THE NIGHTMARE WITH MY FENCE, GATES & LOCKS CONTINUES LONG REVIEW IMPORTANT TO READ ! *COMPLETE CHAOS AND DISORDERED WORK WITH NO SCHEDULE & NO COOPERATION WITH HOMEOWNER CONTRACTORS (CHRIS/ALAN MALLARD FROM NEW CANEY FENCE COMPANY) After charging me almost $11,000 to build my fence, had poor to no communication regarding appointment times. They would stop by the house to begin or complete phases of the project with no prior arrangements, not knowing if I was home or not. If they ran behind schedule at a job at another property they never called to say they were running late. They committed to appointment times I requested & did not keep their word. They were "no call no shows." Who conducts business like this? No one.!! *POOR WORKMANSHIP & NOT LISTENING TO DIRECTIONS & REQUESTS Fence was built with a large gap between the ground and the bottom of the fence allowing the two dogs to get loose. The whole point of the project was to have a fenced in yard for two dogs. I told this to them from the beginning but they did not listen or care. To fix the issue, I had great additional expense to purchase gravel, concrete, and bricks to fill in the gap under the fence in order to secure the dogs. *EXTREME RUDENESS Contractors & workers of NEW CANEY FENCE COMPANY spoke disrespectfully to me when I was the one hiring them and paying them for the work. They acted as if they knew better than me about what I wanted & needed done. They were arrogant, rude, and demeaning. *BROKEN ITEMS INSTALLED The two expensive gate locks that was charged to me $350 each, has been a disaster due to the fact that the locks were not done properly in the first place. They were installed broken from day one. The codes did not work consistently. The locks were affected by hot and humid weather and did not work the way they were supposed to work: at all times in all weather. The locks did not fully latch due to being incorrectly installed. After two months of constant reminders, emails as well as me going to the company, Chris Mallard from New Caney Fence Company finally came out to fix the locks & the fence gates. I mentioned to him what exactly I thought would be good & solid so that he didn't have to come out again due to the constant reoccurrence of the locks & the gates not working properly, he refused and said I'm asking for too much & if I say anything more, that he would leave without doing anything at all. He completed the work and left Beware and do not trust your loved ones, pets, and valuable property to the fate of these completely incompetent contractors and workers. *RUDEST RECEPTIONISTS (KRYSTLE O'MALLEY & KAITLIN DENNIS) I HAVE EVER HAD THE EXTREME DISPLEASURE TO DEAL WITH IN OVER 50 YEARS OF DOING BUSINESS WITH ANY COMPANY It's funny how until New Caney Fence Company got the fence job from me, the receptionist/Office Manager (KRYSTLE O'MALLEY) went above & beyond to be polite & helpful until I signed on the dotted lines. When I noticed problems & brought them to (KRYSTLE O'MALLEY) notice, she showed a side of her that was shocking!! This person is totally toxic. She is verbally abusive, overbearing, mean, snarky, & sarcastic. In person, she has physically threatening body language designed to intimidate others.(ME) The receptionist (OFFICE MANAGER) is the person who gives potential clients their first impression of the business. If you want a toxic environment of snarky, argumentative, incompetent, unaccountable, excuse-making people with whom to do business you are at the right place & this is what she KRYSTLE O'MALLEY correctly portrays. The fence gate still doesn't lock up till date!I I keep getting excuses when I call, email or go to the company. I have gone above & beyond with my patience with Chris/Alan Mallard from New Caney Fence Company in every way possible.

I had them come out to rebuild a wood fence at my place. It is 266ft by their estimate, and they charged almost $8K to do it. The price isn't so much the problem, it should have been a 2-day job, and they were here 5 days and still didn't finish nor cleanup all their debris. Plus, TWICE I caught one of their guys going #2 in my yard! I walked right up on the one squatting beside my air conditioner and a couple of days later and a new crew and another one come out from behind my shed doing up his pants and belt having relieved himself behind it. I'll finish the job myself or have someone else do it. I will never use New Caney Fence LLC again. The fence does look good, but I gave them a 1 star for a "****** ATTITUDE" and general nastiness.

They built a portion of our fence with 3 adjoining neighbors. That work appeared good so we decided to get them to rebuilding the section between us and our side neighbor so it would all tie in together and look good. Called them out to give us a price for that section which they quoted approximately $750. The remainder of our yard is needing a new fence as well, but we have to talk to those neighbors to get approval so my husband asked for a price for the rest of the fencing. Got the bid with the 2 portions priced separately. Called them to schedule what we called them out for. My husband confirmed the price and they said that price ($750) would only be good if we did the entire yard. That is not what is on the quote and it was specifically requested to be separate and on their bid was separate. Would never use someone who does business this way. Since looking into reviews for work done in Kingwood, they have a terrible reputation!!!

Terrible. Lori Contracted w New Caney Fence to build a new wood fence and paid 50% - $3500. In Feb last year. She then became ill and passed away on April 3rd. New Caney Fence never performed any work and never contacted her to start the work and gave no evidence that they spent any money. As Administrator for Loris estate I notified New Caney Fence of her passing and they asked me to submit death certificate & my authorization as Administrator - which I did. They then without showing me the contract which she had signed (I could not find a copy in Lori’s files) they asked that I sign a contract cancellation notice - which I did. They then based on the contract terms which includes a punitive penalty (40% of total contract price: .40 x 7000 = $2800 // paid $3500 - $2800 = $700) they repaid Lori’s estate only $700. They kept $2800 from Loris daughters who are beneficiary of the estate. If I had known this upfront I would have made them honor the contract and install the fence and then recouped the cost when we sold Loris house. The Owner, Allan said they had an arbitration process but yet will not return my calls. Based on their behaviors and they way they treated their client I would never do business with them. I can understand the penalty if a client walked away from the contract but Lori passing away was extraordinary circumstance and you would think this company would have empathy towards Loris daughters But beware with this company they have no empathy to a tragic circumstance.

They were very efficient in removing my old fence and replacing it. They did a good job cleaning up afterwards, all for a competitive price.

Quite well in all install aspects ...except have a request in for gate warranty repair for a few weeks..no response on when repair to be done

He just takes care of you. He's a great guy to work with; he doesn't charge for every single fence post. He is fantastic and he is very easy to communicate with.
