Marc Chambers took my money and ran. BEWARE. Scam Artist. After signing a contract and putting up a significant deposit ($2500), the delays began, as well as the excuse matrix. I was concerned so I did more research. I should have done more prior to giving this crook money. I found multiple reviews that stated Marc Chambers did the same thing to other people. He had an extensive police record, including jail time for the same stuff. He was a fugitive in 2014. I called the Montgomery Country detective to get more info. The detective was very familiar with Marc and listed numerous cases of fraud. He will prey on anyone... elderly, churches, etc. Never received services paid for. Never received materials paid for. Complete SCAM! Go somewhere else for your needs.

After Marc cashed a check in early 2011 for 'materials' and never built my fence, and then broke several promises to return my money, I filed a lawsuit against Marc Chambers/ Low Expense Fence Co. in August 2011, and it went to court in Oct. 2011. He didn't show up and the judge ruled in my favor. Who knows if I'll ever get a dime back from Marc, but at least he is in jail and not able to rip off any more people.

Low Expense Fence (Marc Chambers) was recommended to us by our building inspector, when we were buying our home. We got three estimates for fencing and he was the lowest. Since he came highly recommended, we decided to contract with him. He promised we would have a fence as soon as we received HOA approval. We received the approval and said he would be out in two days. Then the excuses began. We thought it was strange our deposit check of $3,850 cleared the bank within hours of giving it to him, but being trusting people, we thought we would still get our fence. Not so!! Come to find out he's taken deposits from many others and not performed his part of the contract. DO NOTgive him a deposit....you will lose your money.

Do NOT hire this man! This "supposed" contractor came to my home and gave me an estimate to install a pool fence. I was given a price, and told that he needed 60% down and that he would be back the following Saturday at 8am. I told him that I would give him $200 down for a $650 job to cover the materials cost. He didn't show up saturday (said he had another job), sunday (had a funeral), Monday (was in Dallas). After reading reviews on the BBB website, and realizing that his address does not exist, and that he scams people this way regularly, I asked him to return my deposit. OF COURSE, he didn't show up a again, so I filed a police report on this scam artist. I doubt I will ever see that money.

Fence installed on two sides or property. Started falling down within 3 months. Not responsive, no repair NO GUARANTEE. Terrible workmanship. DO NOT TRUST Marc Chambers.

Homeowners approval for the fence was received early March. After multiple delays and disappearances on Marc's part, we hired another fence company and demanded our money back. Last I heard from Marc was late May 2011 when he promised to return our money. I filed a suit against him and he failed to appear in court in Oct 2011. The judge ruled in my favor for $2,670 plus court costs. I am still waiting for my money.
