Rodney was very professional and communicated the process at every step. He had to come out over several days to work through the process and was always there when he said he would be. Very pleased with the whole process and finished product.

I bought a house that had a pool, not really knowing what I was getting into. In addition, I moved into the house in December, so I have no fond experiences of lazing by the pool or having raucous pool parties well into the night. Instead I am up to my neck with problems. Through all of this, Rodney Meyer of Meyer's Pool Care Service has been there helping me through every bit of it. When I bought the house, my pool inspection was done by a very good house inspector. The inspector found things wrong with the pool that the sellers subsequently corrected. However, the house inspector wasn't a licensed pool expert. (Did I say I'd never had a pool before?) So one of the first problems I encountered was that my filters were no good, something a bonafide pool inspector would have found out quickly. Replacing the filters cost $200. Rodney Meyer understood my plight and installed them immediately but allowed me to pay for them at the end of the month. Meyer had been recommended to me by a highly-rated Angie's List company that builds pools and spas. The owner of the business spoke so highly of him that I cancelled another pool service company I had previously scheduled. The first company I contacted (I found this highly-rated company on Angie's List, too.) was going to charge me $75 for pool school and told me I'd have to take notes because he didn't have any handouts to provide. Meyer brought information on caring for the pool and once I decided to go with his company, waived the $75. His monthly charge was over $50 less than the first company. I started using the service in December, and while I still have problems to work out with the pool, I am confident I'll find resolutions. (Did I mention I was a green horn and didn't realize I should have asked for a pool rider on the home protection plan?) Meyer is very responsive. When I call him with a question or with something unusual I've seen, he gets back to me quickly. He treats my pool as if it is his own. I don't know if I'll ever have the glee I had at first blush when I saw my pool, but at least it will be cared for properly. I highly recommend Meyer's Pool Care Service.
