviewed positively. That said, after speaking w/ ProLight - the choice was obvious to me. Bruce, the owner was laser focused understanding our needs, walking us through the options, and then providing the highest quality product (exactly the same as the other more premium priced vendor) with the best installation procedures at by far the best price. While we had a general understanding of what we wanted…you sometimes have to see the lights in place to truly understand how the will look and the impact they will have on the space. Bruce installed them, at no charge and let us live w/ them for over 4 weeks - with no pressure on their part! During that time, his team came out at least 2xs to adjust, change filters, and move lights - even the ones installed at the top of the trees. In the end, we got exactly what we wanted at a significantly lower price. Never any pressure, never any hard sell. No question that I'll be using Bruce and ProLight again when we are ready to pull the trigger on the front yard. Again…if you are installing out door lights. Call Bruce. You can thank me later.

We hired Bruce for a lighting job in our back yard for a graduation party and were amazed with the results. He was very quick to know what we were wanting and completed the job much faster than expected, not only I was impressed but nearly everyone there made a comment on how beautiful they were. Bruce made sure that he did not leave until we were very pleased with the outcome and that it met his and our expectations. I would recommend ProLight, Bruce is very reliable and will deliver results above and beyond what thought possible in a reasonably priced and timely manner.

Bruce had serviced the sprinkler system for the previous owners, so we wanted to have him back to help us with repairing a leak. Spoke once on the phone, when he quoted a competitive price and stated he would have time to swing by in a few days. I had to confirm a few things and called him back, but was unable to reach him, so I left a voicemail telling him to come as discussed. He did not show up that day and has not returned multiple calls in the ensuing weeks.

On Thursday evening my SO accidentally punctured a sprinkler line while doing some landscaping. We needed it fixed ASAP since we were having new shrubs and trees planted the next day. I called several sprinkler companies and was told (by the ones that actually returned my phone call) that they would not be able to come out until the following week. I asked one of the higher rated companies to recommend someone else who they think may be able to come out the same day, and they gave me Bruce's number. I got very, very lucky. Bruce returned my call literally two minutes after I left a message on his phone explaining our situation. AND this was on a Friday at 3:30 pm!!! Bruce was very polite and professional on the phone. He told me that he had another job in the area, but he would be able to come and assess our sprinkler after that. He was true to his word. Bruce arrived at our house at about 5:30 pm, just two hours after we spoke, and promptly fixed the broken sprinkler line. He was also kind enough to assess the rest of the sprinkler system to make sure that our newly planted shrubs and trees would be properly irrigated. All this for $103 on a FRIDAY AFTERNOON!!! I'm still amazed. If all service providers were as fantastic as Bruce, the world would be a better place :)

Bruce was very easy to reach and the deal with. He was always on time and explained everything that he was doing. He set up the lights first for a and quot;demoand quot; that allowed you to see which lights you want to keep and /or move them around. At first I wasn't sure if I wanted lighting where he suggested, but once the demo started, I was sure glad he put lights in those areas. This is great for people who cannot visualize what a finished project would look like. Bruce is very upfront and reasonable with his pricing. There is no pressure if you do not want lights after the demo. His work speaks for itself as he has now installed many people's outdoor lighting in my neighborhood by word of mouth. Highly recommended.

Bruce is extremely professional, knowledgeable, efficient, trustworthy and a pleasure in which to do business. Hopefully, we can use him down the road for landscape lighting. Great guy, we wish everyone could be this good.

My home has a old system that was apparently installed by a previous owner himself, not professionally. The control unit no longer worked and several of the control valves were leaking. I was using the system in the manual mode. Bruce (ProLight Outdoor Solutions) was recommended by another company I found on Angie's List. The first company was too busy to work with me any time soon. Pro Light is listed on Angie's List, with A rating, but had fewer posts. I called Bruce and he came out that day with 2 other members of his company to do a complete review of my system. They were on time. They recognized the system was not well designed but did not push a complete replacement. They recommended the work listed above to make the system acceptable, which is what I wanted. Bruce took the time to explain several options for the control unit. He promised an estimate the next day, which I received. I called to accept the estimate and he scheduled the work for the following week. On the day the work was scheduled, he called about an hour before the appointment time to say they were delayed on another job and would be 1 1/2 hours late. They were actually 3 hours late, which he apologized for. The ProLight crew performed the work as scoped in the estimate in a very professional manner. The line to one of the new heads was difficult to install because of tree roots along the route. While that probably took much longer than the time built into the estimate, there was never any suggestion that the cost would increase. At the end of the job, Bruce spent time reviewing the function of the control unit. The 6 new control valves were installed in 2 new underground boxes, which looks much better than what was there before. I am very pleased with ProLight, will use them again, and will recommend them to others.

I called to have my existing sprinkler system heads raised and those that were broken repaired. The 'guesstimate' given, based upon description only (sight unseen), was and quot;shouldn't take more than 2-3 hours, not more than $300and quot;. My system was pretty old. It was originally installed in 2001. In addition to raising my sprinkler heads and replacing a few that had broken, they suggested that my system be brought up to code by installing a back-flow system. So I agreed to that as well as replacing my valve control system to my existing control box which is in the house. They installed the new valve system under ground which is very nice. My old one was above ground and I was always concerned about freezing. I ended up having a LOT more work done, but it really did need to be done. The work ended up taking 6 hours, plus the extra work of installing the back-flow and control valves. The dirt at my house was like cement and very hard to dig. I was very pleased with their workmanship. They were very courteous and friendly. They went the extra mile to and quot;make the customer happyand quot;. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

My sprinkler value quit working in one section of my front yard. It was a holiday, so I called the next day. I called 9 different irrigation companies (this was before I joined Angie's List) and only one replied. It was Bruce Carreau of Pro Light Outdoor Solutions. He was very nice on the phone and we set a time for him to come by. He arrived on time. It took some time to find the hidden valve but he finally found it. This is not as easy as it sounds. He even had the part on his truck to fix the valve. He hooked up the wiring, filled the holes, and cleaned up everything. He took around an hour to fix my problem. Then I found out he was on Angie's List. Boy, was I lucky. Bruce did a great job and is a very nice guy. I will certainly use him again. Now I have joined Angie's List, So I will give him a great review. I am old and very picky.

They were wonderful. Their service was excellent. They were there when they said they will be there. They did it exactly what they would do. They were creative. I was impressed. They did an excellent job. The price was fair. I would absolutely use this provider in the future.

This team goes the extra mile to get the job done. They return phone calls. Show up when expected. Go beyond the scope of the job to make sure every last detail is perect. They leave your house looking better than when they arrived. Deliver everything as promised. They checked and rechecked every aspect of the job before they left.
