Trimmed/shaped four 30ft pinoak trees

The crew was right on time and as they removed the limbs they were very careful not to damage our home or the surrounding plants. All debris was picked up and racked up. At our request the mulch from the stump grinding was left behind. I can whole heartily recommend Good Morrow Land Services LLC.

I called to get a quotation on trimming one tree in my yard. The owner came within an hour and suggested that I trim another tree as well, although I didn't think it was necessary as well as some bushes that needed to be trimmed. He gave me a quote for the work but was unable to honor a "offer" on Angie's list for a discount. He did contact Angie's list and find out that they had re-activated an offer that was no longer available and has since been removed. He still gave me a small discount and I appreciated it as the mistaken offer was not his fault and I have confirmed that the offer is no longer on Angie's list. He said that the crew could be there the next morning. The owner then left and sent me an invoice by email within an hour. Early the next morning the crew arrived and began working before I could even speak to them. I They did a great job on the main tree and a fair job on the rest, but kept asking me questions of how I wanted the tree trimmed, with my response being that they were the experts and they needed to tell me. With respect to that second tree, the tree trimmer said it didn't need trimming at all but went ahead and cut 3 small limbs off as I paid to have the tree trimmed. They were quick and cleaned up 90% of the mess, but left a handful of leaves and small branches scattered through the yard; however the owner of the company cleaned those up on his post work inspection. The communication has been excellent and the punctuality can't be beat.

I requested the service online on one evening. I received a call from Mr. Solis at 8AM the next morning offering to come over and provide an estimate. He arrived about 30 minutes later and did an assessment on the work to be done. I initially planned to have one tree removed with stump grinding. He looked at the other tree which had broken and advised that it should be removed. He assessed all the trees on my property and advised that 6 of them needed to be trimmed for tree health reasons. He provided a quote for the work that he recommended. The price appeared reasonable but I felt that I needed to get at least one other quote. Another tree service came and provided a quote for the work which was several hundred dollars lower. I opted to go with Mr. Solis and Good Morrow because he offered to do the work on the same day and his was a larger company with excellent reviews. In spite of the fact that we were having heavy rain at around noon, he stated that if the rain stopped he would have a crew here today. Surely, the rain did stop and the crew arrived. The crew was very professional and the teamwork was amazing to behold. The work was completed in less that three hours and all the debris removed and my yard left cleaner than it was when they arrived. My wife and I are very pleased with the work and feel the company did us a great favor.

We saw a coupon for 50% off on Angie's list. It gave example of an $800 job for $400. So we thought great. If our job is $2200 (we'd already had another estimate close to that) we'll get for $1100. But that wasn't the case. It was only an example. $400 off was the most you could get. And if you used a card, it was $75 added back on. So although we thought this was a bit deceptive, they did a great job. They were fast, on time, and did what they said and finished when they said. They neatly cleaned up everything. So I would recommend them for small jobs especially. It's best if you can pay cash or check as there is extra charge to use credit card.

Very pleased with the fast, professional service. I would normally have got 3 bids for something like this, but having it done the same day I called out-weighed maybe saving some money at the cost of missing more work. A large tree in the front yard broke a dozen feet off the ground, and fell onto another tree splitting it but remaining suspend in the air. With someone coming out, may as well remove the dead tree in back too. I stayed home from work and called 3 top rated tree services from Angies List for bids. 2 were coming out later in the week, but Norbert from Good Morrow could be over in an hour. Price quoted seemed reasonable, but this was the first bid. Chatting, he mentioned there was a crew finishing up a job near by, and they could do everything today. I might have saved a couple hundred dollars with more bids. but the convenience of same-day service and not missing al least 3 more days of work sold me. Crew of six showed up at 3:15 in three trucks with 2 chippers, a bob-cat with a grapple, and a stump grinder. By 4:15 they were grinding stumps and were probably gone by 5:00. Wonderful to watch pros at work. Unfortunate the videos I shot on phone exceed the 10 MB GIF limit...

The workers did a good job and Tony onsite manager did a great job. However, second time in a row we have used them and had issues 1. After agreeing to total price, tried to add another $500+ for sales tax 2. Asked us to pay one of his workers which we did. He promised to come by to inspect an outdoor outlet that was broken by one of their trucks. Never came. We had to fix it ourselves. 3. Chipped concrete on walk path. The first time, they agreed to leave the wood from the oak tree for firewood, instead they haul it off and told us if we wanted it we'd have to come get it.

They did a good job of taking the trees down and cutting them up as requested. Left the yard clean.

3rd time I've used them. Always pleased. This time, I had an issue. The workers mistakenly cut down to the ground/removed 2 of the three bushes that they were supposed to just trim and shape. I called Norbert, he offed $150 discount, which was acceptable to me. Will not prevent me from using them again. But I will probably be home when they start the job so I can double-check their understanding of the work instructions.

They did a good job with the tree trimming and checked with us frequently to make sure how high we wanted each palm trimmed back. They were careful with cutting the palm down that was close to the house. They cleaned up all of the debris including everything that fell into our pool.

Crew foreman arrived on time and the crew about 45 minutes later. The crew was large (10-12 men) and they did a very thorough job in about 2 hours. They totally cleaned up the yard when they were finished before they left. You could not tell they had even been there when looking at the yard. I made one request that had not been discussed previously and they quickly took care of it.
