Green Texas Chem Dry

I purchased a deal and was not able to contact them to schedule. I tried several emails and tried calling the number that was listed for contacting. I left several messages with no reply; email or call. When someone finally answered, I was told it was the wrong number.

My experience with them was fine. I needed to supervise what the worker was doing to make sure I got it as clean as I wanted it. He was perfectly fine with that and made every effort to do a good job.

My experience with them was okay. I was not 100% satisfied with the service. It didn't really get the grout as clean as I thought it would have been.

- Chem Dry showed up at 10am instead of 9/9:30 (approx 30 min late). - Workmanship was very poor. The equipment created multiple new stains. The stains were circular and appeared to have come from where they placed their equipment. There was also overspray on some of our furniture and a large black smudge on the hallway wall. - Upon further investigation, we discovered that the equipment used was different than what we saw in the Chem Dry video on Youtube. In fact, it resembled traditional steam cleaning wand - which Chem Dry so proudly distinguishes themselves from. - Carpet took 8 hours to dry, instead of the 2-4 hours that we were told on the phone. (Chem Dry advertises 1-2 hours on their website). - We called Green Texas Chem Dry and explained that there were circular stains left by their equipment. The lady on the call was very hurried to get off the phone but said they would call on Monday to come by and clean the stains They didn?t call Monday, but instead sent a text at 4pm on Monday, saying the technician would be at our house Tues between 10-10:30am and asked if that was ok. - We called Green Texas Chem Dry shortly after they texted and got no one. We left a message and then called the Chem Dry corporate office to share our concerns about the quality of work and process used. Corporate was minimally helpful. They explained that franchises were independently owned and that it sounded like Green Texas was using ?legacy equipment?. We requested that they help put us in touch with someone that uses the latest equipment to do the re-work. They reluctantly agreed to see what they could do. - We called Green Texas Chem Dry again and this time they picked up. We explained our frustration and said we weren?t comfortable scheduling re-work until we were sure we would receive the best available Chem Dry process, as advertised. Green Texas said they used the Chem Dry process and they were not familiar with the equipment we were speaking of. Green Texas offered to come Tuesday to fix it. We said Tues wouldn?t work, but they could come Wednesday around lunch. Green Texas said they had other jobs to do on Wednesday and could not re-work their schedule to fit us in at the requested time. Green Texas offered Saturday and we told them to tentatively put us down but that we were very frustrated that now they were going to have to come on our day off and at their convenience ? not ours. Green Texas then hung up on us. We called back but Green Texas didn?t answer. - We then called our bank and cancelled payment on our check of $130. - On Sat morning, we got a call (voicemail) from a man claiming to be Green Texas? lawyer. The man said they required payment by Monday or they would take action. We called the lawyer back and explained that we weren?t going to pay for dirty carpet. We said we would pay for the rooms that had no stains, but would not pay for the room that had new stains created by Green Texas. We agreed to pay $100 for the 3 rooms (not the 4th) but expressed our extreme frustration and that we planned to share that frustration publicly. The lawyer then threatened to go after our credit rating and file a complaint with the credit bureau to wreck our credit score. We said that was ridiculous and that we didn?t understand what any of this had to do with our credit. We said we could write a check right now for $100. The lawyer said ?how are you going to write a check when you don?t have an account?? We said we cancelled the check; it didn?t bounce. The lawyer said to go ahead and send check to Green Texas? business address. We said ok, but that we were done doing business with them. - We then immediately placed the check in the mail.

Contacted them through their website about carpet cleaning. To date have not received any call back or email.

They showed up on time and were very professional. They did a great job and would definitely use again.

Looking at all the coupons this company has to offer I was confused as to which one would be the best for my situation, so I emailed them on 12/30 asking for advice. I had 2 area rugs, 2 runners and 1 recliner that needed cleaning. They responded on 12/30 with pricing of $300. I had pet stains/odors that needed to be dealt with on these items. However, I couldn't afford the $300 service they were offering. So I emailed them back the next day on 12/31 asking when we could schedule just one rug and one runner, and we would do the other at another time to help spread out the cost out and help with my budget. I have never heard back from them and it's 1/9/15. I even left them my cell phone number to call me to schedule the appointment. Just to do the one rug and runner was $100 (including the pet odor remover) so I guess that just wasn't worth the effort to do the service or even reach back out to me. I give them an F for communication efforts.

I purchased the groupon and scheduled service. Succinctly stated - they did a great job on cleaning the tile but really caused a problem with our hardwood floors. On the descriptor the company states "We use water pressure, you need to move and/or protect delicate things, like area rugs, TV, etc. Our crew will protect wood floors, heavy furniture that can not be moved, etc." Well...the crew did not protect our hardwoods and now we are looking for a company to repair the damaged parkay floor tiles. Additionally, at the culmination of service the service guy asked if we wanted the tile "sealed". We wanted a complete service...so we "bit the bullet" and paid an additional $120.00 for the sealing process. I like all the terms "upfront" and in this instance - its not what we got.

Our grout was due for a serious cleaning. After trying several at home solutions myself (which worked great, but required a TON of effort I frankly don't have time for), I "threw in the towel" and decided to hire a professional company. Perks for Green Texas Chem Dry are that they were easy to schedule, and showed up on time. In fact, they called to move up the time the day of as their rep finished early from another site. After the service all I can say is that I'm glad I had the $139 deal purchased, because the level of service they provided wouldn't have warranted the full price. I will admit that the grout looks much better than it did before, however I wouldn't call it 100% clean - maybe 75%. There are a few areas I will have to follow up on. Also, there are a few areas in my bathrooms that I'll need to repair as the tech damaged the paint on our baseboards. My husband was displeased with the reps due to the lack of care they took in their work, and with their customer service skills. They used our hose as a water source during the service and while they did roll it back into it's holder, the hose itself was so tangled it took my husband over 30 minutes to untangle it.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. It was okay and they came out pretty quick. When they finished they did not get any of the spots up so I was a little disappointed, I guess. I think he said they had been here too long and tried to upsell me on something else to get them out. I did not do it.

Everything went great. I purchased the big deal on a Thursday or Friday and he came the following Saturday. He did a great job!

Jorge and JJ were very efficient and polite. They were careful bringing all their equipment into the house. They even moved the furniture as I did not realize I should have moved it. They even sweep the floor where all sorts of stuff had fallen behind a desk, and was a mess. That was certainly an extra effort which I'm sure was above and beyond what they were required and expected to do. They made sure my floor was dry before they moved the furniture back into the rooms. They then made sure that no water had dripped from their machine on the rest of the floors as the equipment was moved out.

They were over an hour late arriving to the house and did not call. The tech was polite and professional but dry cleaning didn't clean pet stains up from the carpet. While cleaning the upstairs, the equipment left stains on the stairs which were not cleaned.

The service was fine. They cleaned the grout in my dining and kitchen area. They were courteous and contentious of noise and cleanliness. I would recommend them.

They cleaned the upholstery on a chair and one other piece of furniture; they damaged the arm rest in the cleaning process. The gentleman who did the work was very kind and did a good job. The company did not contact us but once I spoke with them they were willing to work with us on getting it repaired.

The worker was extremely nice and went above and beyond by cleaning my staircase for me, even though this wasn't in the original order. We will ABSOLUTELY use again and recommend.

Most cleaning great job but could not clean all for some reason.

Green Texas Chem Dry came out and discussed the job factors and conditions with me at my condo yesterday. Being in a high-rise building presented unique conditions regarding energy use (as in breakers possibly being thrown), as well as water hook-ups that could present problems with plumbing reliability and sewer liability affecting my condo, my condo's codes, and my neighbors' condos. We decided not to proceed with the job. Confirmed that over Angie's List. site email. When I asked about a refund of my order payment, they said to contact Angie's List Customer Service to obtain the refund. Did that next, and Angie's List customer service was quick to respond, and very helpful in the matter and resolved my questions immediately. GTCD contact person and their tech were both very professional and sympathetic toward me as a customer from the very start all through to our ending communications. I cannot personally vouch for the actual work they do, but my personal experience with their integrity, sincerity, and dedication towards customer service leads me to believe they value and observe very good business practices with the community.

Company scheduled appointment and then called to state that their equipment had broken down and they would not get parts until next week. I need the service now, not in the future. I am going to have to contract with another company to get the job done for my daughter who is 9 months pregnant.

They started out really good, but they kind of piddled out. They did an okay job, but I wouldn't use them again.

The gentleman who came did a very thorough job, and spent more time than I had even hoped trying to clean and get out stains in my carpet. He did an excellent job, and was courteous and professional. I will definitely call them in the future when I need my carpets cleaned again.

Rubin arrived promptly at the appointment. No waiting, no window. He was professional, honest, and did an excellent job. Actually better than expected. The service was better than promised. I will not hesitate to use Green Chem Dry again.
