Rob English is a rare contractor. He is always on time and communicates well on any required scheduling changes. He strives for perfection. Rob is extremely organized and plans all his jobs out to the finest details. This makes his work very high quality and if he is not satisfied on the smallest detail, he will make sure it is done right. He has every gadget and template available to accelerate the accuracy and timeliness of his work. Rob is focused on the job at hand but if you have a question he is more than willing to stop if necessary. He charges by the hour which some people don’t like but based on my friend’s recommendation and verified by my observation, this is actually a very fair and cost-effective way to work because Rob wastes zero time. He is a disciplined Marine with high integrity. If you want high quality workmanship at a competitive price, then Rob English is your man.

Rob came out and looked at the water damage I had from water seeping into my interior wall. I knew after talking to Rob for a few minutes he was a true craftsman of his trade. Rob works by the hour and he does not mess around. I did not seek other bids . Rob did not disappoint. He was on time every day, explained what he was going to for the day and cleaned up before he left every day. You couldn't tell he had been there. He replaced exterior and interior wood, drywall, trim, caulked and painted. You couldn't tell it was even repaired. Rob is honest, trustworthy and a true craftsman of his trade. If you are in the need of excellent carpenter work Rob is the man. I will definitely use Rob again in the near future and I highly recommend him.

Rob did an excellent job and did not rush through the repair. He did the work over a 2 day span, working a few hours each day. He was able to match the texture better than a highly regarded painting company that did some drywall repair a few years ago for us. His charge to do the job was very reasonable, and you can tell he takes pride in his work. Rob is also easy to work with, communicates well, and cleaned up the work area when he was done. We would hire him again, and use him for other jobs as well based on his precision with this drywall repair.

I am a 71 year old widow. I have lived in my house for over 30 years. Recently there was a leak in the attic. The source was an overflowing drip pan from the air conditioner. The result was a collapse in the ceiling up stairs in the hallway and down stairs in the kitchen. I had multiple sequential repair persons who charged a lot of money and did not fix the problem. Rob is the only person who is addressing the problem. He takes the time to explain the process then produces methodically. I would give him my highest recommendation.

Rob was professional, friendly, honest, on-time, and conscientious. He made sure to communicate at every step of the project. He rebuilt part of a damaged interior wall, replaced all the damaged sheetrock, and installed a new closet door. He was meticulous about matching the texture with the existing wall and insuring that the door was hung properly. I would recommend Rob and would not hesitate to hire him again.

Rob was great to work with - he was super thorough in explaining his estimated costs and he finished smack dab on target w the costs (even tho we ran into some unexpected issues w my house and it’s construction!).
