Hahn Painting Service did an amazing job painting the interior of my home. They painted walls, ceilings, trim, and cabinetry…including transforming my stained kitchen cabinets into beautiful white painted cabinets. They repaired walls, tore off wallpaper, textured, and painted. Their work was neat and precise, and they left my home clean and tidy. Jim, the owner, is super easy to work with, and his quote was fair and reasonable. I plan to use this company again for another project, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to hire a great painting company.

AMAZING JOB! AMAZING PRICE! HARD WORKING CREW! I purchased a new house in Keller and needed the whole house painted. Jim and his crew were able to paint the whole house in just 3 days (the time i had before i had to move into the house. His crew were great guys and very helpful. The price was unbeatable and Jim was able to fit my into his schedule when i needed it. 100% will use them for any and all painting needs.

Jim was a dream to work with. Great communicator, detail oriented and his quote outlined the entire scope of work accurately the first time. I even changed what I wanted after quoted and he updated the quote with no fuss. Cost was not the cheapest but not the most either. Give me his experience, personable touch and quality work over the bottom feeders any day. The stain work turned out beautiful and I would highly recommend!

After careful thought and consideration, I have decided to share my personal business experience with: Jim Hahn, owner Hahn Painting 6202 Connie Ln Colleyville, TX I regret to post this, but as a consumer I appreciate honest reviews which aid me in making good choices for my family. Here are the facts about a very poor choice I made in dealing with a man named Jim Hahn, owner of Hahn Painting. I contacted many paint companies in our area to request bids to repair wall cracks, redo texture in three rooms and paint three rooms. It took weeks to coordinate schedules to receive four bids. Mr. Hahn, owner of Hahn Painting spent more than 45 minutes in our home. We thoroughly reviewed the scope and details of the project. He spent a great deal of time convincing me of his many years of experience (30+? I recall) and of the many jobs he performed in our area. He also bragged about being a Christian and even grabbed my hand and prayed with me before he left (you can’t make this up!). Mr. Hahn called me and offered a bid. He followed up by phone a few days later and I accepted his bid. I received the detailed agreement via email. Promised start dates were changed twice. To prepare, my wife and I: Moved furniture Moved decorations, pictures, electronics, etc. Moved kitchen items. Moved refrigerator items to outside fridge. This took hours. On the morning Mr. Hahn was to (finally) start the job, he brought his employee and informed me that they were going to do a “job walk-through” before commencing. I joined them. His employee was whispering to him so that I could not hear what was being said. Toward the end of their “walk-through,” Mr. Hahn appeared to lose his temper and yelled “I’m not doing this job!” This he yelled twice. Obviously, I had no idea what was happening. When I asked him if something was wrong, without any explanation, he said he needed to talk to his employee outside. My wife asked what was wrong. I had no clue. After 10+ long minutes, Mr. Hahn walked into my house and yelled loudly for me (without the consideration of knocking or ringing the bell.) He told me he would not do the job. I was in disbelief. I reminded him about our agreement that he sent me - and that he agreed just 36 hours earlier to provide a written document for us to sign. In other words, we had a firm agreement. I reminded him about the weeks we have waited, the bid process and the hours to prepare our house. He didn’t flinch or apologize. He just said he underbid the job (my guess is that he is not experienced at all - it was so obvious that his employee had to describe the scope of work. OR, did the two men think up this whole thing because they have a more lucrative project than mine? That’s all I could think of....). He said he would do the job for $2,000 more! That’s a 70% INCREASE over the original contract!! 70%. That is also 40% HIGHER than the highest bid I received! Commentary: What happened to the small business practice that “your word is your bond?” I’ve owned many homes, rental homes and I’ve flipped houses. And, I’ve never experienced anything like this before. I’ve underbid jobs as a self-employed small business owner and suffered the loss. I’ve refunded customers when the fault was not mine out of goodwill. These are some of the costs of doing business IF you are operating your business in the best interests of your clients/customers. Jim is honest, friendly, and his services are reasonably priced. I have recommended Jim to friends and will hire him again for future projects. We paid about $1,000 to have our living room with ceiling (about 19 ft high) and crown molding painted and it looks beautiful. Prior to that, his team textured all three of our bathrooms which was around $900.

Perfect! Over 3 days, Jim and his team worked tirelessly all day to paint perfect trim, clean straight lines on the walls, and to scrape popcorn off to create beautiful ceilings. We are thrilled with the work and with the trustworthiness of the team.

The crew at Hahn painting rescued us after a botched job by another painting service provider (Randall's Rainbow = DO NOT USE). The previous company had started a three room job that had a tight timeline as we had family coming to stay with us. They did not use professional painters (crew admitted to us that they did general maintenance and that painting was not their primary job after we saw the poor quality of their initial work). In a panic, we started calling other companies but none of them could get us a crew to complete the job in time. I spoke with Jim Hahn (owner) and even though his crew was booked, he heard the panic in my voice and came over to see the job for himself. After reviewing the shoddy work that had been done he assured us that they could take on the job even if it meant his crew had to come on the weekend and work late. As promised, the Hahn painting crew arrived in professional gear, with professional tools and worked diligently until the job was done. Chris even stopped by to check on the progess and we couldn't have been more pleased with the work and for getting our job done in time for our visitor's. Thanks to the Hahn Painting team!

Jim gave an excellent quote and the finished result was awesome, however, there was one misunderstanding with one of the instructions for his workers that I had to correct myself (approx 1-1.5 hrs fixing a goof). He took full responsibility for it and we were able to move on from it (stuff happens sometimes). Were it not for this one thing I would give him 5 out of 5 stars instead of 4.5 stars, but based on the aggressive price he gave me I was very pleased with the result and would do business with him again. Great painter.

Very pleased with the work Jim Hahn and crew did for me on our house. Very responsive throughout the entire process, did a great job identifying the needed repair work and we are very please with the end result. Dealt directly with Jim the whole time, he was attentive, interested and always available.

Jim's team did a good job of repainting a masonry automotive retail building in North Richland Hills. He even came back to paint a downspout that I could not get installed in time. Very good service from a quality guy.

We have used them several times! From replacing rotted wood to painting the interior of our home, we have enjoyed working with this company! We will continue to use their services, as they do excellent work! They are very responsive and punctual! When they tell you a day and a time, they are there! I would highly recommend them!

It went really well. They painted our cabinets in our kitchen and replaced all the hardware. I was satisfied with the price – it was very competitive. They were very flexible and helpful in the good quality work that they did.

Jim Hahn, the owner, was fantastic throughout the entire process. He came quickly to give us an estimate, which was reasonable and was able to start the works quickly. Jim went above and beyond to deliver a high quality service and make our house look new. He and his crew were extremelly attentive to details and even helped me fixing some other things in the house that were not originally in their scope. I could clearly see that Jim was focused in delivering to our family a "brand new house" and that's what he did. The end result is stunning and I had several people that came visit us asking if the house was recently built, no wonder, because that's what it looks like. I have no doubts to recommend Hahn painting to anyone that wants a high quality paint job. I am 100% sure that Jim and his team can deliver it.

The work met my expectations. I had another person her to provide a quote on some landscaping. He observed Mr. Hahn at work and invited him to bid on a commercial job he was planning.

Jim Hahn was selected to do the exterior painting on my Parent's 53 year old home after interviews with several Angies list top rated contractors. This was a big job on a medium sized brick and wood home. The work included: repairs and replacement of damaged wood on the ceilings of the front and back porches extensive removal and replacement of old calk, around windows, doors, garage doors, and throughout all painted surfaces and around batten board trim on gables extensive sanding and scraping due to waiting too long since previous painting and accumulation over time of layers of paint extensive resetting of nail heads, application of wood priming and wood filling products Removal of old decoritve iron work power washing painting Jim and his crew were always very respectful, friendly, and available to answere questions. They worked safely to avoid accidents and cleaned up each day. They had the equipment they need on the job each day. They worked throughout a week were the temperatures were reaching 100+ degrees with very little shade available. I had planned on being available to keep watch over the job at my Parent's, but found that it was not necessary. Jim's own standards of workmanship were higher than my own and mine are pretty high. When it became obvious that the amount of prep work was more extensive than we all realized, Jim did not cut corners on anything to save time. We Added on a significant repair to the front porch ceiling in the middle of the job and he quickly gave us the additional time and cost so we were able to make that decision. We have always understood that the prep work on exterior painting was the key to a well done and long lasting finished product. Jim and his crew went above and beyond what we had expected. They knew what they were doing start to finish. I felt as if they had treated my parent's home as if it was there own and my parents with great patience and respect. We will use them again in late fall on another home that will have significant work to be done.

Excellent job done by Jim's crew. I am preparing a north Ft. Worth home for sale, however I don't live in the DFW area. I decided to use a DFW-area Angies List contractor for the exterior paint work ("known entity") as opposed to blindly picking an unknown contractor from the phone book and hoping for the best. My original intention was to paint the exterior myself. I pressure-washed the house exterior surfaces in preparation for painting. But then other house interior work consumed my time and I decided to have a contractor paint the exterior. I had 2 x Angies List contractors come by and give me an estimate. Jim won the work hands down. His crew was able to start work the next day. They showed up exactly on time and immediately began prep work (caulking, selective wood trim replacement) while Jim color-matched and purchased the exterior Sherwin Williams paint. The caulking/paint crew was very professional, no real over-spray onto any brickwork that I could find. The doors look great too. They finished the job that same day. Very professional work done, very good quality work. I would not hesitate to use Jim Hahn again.

Hahn painting is great and did a wonderful job on my house. Jim Hahn, owner , was prompt with the bid and the bid was extremely competitive with other companies. Exterior of my home was painted by a crew of two. This was the week of the bad storms and the crew did a great job on Monday to get ahead and finished on Tuesday before lunch, ahead of the storms. Jim was involved with the job and only took payment when I was satisfied with the work done. I plan on using his company to do the interior of my home. I would recommend Hahn Painting to anyone that wants a quality and competitive job done. Thanks Jim, the crew, great job.

He did an excellent job. We used three colors and Jim helped to select the colors and made suggestions. We painted the front door red which presented some problems, but he was diligent and we eventually got the right shade of red. He came back several times to check and correct little problems with the door and the overall job. He was courteous to the neighbors and everybody loved him.

Dropped by on a Sunday afternoon to give bid. Flexible in scheduling. Always easy to contact via e-mail or phone. Showed up on time with good work. Will use in the future for other projects.

The quote was priced lower than competitors. I'm a bit of a perfectionist...but I've struggled to find many mistakes. They left a small drip of paint on the outside concrete which came up easily with a little water. This team has a great attention to detail! They forgot to fix one small repair on my door and Jim is planning to come and fix it soon. Overall very pleased and will use them again.
