Description of Work: I was needing a part that was not available at the supply house i use. While there I ran into one of Rogers sons, he let me have what i needed and I was soon back in operation. I knew Rodger when he graduated from HVAC school ( before the twins were born) and refer him often. He was reliable then and has not changed.

Description of Work: They do alot of work for me. I was in general contracting for a couple years and they did all the homes for me. The last visit was to replace 3 thermostats

+ -1 morePrior to that trip, we woke up to a cold house one morning when the roads had been covered with ice. I called at 8 a.m. and got Roger. Like most businesses that day, I'm sure he was not planning on getting out on the treacherous roads, and I truly hated to call him; but, my elderly mother lives with us and heat was essential. Without hesitation, Roger said he'd get things together and come. He's about 25 miles away and it took him two hours to traverse the roads covered in solid ice. Within seconds, he and Phillip diagnosed the problem (frozen drain line) and it was resolved quickly. It would be hard to overstate my gratitude for such a wonderful family business that is truly customer oriented. I know they had at least three more stops to make that icy morning when the rest of us stayed in warm homes enjoying the benefits of their service. I'm pretty sure that the company the home warranty folks sent would have told me they'd be out when the roads cleared. The McDaniels always show up with a smile and pleasant demeanor that is icing on the cake. You'd have to look long and hard to find a better company, or better people.
Description of Work: The last call was just to make an adjustment on the system they installed for us about one year ago. We were new to the area and knew that the heating and cooling in the home we purchased would need to be replaced in the near future, but when it quit in the dead of winter we needed to act quickly. The home warranty folks sent a company from the DFW metroplex who was going to charge an exorbitant price for the system. The tech said the heat exchanger was shot, but he never inspected the heat exchanger. He was pushing to replace the whole system and I pushed back. Roger McDaniel was recommended to me by a friend here, and he came out to inspect the system. He actually checked to see if the heat exchanger was leaking and found it was not. However, he did observe other conditions the first tech missed and said the system needed to be replaced. In the process, I learned how to keep the system limping along while we worked out the details and he ordered the system. This is a family owned business. Roger and his sons took care of the installation with a couple of helpers. They did an excellent job with the installation giving me a lot attic space that had been lost to the previous system. We couldn't have asked for more. Given the computerization of everything, there has been an intermittent but recurrent error code. Phillip has been out several times, and on the last trip I think they finally isolated and resolved the problem.
