Santos is a very hard-working and honest man. I originally gave him glowing reviews on Angie's List, because I feel like he is one of the best subs I have seen during the construction of my home, pool, and landscaping my yard the last year. When I had an issue that needed his attention, unfortunately the landscaper who hired him (He was a sub-contractor to my landscaper.) to install my flagstone pulled him off of my job and left me "high and dry" for two weeks. I then posted a negative review when I was afraid Santos would not come back to correct the problem at my house. Fortunately, he showed up this morning and has worked hard to correct the problem. I do realize he was only doing as his boss instructed him when he did not tend to my problem over the last two weeks. Would I use him again? Yes I would use him again. But I would hire him DIRECTLY and not put him in the position of being torn between two jobs. I would also recommend him if you hire him DIRECTLY. He has recently moved from California and is trying to build up his business. Since I appreciate honesty, intelligence and someone with a strong work ethic, I assured him I would try to spread the word to others who are looking for someone to do stone work or any general contracting work. He is very conscientious and wants to make sure his clients are happy. If not, he will work until they are.
