Description of Work: I used this service for years with no problems. Then they just stopped picking up my garbage but the kept taking my money. Unresponsive to calls.

Description of Work: HORRIBLE SERVICE! Started out well enough picking up the trash twice a week on Mondays and Thursday's. But over time has gotten worse and worse. Would miss a pickup here and there but would get it within a day or two. Now they miss pickups all together and trash piles up for days, sometimes weeks! No one ever answers the phone, the mail box is always full so you can't leave a message either. on the few occasions I've been able to speak to the office or to a driver, they've been incredibly rude, hanging up, cussing. I am switching services within the next week, I cannot put up with it any longer. Just read all the 1 Star reviews on this company everywhere and take warning.

+ -1 moreI wish there was a "yes & no" for the services provided section above. I had service w/Enviro-waste for approx. 15 years, & they went like clockwork. Then, @ the 1st of this year, I was switched from a rear load dumpster to a front load, & afterwards, it's as if they forgot where they dropped it at. Since Feb., our dumpster was emptied maybe 6 times, & that was with me calling (sometimes a couple of times a day) & going by their office. I repeatedly gave them the benefit of the doubt, especially when they indicated the owner had passed away, but I finally had to give up & get service elsewhere. Our last contact was to let them know we no longer needed the dumpster, last week (we did that twice, too), & the dumpster is still out front, where it will remain until they decide to come get it.
Description of Work: Was supposed to dump our dumpster.

+ -1 moreDid not pick up my trash one of many times so I called to let them know and they had cancelled my services for non-payment. I have been a customer of theirs since 2007 and they have always debited my credit card. Never did I receive anything in the mail or a simple phone call to let me know that my credit card had expired.... They just cancelled my services. To keep your customers you have to communicate with them. Yes I should have noticed but after having my payment debited for so long I didn't notice. Customer service has gone down hill with lots of companies lately because we are all just becoming a number to them!

+ -1 moreYes they are an old school company, the guys riding on the back of the truck, jump off the toss your trash into the back. BUT, they come twice a week (none of the other companies do) and they take the large items that don't fit in the cans every pick up, no need to wait or call for a special pick up. and you can't beat that price (and it's per month) other guys couldn't touch that either!
Description of Work: once they received my payment they started my service. Thought that was a little odd, but ok...

+ -1 moreEnviro-Waste is trying to catch up and at least answers their phone. They are still using the equipment inherited from their successor, and probably will be mediocre until they acquire new, and additional equipment.
Description of Work: This firm became the successor to McDaniel Garbage Service and Heritage Waste Services who had gone several weeks without trash pickup in our area. The first two weeks after taking over our account, Enviro-Waste was two days late on our Monday Trash pick-up. We were paid up through March, and canceled our service in an attempt to have greater regularity with Waste Corporation of America (WCA).
