Outdoor Comforts Lighting

I contracted Joshua Crampton to have outdoor lighting installed. After I paid the initial 1/2 down deposit, Joshua stayed in touch with me that 1st week-just enough time to get my check cashed. After that I could not reach him or leave a voice mail because the box was always full. I sent emails via his website and didn't hear back. I finally called his partner number listed on the contract and he passed me to Joshua who said they were discussing the install date and we set it up. I rearranged my schedule to be available for when they arrived but that never happened. No call to reschedule, no call to apologize, nothing. I finally reached Joshua a couple weeks later and he said the contractor didn't want to do the install for the price he had quoted and he would refund me. I waited a week, no money. After another couple weeks of calls and emails, Joshua contacted me and gave me a sob story that he had changed jobs and would send me the refund in increments. Of course, that never happened either. Beware!!! He has moved on to a new company -I'm sure another scam operation. I am filing a lawsuit and will be contacting the DA's office to further investigate these companies so other people aren't ripped off.
