Work went smoothly.
Description of Work: It is "light up - check up" time for our furnace units. It is a matter of safety and efficiency. We have used Cypress Creek for many years because they are honest and professional. We have signed up with them on their maintenance agreement for our AC units and furnaces. It is the economical way to have regular inspections done.

Description of Work: Checked out a furnace. Turned out one of the two had an issue. Everything was first class till I got their quote to repair the furance...$800 and $4,200 for a new 3 ton furance. Got someone else to come out and they quoted me 450 to fix and 1750 out the door for a new. They called me 4 times after that. Three to do the repair, and the last to try and collect additional payment because the angie's list deal for tuneup was suppose to be for only one furance and the guy checked both. The coupon did not state it was for one unit, as other vendors due state the coupon is good per unit.

Thanks also for recognizing our efforts as a company to provide First Class quality, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism in the service you received. Regarding the coupon, we're sorry for the confusion on pricing. Corrective measures have been taken. For the benefit of the other members, we would like to clarify your assertion that our pricing is unfair. With the coupon you used, you received two (2) furnace tune-ups for $49.00. The normal price is $75.50 for one tune-up and $151.00 for the service you actually received. This is a reduction of $102.00 off the regular price. If anything, this was unfair to us, however, with the confusion on pricing, lesson learned. As for the service estimate, our technician quoted several replacement and service components that were needed. The figure you mention in your comments represented more service than just a single circuit board. Furthermore, the estimate given for the furnace replacement was one of several available and the technician showed the prices to you. There were two or three more expensive models and several lesser choices made available to you. The particular furnace our technician quoted was a quality machine with a whole house filter included in the installation. This model furnace also came with a full 10 year parts and labor warranty. Our technician explained after the fact that you said you would be using a home warranty company to address these issues. He was told you agreed to discuss the service / replacement with him in the next day or so. For this reason, (and temperatures in the upper twenties), he attempted to reach you by phone, as a courtesy follow-up. We don't know who was hired to do the work, but we never try to compete with low cost contractors or home warranty companies for that matter. Just as you won't get a Prime Steak at a budget, buffet restaurant...you can't fly First Class for the price of coach.

Description of Work: We have used CypressCreek A/C since around 1985. Have had nothing but good experiences with them. We have replaced the builder quality a/c and heater when it was approximately 10 years old. We then replaced that one with a Lennox of better quality and better heating and a/c results in Nov 2011. Very very very satisfied with Dave and his crew of workers.

Description of Work: AC started blowing warm air. Got Cypress Creek AC and Heat contact info from the Angie's List magazine. They were actually the second company we called, we were way outside the service area of the first one. At any rate, I called about 4:50 pm on that Friday, and the guy I talked to, very helpful and polite, said he'd have a service technician at our house between 5pm and 6:30pm. The service tech go to our house at about 5:20pm. He immediately diagnosed the problem as a failed capacitor and happened to have a replacement part in his van. It was a little more expensive than I was wanting to pay, but being as how it's August and our AC wasn't working, all things considered, I guess that's pretty minor. The service technician (Tyler) was very, very polite and efficient. Had us cooling again in no time. This was an exceptionally positive experience. I won't hesitate to call them again.

The technician from Cypress Creek Air Conditioning was on time, polite, friendly and did an excellent job fixing my air conditioner. It wasn't running so he filled it with freon and worked on the motor. When he got done it worked like a brand new one and I've recommended this company to other people and I will use them again too.
