FIRST CHOICE ELECTRIC SERVICE CO

Do NOT do business with this shady company. I was forced to use them through my home warranty company. We never received a phone call from them. Each time I or my husband called them, we got their voice mail and left a message. We never got a call back. After calling our warranty company, we were told that First Choice told them that they called us, which never happened. First Choice then told our warranty company that they would be at our house that day between 12-2. We were home all day and they never showed up! Never called. Fast forward a few days and we were charged a $75 service fee! When I called my warranty company, they told me that First Choice claimed it was a No Show fee. Are you kidding me??? My warranty company has refunded me this money. First Choice Electric is full of liars!

Don came out right away and was very professional

They are very punctual and do excellent work. They assess the situation for you and give you your options. They let you determine which way you want to go with making a repair. They quote a price, and that is the price. They are very good about their punctuality and responsiveness. The guy that I work with is Don.

I have hired Don several times; most importantly to me is that he is responsive when I call, and a someone I feel comfortable having in the house. He has switched out several light fixtures for me and done a few other small things, like replacing a thermostat. I feel the price is a bit high, but I cannot say how he compares to others. I just feel that for the quick swith in-switch out jobs, the labor often costs more than the fixtures. I like him and continue to use him for my electrical needs. I really appreciate those who are willing to do small jobs. Lots of small jobs add up, so there is a value to taking care of a lifelong customer.

Don had done work for me in a previous house. He was my 'go-to' guy when we bought a new house and I needed some additional electrical outlets in my garage. I also wanted to replace a standard outdoor fixture with a motion detector light. Don first came out to give me an estimate. He sized everything up and told me why he couldn't tie into one place where I wanted the outlet. He also told me what kind of motion detector light to buy at Home Depot. He gave me the estimate and returned a couple of days later to do the work. Don is always prompt and professional. He installed two GFIs and another plug in the garage, removed the outdoor fixture and hung the motion detector light. He then explained how the motion detector worked and how to adjust it if the need arose. His estimate was right on the money

First Choice Electric was the company given to me by my home warranty plan. I could not have been more pleased with Don's service and professionalism. He has great knowledge of electricity and is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job down!

On Time, fast diagnosis of problem, had parts to repair and did so right away.
