The reason the price is so high is that they cut down a dying 60 ft tree and trimmed every tree on my lot. We have a lot of trees. The trees had never been trimmed in the 12yrs that we have lived in the house. Now the place looks fantastic. You would never know the difference until it is done. From my research online, the price was in the ballpark of other tree services. These guys do it right and they know what they are doing. It's a good idea to get someone who actually knows about trees. You can get a lower price, but when it come to cutting down tree's, it's a good idea to get someone with insurance and experience. This is the 2nd time I have used their services. The first time they cut down an 80ft pine that was struck by lightning. These guy's are good!

I was extremely pleased with the professionalism of the owner, Norbert Solis, who came to my home quickly and then took the time to very carefully explain what should be done to my trees at a very reasonable price. His crew arrived on time and completed the job very fast, efficiently and did a great clean up job. I will recommend Good Morrow Land Services to all my friends, family and neighbors.

The estimated the work at a much higher rate ($950) than anticipated.

From the time I contacted for this work to the time it was completed was less than 24 hours. Norbet came to my home and we talked in detail about what I wanted done and he pointed out things that I wasn't aware of. We talked about some additional work that would be needed and we agreed on a fair price for the complete job. The very next morning he had a full crew outside and working. They were very quick and knew exactly what needed to be done and what was agreed on. Within in a very short time the work was completed and they did an excellent job cleaning up all of the cuttings. The company arrived on time as scheduled and quickly proceeded to cut and remove the two large trees contracted to be removed. Difficult removal was easily managed by these workers. One damaged area to our wooden deck was repaired the following day! All debris was cleaned and removed. At our request some wood was cut to lengths for burning in our fireplace this winter. All in all, we were very satisfied with the work and price.

They were able to come out the same day to complete the work after they provided the estimate. They hauled it away after taking it out and cleaned up well. It was a good experience.

The quote was twice more than the previous I had so it was not 'free' estimate

Norbert (owner) came out and gave estimate two weeks ago. Just returned from vacation this past Sunday, and spoke to Norbert this morning. He had all notes from our discussion saved where he could easily access the information, and I didn't have to repeat what I was needing again. His quote was not the cheapest, but I knew from talking to him (and reading the reviews here on Angie's List) that it would be worth paying a bit extra to have the job done correctly. I was absolutely right! His guys showed up early (on the same day that I called the owner!), and did a fantastic job with a very difficult tree (location by pool in backyard and the yard stuff around it). There were literally 8-9 guys in 3 different vehicles that came in and assisted the climber/cutter with getting everything down safely, and without damaging anything in my yard. They then moved a stump grinder back there and ground up the stump and roots that they could get to. All very nice guys, and very professional. And they cleaned up the mess in my backyard and in the driveway from grinding everything down. Not only would I use this company again, but I will highly recommend them to anybody and everybody that I can. It's not often that I give this kind of kudos, but this company is worth it. If you need a tree removed (or trees trimmed or land cleared), don't waste time calling anybody else! Thanks Norbert!

I purchased a deal I thought, $199 for $400 Worth of Tree Service. Norbert came out, he seemed very professional, however, $400 worth of tree service is not worth while for them to come out.

Eight men came to take my trees down and clear brush off the back of my property. They were prompt, getting at my house ten minutes early. They had good equipment consisting of three trucks, a chipper, and a stump grinder. They were courteous and very professional. Their price was very reasonable. They got the work done quickly and cleaned all the debris down to the tiniest sticks. I was very impressed with this group of men and will use them again. I have already passed their name off to a neighbor.

IT WENT GREAT. CAME AT 1PM THE FIRST DAY AND DIDN'T GET FINISHED, CAME BACK THE NEXT MORNING TO FINISH.

Norbert came out and was very nice and professional. Unfortunately his quote for removing one tree was about 300% higher than the other three quotes I got for the same work.

I purchases a coupon, I was very happy with the prompt inspection of needs, execution of the tree trimming and the clean up, we barely knew they were there except for the pretty trimmed trees. Thanks Norbert ;)

Excellent up front assessment and recommendations. Very responsive and willing to discuss options. Work was carried out quickly and efficiently. Good to see safe working practices. Clean up was very thorough.

Norbert came out quickly to give an estimate, and then was able to schedule the job three days later. They also shredded some branches that I cut for my next door neighbor. After they left, I noticed two dead limbs on the water oak (10' circumference) that were not noticable from the back yard or in the front yard during morning hours. Norbert had the workmen come out the next day to take care of those limbs.

I have a lot of trees around my house. As soon as I purchased a Big Deal from Angie's list, Nobert called me to set up an appointment for an estimate for work. He came to my house on the same day; Crews came over to my house mid-afternoon. My wife didn't know about the project and invited a neighbor for swimming on the backyard - my fault for lack of communication... Crews (of 7?) worked on the front & side, came back on the next day and finished the job. They are very professional, efficient and listen to what you want for your tree project. Job well done!!!

I was delighted with the results. Norbert came to my house one afternoon to go over the scope of the work. The price was clear up front. He said his crew would be here by 8:40 the next morning, and indeed they were right there on time. He sent plenty of men and equipment for the job. I was shocked that all this work (including grinding up the logs and limbs from the cut-down trees) was done by 10 am. They did an excellent job of cleaning up. I would certainly hire them again and I would certainly recommend them to my friends.

I purchased a deal from Good Morrow Land Service on Tuesday May 19 and was contacted by Norbert immediately. I returned the call the next day. Norbert had a crew finishing a job in my neighborhood so he sent the crew to my house. I was worried before they began. I had heard horror stories of other tree companies that damaged swimming pools when branches fell into the pool. Everyone in the crew was very professional. This crew did a great job. They removed items that were near the tree. The tree branch was removed promptly, the area was cleaned, and everything was put back where it was.

They were very prompt, thorough, careful of property and cleaned up when they were finished.

Norbert Solis came out to meet me at my house on a Saturday morning and his crews performed the work during a three hour period that Monday. The crews came with an appropriate number of people and equipment to perform the work and take away the tree trunks, underbrush, and pruned limbs. I have used Good Morrow for tree removal services in the past. They come with a little army of crew and equipment to complete the work quickly, but cleanly as well. They cost more than other similar service contractors, but what I like about them is that they turn the work around quickly. I have seen my neighbors have tree removal done by other contractors. In the time it takes those contractors to remove a couple of trees Good Morrow could clear 15 trees, including stump grinding.

Fast efficient and best of al they cleaned up to the point you would never know they were there except the trees looked much better.

It went beautifully. There were a couple moments that I became nervous when really, really large branches were falling, a few on my deck. But no one was hurt; that was my main concern. They had five plus men working together. As soon as a branch was felled, someone was carrying or dragging it off to the wood chip machine out front. All my work was done in my backyard. The men were like a well oiled machine. Some held the ropes which guided the branches to the ground, away from fence/deck, people, other plants. My yard is small and just full of plants, bird feeders, bird bath, etc. I was asked to step outside one time. They wanted to be sure that the Crape Myrtle was cut as low as I wanted and they weren't sure where I wanted it trimmed between my house and my neighbor's. Branches were grown touching and .dragging my roof and lots between our two houses. I really appreciated the request for my input. I had previously talked with my neighbor and knew he wanted it trimmed off his roof also. THE MEN WERE SO PROFESSIONAL!!! A week later, my neighbor came into my backyard and was amazed at the difference. His yard has no grass due to all the bushes/trees and overgrowth. He asked for their card and I gladly gave it to them. His comment voiced very quietly as he was looking around the yard was: "There is something to be said for cleaning /trimming the overgrowth." He added that sitting outside on a deck relaxing would be really nice. After, he is finished updating the inside of his house, I would not be surprised if he did not call this company to help him out.

Good morrow quoted one price over the phone and then increased the price after it was done. Completely disregarding the coupon by angies list. After paying for the grinding of the tree stumps one still remains. They have been contacted three time on regards to finishing the removal of the stumps, after much hassle they said they would be at the house to remove the stumps on 04/22/14 and did not show. We had to call them AGAIN to see what happened and he said he will be here tomorrow.

I am so pleased with the work done by Good Morrow Land Services. The crew did an amazing job on a huge river oak tree that had never been trimmed. I highly recommend Mr. Norbert Solis and his crew. Thank you for a job well done! Doris Russell Kingwood, TX
