Overall the company did a very good job.

Tree trimming was done in professional way, and limbs disposed of in wood chipper. The downed pine tree required cutting up into manageable pieces which required use of a bob cat. The heavy equipment required resulted in a small amount of damage to asphalt driveway, and tracks in a small area of back yard. Considering it was necessary to use heavy equipment to remove the tree, I am happy of the overall job.

I dealt with Hector. Good guy, personable, and professional. We went over what I needed done and he offered a very fair estimate in my opinion. His crew of 5-6 pros showed up early the next day and finished the job quickly and precisely. Entire area was cleaned very well after the job was completed. Neighbors were impressed and asked for their contact information. Great company, would definitely do business again.

They missed the appointment this morning and I called and no call back and it is very frustrating when people do not respect my time.

The crew work was done very quickly and efficient. They cleaned all debris and didn't leave any sign the tree removal has been done, except the trees has been gone! The owner Norbert was very kind and responsive. I am a happy customer. Great job!

The guy came out and quoted me $1600 to do a job that I thought would be around $400 ... I didn't feel like I was getting any help at all

After purchasing the Angies List deal, Norbert contacted me the next day and came to the house to provide an estimate for work to be performed. Scope and price were agreed to and work was scheduled for the following Friday (2/27/15). On the 26th he contacted me asking if his crew could arrive on Thursday afternoon, as they were completing a job in the same area early. We agreed to start that afternoon. When I arrived home from work, the job was complete and all materials/debris/rubbish has been cleaned up and removed. The trees looked fantastic. They had removed large heavy branches, small suckers and raised the canopy so the house can now be seen from the street. I was very impressed with the timeliness and quality of their work. I would definitely use Good Morrow services again.

So there is the good, the bad and the ugly on this job. I have listed them below Pros They work fast and quick to finish the whole job. They did everything they promised. It took them around 4 hours to complete the job. Cons They tore up my lawn (total 50-70 sq ft) where I now need to replant grass. Took 4 hours to do the job but now I have to wait 3 months for my grass to come back. If I knew this would happen cause the ground was wet, I would have told them to hold off till the job was done. If the ground is dry they would do great, just don't let that equipment on your lawn when it is wet. Now I have to go pay to lay more seeds down.

Did not use it. I bought a coupon for $199 for $400 work. He came here and give me an estimate for almost $1000. I called other contractors and all of them was between $400 and $450. Angie's list sell you coupons and the contractors charge more than twice the other contractors

Amazing job. Very fast and efficient. The two oak trees look beautiful after they were trimmed.

It went fine. We were very satisfied. They did a good job. They did what they said they were going to do. They came out within a reasonable amount of time when we purchased it.

It worked out very well. They were able to come out the next day to remove the tree and grind the stump. They were very friendly and they were able to come out and do the work on the same day they came for the estimate. They use a good size crew and worked very efficiently. They put all the branches and tree material through the chipper and cleaned up all the debris so you would not have known they were even there.

He never once offered to tell me what he could do for the price offered on Angie's List. He always bid 3 to 4 times as much as other providers for the same work. I want a refund from this provider, since his Angie's List offer was basically a bait and switch.

All is fine but I later realized their cost is twice the cost of other companies. I had to cut another tree and hit the quote from this company and an other one and the quote from good morrow was twice and they wanted to do it right away . I guess they knew if j get a quote from another company, they will not get the business. I will not work with them in the future due to the price .

The man was very nice and came out quickly for an estimate. Unfortunately, the prices are so high above the Angie's List deal, there is no way we can do it.

It was okay. It took them about 3 hours to do the work with 8+ crewmen. They cleaned everything up afterwards.

They were very prompt in responding, but their price was very high so I hired anther company.

I used a deal from Angies list and everything went very well. After I purchased the deal online they were very prompt contacting me. They called and set a time to come give me an estimate. He came by on time and gave me the estimate and the tree trimming crew was out that afternoon to do the job. They did an excellent job, cleaned up the mess and charged me exactly what the estimate said. They (both the supervisor who gave me the estimate and the guys doing the trimming) were extremely polite and professional. I was very satisfied with the work they did.

He was $1000 over the other bids I received. He also had no clue what to do about the tree roots in my yard, and he said they'd die eventually. I've spoken to other tree service people who said they would treat the roots. When I told Mr. Solis he was higher than all my other bids, he said dump fees and the stump removal cost a lot. I found another person on Angie's List to perform the work.

The gentleman was very nice and very professional, but the quote was substantially higher than the others that I received.

They were very prompt and efficient. Price was rated B because I have no experience with tree trimming to compare with and felt a little pressured to do stuff. I wish now we hadn't trimmed the trees to the height we did, but maybe that's standard trimming height. It did give us a clear view of the lake behind us and allowed lots of sun into our back yard. Overall we are pleased and would not hesitate to use this company again after comparing prices with other companies on Angie's List.

After I purchased the Big Deal, Norbert reached out to me very quickly and we set a time for him to come provide an estimate. He stayed in contact with me that day and arrived when expected. The estimate to get work done would require an additional out-of-pocket expense of $600 (on top of the Big Deal) that I cannot afford. I have emailed him and asked him to not schedule the service for this reason.

I contacted Good Morrow for an estimate to mainly cut back two large Crepe Myrtles close to my house. We walked my 3/4 acre and agreed that cutting back, removal of some selected trees, and trimming would be aesthetic and beneficial to my yard. Good Morrow would well with my schedule. The crew showed on Saturday AM with a large crew. They completed the work and cleaned up admirably considering the amount of tree, limbs, a brush that was removed. The were very congenial.

I first heard about Good Morrow when I purchased their "Big Deal" of $250 for $500 worth of tree service. Norbert responded to my request and came out to quote the same day. He was punctual, polite, and very professional. I have 3 large trees that need trimming and he quoted me $1650 for all 3. I asked him to quote a single large Oak that has dead limbs and needs to be topped off, and he quoted me $850. Last year I had a large Pine tree removed from my backyard for $625, and I figured having a tree trimmed would be less. Apparently not. I haven't had any additional companies come out to quote recently, so I can't comment on whether or not their price is competitive in The Woodlands market. If my husband and I were looking to stay in our house long term, I might consider paying for the service. However, since we are looking to sell in the next few months I'm not willing to invest in the service at this time. If needed, I may consider leveraging the offer as a negotiation tool however our realtor has confirmed that we aren't required to have the tree trimmed prior to selling.
