+ -1 moreI asked him over the phone how much it would cost and if it would be better to replace my dryer. He asked me if I had checked my duct work, which I had not. Over the phone he told me how to check the duct work and my dryer started to heat just like normal. He is extremely knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. He does not try to sell me something I do not need. I can trust him and what he is telling me, which is worth a lot.
Description of Work: My dryer was not heating properly. I called him to get an estimate for the repair.

Description of Work: Called and spoke to someone at Dyer Appliance who recommended that I call the service person directly. She indicated that I leave a message if no one answered, and assured me that he would return my call. He did not.

+ -1 moreRandi, the woman answering the phones was very sweet and returned all of my calls. The service man was professional and gave an honest prognosis of my dishwasher. He did not overcharge me. I was very impressed by this company, as usual.
Description of Work: Dyer Appliance has service all of my household appliances for years. They are always very friendly and knowledgable on all my appliance repairs. I made the mistake of using Oliver's and was overcharged and the fridge broke two weeks later. I ended up buying a new fridge. Dyer Appliance has been around since 1945 and also offers senior citizen discounts!!

+ -1 moreRepairman arrived 45 minutes late. I described the problem and told him I had just moved cross-country. He inspected the washing machine and moved it about 2''. He ran the machine for a few minutes without laundry and declared the washer fixed. He left and I started a load of laundry. Five minutes later, the washer was jumping all over the floor and making a horrible racket. Which was the reason I needed it repaired in the first place! I called the company immediately and they were unable to send the repairman back that day. I requested a different repairman, since this one clearly did not fix the problem. The company said that was not possible. The next day, the same repairman showed up and removed shipping material that was attached behind the front panel. He also hooked up the dryer vent for me. But unfortunately used the accordion-pleated, flexible tubing that is NOT appropriate to vent dryers. He charged me $10.00 for a 2 ft. length of this material. Ridiculous!
Description of Work: Removed shipping material from washing machine.

+ -1 moreHE WAS FRIENDLY AND ON TIME. THE REPAIRMAN KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING AND TOOK CARE OF ALL OUR NEEDS. WE WILL USE THEM AGAIN, IF WE NEED REPAIRS.
Description of Work: THE PANEL ON THE STOVE QUIT WORKING, THEY REPLACED THE COMPUTER PANEL WITH A NEW ONE. TOOK THE OLD ONE OFF AND JUST SLIPPED THE NEW ONE ON.
