+ -1 moreWe tried several times to contact them between August and October. At first, we got replies saying that they couldn't do it now. We're waiting for the fabricators to contact us and we got nothing. There were repeated attempts to contact them and leave them messages. The result was there was absolutely no reply. In the past, we're happy with the work they did for us.
Description of Work: In the past, we have used DFW Gate Repair. They came out and did an assessment.

+ -1 moreThey replaced the chain on my gate. It took a little longer than I expected and the gate derailed and I called them again. They had to come out and change the circuit board and stopper. I didn't have a very good experience, and it ended up costing a lot of money. They did take longer to diagnose the issue to begin with, and they had to send a couple of different people. One of the workers and I had issues communicating. The gate was eventually fixed, and continues to work fine now.

+ -1 moreanyI called Robert on busy morning after the gate broke off one of the hinges scrapped the driveway and trapped me inside the gate. I explain that I was trapped and I didn't have anyone to call and lift the gate back so that I could escape the backyard with my truck. Luckily, he was near by AND his morning appointment had been pushed back by a couple of hours. He brought one of his guys and they sprung me from the driveway. Over the next few days, he explained that the hinges had been repaired before and that they probably just rusted thru. Robert recommended a post with thicker metal so that the gate would last more than 5 or 6 years. He had all the work done within the week. He was able to exceed our expectations and we feel that he charged us a fair price for the work he performed for us. We will definitely hire him again.
Description of Work: Rescued me within 30 minutes from being trapped inside the gate after the hinges broke. Then replaced the Post with a stronger thicker metal post, replaced the hinges and rehung the gate.

Description of Work: New gate opener. Columns were reset in concrete. Electric cord was cut accidentally but they replaced it with a solar panel at their expense so we were up and running quickly. Good team to work with.
