I cannot say enough good things about this company. We were without an air condition in July and it was a weekend. Most companies wouldn’t even answer the phone. They came out on Sunday morning and didn’t charge extra for the service call. The guy who serviced the a/c knew my history with them when he walked in the door, he was extremely nice and explained everything. Very honest people who charge reasonable prices. I highly recommend them.

Aire Serv of The Woodlands and Conroe replaced my evaporator and Condensor with a new unit. New Compressor failed after just 1 season (14 months in service) and was deemed a manufacturer's fault. Aire Serv charge me $700 (as labor) to replace the out door unit UNDER WARRANTY. A year later, the capacitor gave out and I asked them for service and was told they will try to be there within a week. I got an appointment for 5 days later in the beginning of summer. I got another vendor and thought that they were just busy at that time. Now the second compressor or the freon lines that they brazed seem to have broken with oil around my compressor and I was told their emergency service is not available and fully booked. After 4-5 interactions, I strongly believe that Aire Serv is nothing about customer service or taking care of customers. The products they recommend are definitely not top quality and the work they do is does not come with high marks either. After I had the coil replaced, I had asked about high efficiency American Standard and was told that it would not be 16 seer as the coil was Amana. So, I went with the 16 SEER amana, which has 14 SEER label on the outside, but was promised it is 16 and that it was the manufacturer's fault and I can check online... In fact the first person that interacted during the initial sale was the only helpful person I found in the whole franchise. Beware and find yourself another AC company, if you really want any kind of after sales service on the junk that they sell you.

Hi [Member Name Removed], We are sorry we were unable to meet your needs when you called for service at 7:20 PM last night. We operate on a skeleton crew after hours and on weekends to allow our service technicians to rest during these 100+ degree days. Our Advantage Plan clients receive priority service and we were fully booked with appointments. We informed you our next available appointment was Friday afternoon (08/16 with a 12:30 -2:30 PM arrival time). Our records indicate you have only called when the system breaks down. Servicing and maintaining your equipment is key to preventing failures. 07/20/2016 - We recommended replacement of the outdoor condenser and indoor evaporator coil to convert the system to R-410A refrigerant due to the refrigerant leak found in your existing evaporator coil and age/condition of the outdoor condenser. Austin discussed options and brands for replacement which were American Standard or Amana. You selected to install a [Member Information Removed] R-22 compatible Amana evaporator coil only. Less than 2 months later the existing outdoor condenser failed. You chose to move forward with the Amana brand due to it matching your existing furnace, outdoor condenser, the warranty (lifetime unit replacement warranty if the compressor fails.), and the initial investment being within your budget. 09/06/2016 - You selected to replace the failed outdoor condenser with an Amana 16 SEER to match your existing furnace and evaporator coil. 05/12/2018 - 1 year and 8 months later you had a compressor failure in the outdoor condenser. The compressor was pulling Lock Rotor Amps and would not start. This is an internal problem with the windings inside the compressor. We agree this is a premature failure and are sorry it happened, but sometimes failures happen outside of anyone's control. You had a 1 year labor warranty from us, a 10 year all parts, and lifetime unit replacement warranty if the compressor fails and you still own the home offered by Amana. The replacement condenser was covered by Amana, but the manufacturer does not pay labor, that is the responsibility of the homeowner unless you were to purchase an extended labor warranty from the manufacturer. We charged a more than fair price to replace the entire condenser under warranty. You accepted our pricing and scheduled the repair. 05/14/2018 - A [Member Information Removed] Amana 16 SEER condenser was installed under manufacturer warranty. 07/15/2019 - 9 AM - We received a call from you that your system was not operating. You stated in your review that the appointment set for you was 5 days out at the beginning of the season. We reviewed the recorded call logs and found we scheduled your appointment on 07/17/19 (8:30 AM arrival time). 2 days out, not 5. For HVAC companies July is far from the beginning of the season. Our technicians are currently operating 10-12 hours days and this was the soonest we could schedule your appointment, short of someone canceling or rescheduling. We did inform you if either instance were to occur we would call you to work you in earlier. 07/15/2019 - 1:19 PM - We received a call from you to cancel your appointment. You stated you had a co worker "that is not in the HVAC business" was willing to inspect your system and possibly repair it. We asked you to call back if you still needed our service after your co worker inspected your system. 08/15/2019 - 7:20 PM - We received a call through our answering service your system was not operating. We promptly called you back at 7:25 PM to schedule an appointment the next day (08/16 with an arrival time of 12:30 - 2:30 PM) which was our next available appointment. You informed us that you were going to make a few other calls to see if you could find someone sooner. When the [Member Information Removed] outdoor condenser was installed on 09/06/2016 We had informed you the outdoor condenser sticker label is a government mandated Energy Star" label and does not determine the efficiency of the system as a whole. The label on the outdoor condenser is the rating if the condenser was installed with non matching equipment. Austin had explained to you at the time of installation the model number of the outdoor condenser being ASX160601 is a 16 SEER 5 ton and properly matches the evaporator coil we installed for you a few months prior. We never stated the "Energy Star" label on the outdoor condenser was a misprint/ "the manufacturer's fault". You not only chose the Amana outdoor condenser brand because it would match your existing evaporator coil and furnace, but because it had a lower initial cost, and a lifetime unit replacement warranty as long as you own the home. If you had installed an American Standard condenser the system would have been mis matched and would not receive it's true SEER rating. With the extreme temperatures we have been experiencing we are doing our absolute best to accommodate all of our clients in a timely manor. This is an excellent family run company! I’ve used them twice and both times I got excellent honest service and a quick response, which really matters when your AC fails in August and you have a newborn child and recovering wife at home. Excellent service and communication. Was given advance notice of timing on installation day. Owner and two technicians arrived and were very professional. Reviewed details of job and prepared areas to protect doors, flooring and carpets. All three were pleasant to talk to and answered my questions while I watched the installation. When completed, clean up and verification of system was thorough. I felt very confident that they had done a complete quality job. New system has same tonnage as old, but is much quieter and we've noticed lower electric bills from last year. It has been three months since installation, and my wife still comments that she can feel a chill in the air that we never had before. Top rate service and product.

The Aire Serv repairmen (2 came) told us the fan blade had broken into pieces and caused the motor to burn up. Another company who came to give us a 2nd opinion showed us that was a complete lie. Nothing was wrong with our fan blade. Aire Serve quote for the repair was $1,600, saying we needed new motor and fan blade. Other company who repaired our AC only charged $722 for a new/original motor. Aire Serve said they ordered part and it would be in Wed. 7/5 and they would call that day to schedule repair. No one called until Thursday 7/6 by then other company had already completed all repairs. When owner called on 7/6 to schedule repair and I complained, she acted so distraught. She said she called me on 7/6 but my phone has no record of her call, so she didn't call me. She said she would talk with the repairman and her husband about what took place with the wrong diagnosis. We never heard back from anyone. Do not trust this company, highly advise you get a 2nd opinion.

We did not report to you that your fan blade needed replacing but rather the blower wheel and fan motor. The blower wheel is separating from the center hub and it WILL be your next failure. Our company is not a bandaid type company so when we examine a system we look for all worn, burnt and pitted parts so that we can let the homeowner know. It is their choice if they would like to fix on fail or have us replace them prior to them breaking to keep from having to be uncomfortable. Our technician showed us the picture he took of your blower wheel and my husband (who has over 35 years in this industry) agrees and stands by our technician's diagnosis of your unit. Our price to repair your unit was not the $1600 as you stated, but rather $998.73. I did personally contact you twice during the day on the 5th and my call log shows this. If I seemed upset when we spoke on the 6th, it was because I am not accustomed to being attacked and called a liar. Our company lives and works by a code of values and a code of ethics and we address our customers with honesty and with purpose, We treat others as they would want to be treated. You did not request me to contact you back and it seemed as though you had already made your mind up how you felt about us. We will continue to hold our heads high and serve our customers with honesty and integrity never forgetting that our whole goal is to operate in a responsible manner above the line.

Clayton was the assigned for this job and he was very responsive. Showed up on the scheduled time and gave a written estimate before leaving. Our evaporator coil had been leaking and he recommended that we replace both the condenser and the evaporator as the system was old. The quote was a little more than we expected, but considering the change in scope of work, we told him that we will get back to him, although it might be a while. He was very understanding and mentioned that prices change slightly every few months. When it was time to get the work done, we called him back and the change in price was minimal (about $150) and he was able to get us scheduled quickly. There were some issues with the sealing of the evaporator after it was installed and he got someone to look at it fairly quickly. Highly recommend the company. They were responsive and did good quality work. Thank you!

This is a first class company that really understands customer service, treated me with the utmost respect. Austin is the best A/C guy I have ever dealt with, he is honest and trustworthy. I called Aire Serv around 7:00 p.m. for a 4-year old HVAC unit that was running, but only blowing room temperature air. They called back within the hour and scheduled for a technician to come out the next day between 10:00 and noon, but pointed out that the technician may be ahead or behind schedule depending on jobs earlier in the day. It turned out the technician was running two hours behind the scheduled time, but the company had called beforehand to ensure that was ok, which it was. The technician was pleasant to deal with, and quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad run capacitor on the outdoor unit. He explained that was a common problem, quoted a fixed price, then proceeded to replace the capacitor and check the freon levels. He spoke highly of the company, and came across as straightforward and honest. From doing a quick Google check on the price paid, it was reasonable.

Aire Serv nailed customer service again!! Tech was friendly quick and competent. My emergency float shut-off switch, which automatically shuts off the A/C unit in case the drip pan fills up and is about to overflow is working! It did its job and shut down the AC. He cleaned out the P-trap at the hub and on both drains and instructed me on how to prevent it from clogging again. Thanks guys! We all so appreciate the prompt service! As stated in a previous review: you are my go to AC people!

Technician was polite and appeared very competent. He added coolant to the system, changed the filter, and performed preventive maintenance checks to the system. He also installed an emergency float shut-off switch, which will automatically shut off the A/C unit in the event the drip pan clogs up and is about to overflow. This will prevent flooding of my house should the drain pipe clog up.

We have had trouble with our bedroom being warmer than the rest of the house due to an improperly placed wall thermostat when the house was built. I thought the thermostat needed to be moved closer to the bedroom, but the technician pointed out that this might make other areas warmer as a result. He suggested a mobile wireless thermostat that could be used in the bedroom in the evening and then moved to another part of the house during the day. It worked! We are much more comfortable in the evening in the bedroom. They were very prompt; came the next day after I called to make the initial service call, and scheduled the installation the following week. Very courteous as well. We will use them again.

My 16 year old A/C until (upstairs) had frozen up and was blowing very very very slow and was said to be under my 12 month home warranty (Choice Warranty). After calling the warranty company I was told a verified A/C and Heating company who they work with would be in contact. The company (Turn Key A/C) showed up and told me I had a leaking coil and the cost to replace would be $1,650 or I could replace the system for about $3,700. The tech didn't seem very detail oriented and didn't seem super knowledgeable. I was then informed by Choice Warranty that neither option was covered because a leaking coil was considered a "pre existing condition". Needless to say I was frustrated and I wanted to shop around for a new A/C and maybe a second opinion. In comes Aire Serv. I was referred by a neighbor. I came to them ready to buy a new A/C because my it seem like the better long term option since my system was 16 years old. From my first contact with Aire Serv I was greeted by wonderful customer service. The woman I spoke with (owner's wife), got me set me up with Austin (her son) to have him come out and look at my house to recommend my options with a new system. Austin was very courteous and prompt, called when he was on his way. After looking over my house and system, he recommended a technician take a look at my system to see if they came up with the same problem as the other company. He offered to credit me the cost of the checkup if they found the same problem and we continued forward with buying a new unit. Their tech showed up the next day on time and was very friendly, a bit of a salty veteran but he clearly knew what he was doing. I didn't tell him what the other company told me, I simply told him that my system had frozen up and was blowing very very very slow. He took a look at both my up & down stairs systems and was very thorough. He showed me my problem, a broken capacitor ($119 part!!!) He switched it out and bingo it was working. He continued with his inspection and made sure both my systems, upstairs and down, inside and outside units were in full working order. He was very friendly and knowledge about my systems and even gave me a little advice about a plant that I didn't know was poisonous to dogs (sego palm). When all was said and done, my system was cooling and is still cooling and it cost me 6x less than the other guy. Aire Serv was in line to sell me a system and make thousands off me, instead they diagnosed the correct problem and by bill was $277 for the tune up and part! This is a family owned company and they were great. Austin called the tech during the service call to see if the problem was found, he was just checking-in because he was worried that I was given bad information by the pervious company. You don't find these kind of people very often, everyone seems to be out for a buck these days. Needless to say, when the day comes that I do replace my systems, Aire Serv of The Woodlands and Greater Conroe will be the guys to do it. Give them a call and you will be glad you did!

Aire Serv are now my go to guys for a/c. They are very responsive and professional. Installed a new 3 ton a/c outside and a new coil in the attic. Price was very fair. I used aire Serv for emergency A/C replacement last summer so called them first when my 17 year old furnace wasn't working on the coldest day of the year so far. They told me they were fully booked but since I was a repeat customer the scheduler reviewed my case with the owner who fit me in same day. Elwood and assistant came to my house same day a few hours after an emergency call and completed assessment. Unfortunately the part ( control board) was not a stock truck item so they needed to go to the warehouse but it was about to close for the day. They came first thing next day (9am) with part and installed in 30 minutes. Fantastic customer service. Fantastic technicians. Quality work. Will definitely call them first when something else goes wrong with HVAC equipment.

I called and they out within 24 hours. The gentlemen wore boots inside the home to ensure cleanliness. I would definatley use this company in the future, and would recommend them to others.
Description of Work: They came and installed a valve on my water heater which is in the attic to prevent overflows, and recharged my Freon and inspected my A/C unit.

They didn't pressure us to make expensive changes, which was nice. I appreciate that they didn't try to upsell us. They sent us an email after the inspection with a survey. They also resent the email in a prompt manner with the suggestions that they gave us. The only suggestion I would give was that they came outside the timeframe of the appointment, and they didn't call us to let us know that they were late; I had to call the office when he hadn't come at the end of the appointment window to make sure they were still coming.
Description of Work: They inspected our system and made some suggestions to make the HVAC more efficient. The fee also included another visit in the spring for another inspection to make sure everything is fine before turning the system on.

They've always been great. Their customer service is top notch. They're very responsive. They also don't try to wrangle every penny out of you. They've helped us over the phone and even stopped by one time and never charged us.
Description of Work: They've done lots of work with us. They do bi-annual checkups in the spring and fall, general troubleshooting, and service calls. We have had annual contracts with them since we started using them, 3 years ago.
