Services we offer
Flagstone patios, flower bed borders, stone or brick columns, stone steps, stone retaining walls, outdoor fireplaces, outdoor kitchens & bars. Fire pits, stone veneers, walkways, stepping stones. While I stand behind my work and past projects and gladly follow up with my customers, we do not offer small repairs for other companies' work.
While he was punctual and seemed friendly, he has a busy schedule and after initially getting the quote in June, he said the earliest he could do the work would be some time in August. He advised that if some clients ended up canceling, he would let me know so the work date moved up. Towards the end of July, I followed up a few times to see where we were on his schedule. He finally got back and said that the work could be done the first week of August. I asked for an additional quote for putting a small course of bricks around our front two trees; size was 4 feet in diameter for each. He came back with a whopping $400+ bring the total cost of job over $2,900. Since I had a couple of months to wait, I obtained a few more quotes from different companies also rated highly on Angie's list. Turns out that Chibli's price was a lot higher than the others. With only a year warranty, the lag time to get work done, and the progressively slow response time, I ended up canceling the job. I get the impression he is set with jobs, had his vacation, so is more lax on customer service right now.
Description of Work: Mr. Chibli showed up right on time to provide a quote to build a retaining wall.

Response from Chibli Stone Works
Customers that I actually provide a service to are always happy with our work. This job was on the schedule for over a month and to cancel a few days before we get there is not very professional. Price and time frame were agreed upon. The job had to happen on a Saturday, the stone color had to be perfect color, the levels of the walls had to be perfect. All these conditions and expectations played a factor on my pricing. If a customer is not happy with the price or time frame (knowing it up front), why not find a contractor that can accommodate your time frame and budget and move on? Instead of taking the time to write a negative review on work that wasn't performed? Thank You, Eduardo Chibli

Salesman, Mr. Chibli was very easy to talk to and professional. He showed as scheduled. I did not use him due to price. I received other estimates and ideas without having to pay for the Big Deal from Angie's List, Note to self; Do not pay for something that most contractors are willing to do for Free. I will not do that again.

I found Eduardo, Chibli Stone Works, on Angie's List and called him and three others to gather design ideas and prices for an outdoor kitchen. When I met with Eduardo, he had some solid ideas but spent a lot of time talking about his dedication to quality results. After receiving all the price quotes, I found the Chibli quote to be very competitive. He wasn't the cheapest, but also far from the most expensive. After giving him the verbal commitment, he gave me a timeline for the start of the project that was met and then finished the project in exactly the amount of time he stated. In fact, I even threw in an unexpected delay and he didn't miss a beat. The other thing that impressed me was the fact his workers carefully cleaned up at the end of each day. The final result was outstanding. The kitchen looks amazing and all my neighbors want to know who did the work and I'm glad to give them Eduardo's name and number. I would HIGHLY recommend Chibli Stone Works to anyone.

Eduardo was easy to work with. He made some special accommodations for my son who uses a wheelchair so that the patio is accessible for him as well. The work took 3 days and Eduardo was helpful in resolving questions and a few small issues. The flagstone is beautiful and we could not be more happy with our back yard. I just feel bad that it took me so long to post a review.

Eduardo Chibli came out twice for estimates, as I refined my concept to get the most important features at the best price point. He was very nice to work with from the very beginning. He helped me consider options with a low pressure approach. His estimates were complete, and there were no hidden costs or fees. The final estimate and negotiated price was the final price I paid for the work. My project was worked in his schedule within 3-weeks of our agreement. I was told at the start of the project what to expect at various construction phases. All work was completed on schedule, and the clean-up was excellent. There was an appropriate level of clean-up at the end of each day of work with final clean-up on the last day. No concerns or issues arose during the project. The final product was even better than I could have imagined. I would not hesitate recommending or using Chibli Stone Works on another project.
Description of Work: A 600 square foot deck extension with pavers and natural stone was constructed. A complex split level concept was developed. A Fire pit feature was also added.

I don't like writing bad reviews as I know how hard it is to build and keep a good reputation. However, it is only fair to other users to report both the good and the bad so they can make informed decision when hiring a company. I contacted Mr. Chibli in November of last year to discuss some upcoming brick paver work as we were installing a new pool. He was prompt and professional. After reviewing our project he said to call him when we were closer to getting the work started and had nailed down our requirements a bit more, as we were not sure if we wanted a paver pool deck as well as updating our existing paver patio. Fair enough. We later clarified our requirements to be updating the existing paver patio with ~175-200 Sft of new pavers. Not a huge job, but still a project that could be worked in around other larger project. So I called him and he came out again in March to review our updated project. He looked it over and said he would get us a quote. After hearing nothing for 2 weeks I called him again, and he stated it had slipped his mind, but he would get us a quote in the next couple of days. Another week and a half went by without any contact so I called him again. He said he would have the quote to us the next day. I never heard from Mr. Chibli again and never received a quote. I don't know why Mr. Chibli did not follow up with us. He started out being professional and prompt, and was nice enough on the phone when we spoke, but for us, all we ended up seeing was a lack of communication and lack of professionalism. If Mr. Chibli was not interested in doing the work (too small? too complex? too busy?), a simple explanation would have been sufficient and we could have moved on to another company (which we have now done), and we would not have wasted ~4 weeks waiting on a vendor who had a good review on Angies' list. It is always best to be up front with your customers and communicate what is going on - good or bad. I hope others have better luck with Chibli Stoneworks, , but our experience was not demonstrative of the qualities needed to warrant an "A" rating on Angies list.
Description of Work: Our project consisted of extending an existing brick paver patio with ~175-200 Sft of new pavers. The paver we had used had been discontinued and was no longer available, so some creative design would be needed to blend in a different paver, such as a Holland brick (something people selecting a paver patio should be aware of when selecting their patio paver). Not a huge job, but still a project that could be worked in around other larger projects.

I am sorry that this one went this way. My intentions were to go back for the third time and get a handle on being confortable with my estimate. Between making sure the jobs at hand are going well, appointments, estimates, and trying to still have some sort of family life, time got away from me and I took too long to get back with this member. My mistake was not letting this member know that at this time I have too much on my plate and for that I apologize. I hope he found the right contractor to do his project and gets it done the way he wanted it.
Excellent workmanship, quick and prompt attention.
Description of Work: Removed an old 70 ft. RR tie retaining wall and replaced with a stone wall on concrete footer. Excellent stone color matching to compliment the brick color of the house.
I had several bids for a new retaining wall and although Eduardo was not the cheapest bid, he definitely had more knowledge and suggestions about how to fix my problem. I wanted to use him so I asked for the Angie's List discount which brought his bid closer to the other competitors and I decided to try him out. His crew arrived on time and hit the ground running. They were fantastic! They had my retaining wall built in probably 4 hours and even spread some of the dirt from the job on a low spot in my backyard. Eduardo came back the next day to see if I was pleased and he sent his crew back to address one more small issue. I would definitely use them again!
Description of Work: I had a retaining wall built with concrete stepping stones. It was approximately 47' long and 2-3 stones high. They dug into the ground to lay the first stone below the ground level. They also provided two concrete pads under my gate.

Mr. Chibli was very easy to work with. He discussed what we were interested in having done when he came to scope the project and he provided great suggestions on how best to renovate the edging and stone work. His crew came in and completed the work quickly and cleaned up afterwards to where it was difficult to tell they had ever been there. Their finished product looks tremendous and I would most certainly use Chibli Stone Works again in the future.

N/A. Mr. Eduardo Chibli provided an in person consultation pretty quickly with good suggestions on backyard improvements. However, we have yet to receive any return calls from at least 5 voicemails and texts sent, let alone the design we paid for. Granted, the amount we paid was not huge but we would at a minimum like our calls returned. Still waiting for what we paid for!

I met with this member for at least an hour and went over his ideas and gave him my suggestions. His back yard needs a lot of work and I thought that the ideas and suggestions I gave him were good for a plan of attack. He mentioned to me that a lot of those ideas he could handle himself and save some money and when he was ready he would call and we would meet again to get my quotes after certain things were done. We pride ourselves with customer satisfaction and as you can see if you scroll down, we have all "A" reviews from members we provide a service for. I'm confused on where the lines of comunication were broken and I'm sorry this happend. Since the time I met with him (2 1/2 weeks ago), I have never received a voice mail, email, or text? So I don't know if he was calling the correct number or what happened?

Mr. Chibli came out and spent about 30 minutes putting together a clear and concise estimate (in other words, I understood what he was saying) He gave me recommendations on the materials needed and then emailed me a list of those materials and cost for labor. I contacted Mr. Chibli to let him know I wanted to move forward with the project and a date was set for 5 days later. The crew, including Mr. Chibli showed up on time, went over last minute details with me and went to work. The work was completed and the crew left. Two days later Mr. Chibli came by to check the work and make sure I was completely satisfied. I paid him his adjusted estimate, which was about $100 lower than his original estimate. The work was professional and as solid as I could have hoped for. It was a surprise and delight to find a contractor I could trust.
Description of Work: Chibli Stoneworks put in a 65 ft retaining wall with nine 10 ft post slotted every 8 ft within the wall. The wall was approximately 16 inches tall and mortored together within a six inch trench. The entire job took about 8 hours including cleanup, which was exceptional.

The overall project length, in days, was quicker than I had expected. Though the weather was not inviting (very cold, excessive rain), the work progressed at an excellent pace. The stonework was completed sooner than I expected and the installation of the arbor was only a couple of days. If I had a second home or a larger yard I would hire both companies again, Chibli Stone and Prodeck Texas.
Description of Work: I used a "combined contractor" work - Chibli Stone and Prodeck Texas to create a large outdoor living area of flagstone, Oklahoma stone and a cedar arbor. The approx dimensions of the stonework was 20'x20' and overlayed flagstone on top of existing covered patio of approx 10'x10' The arbor is approx 20'x'12'. The ground work was started on a very cold morning, about 26 degrees, but the contractors came out framed it, analyzed where the sprinkler heads were and detailed their plan. Myself and one of the contractor team owners (Bill) looked at the digging later that same day and I realized I wanted it larger in dimension and they were accomodating to make the additional space (digging and framework) the same day. The contractors are polite, professional and did their respective jobs as expected and hoped. One cannot expect more than that and they performed to the customer satisfaction.
Eduardo and his team were VERY professional from start to finish. This was a big project for us and we had several different companies doing work outside at the same time. They made this all very stress free for us. Eduardo met with us for about an hour for an initial outside consultation, reviewed our goals, provide insight and ideas. He then came back a few days later with someone from his team to take measurements, examine the slope level in our front yard and how we could decrease that. He then met with us for an hour to review pricing (very detailed) and plans. We then selected Eduardo and team to do the job. They were on time each day and work extremely hard from morning to night (even Saturday). Eduardo also coordinated with the drainage company as we were also installing a drainage system and new irrigation system at the same time. The quality of the work is excellent. I highly recommend Eduardo and his team for your hardscaping project. Dean and Nicole Rucinski
Description of Work: Excavate soil in entire front yard (property was on a steep incline) Built a 5 ft hight retaining wall built out of limestone in the front yard Built two, 2 ft high retaining side walls in the front yard built out of limestone Removed existing front concrete walkway and railing Built brand new, wider front walk way out of flagstone and limestone Extended back patio, replaced concede patio with flagstone Coordinated and worked with drainage and irrigation company as they were doing work at the same time

Eduardo's crew was punctional. They did a good job of managing the mess and cleaning up after the job. We did have an issue with a portion of the work and Eduardo insisted that he correct it. He told us that he does not want his customers to have to "settle" for anything less than what was planned and agreed upon. He quickly corrected the issue, He came in on-time and under budget. We would use Chibli again.
Description of Work: Eduardo installed stone borders outlining the flowerbeds in front of our home. Additionally, we are on a corner lot, which was begging for something to accent the corner, so Eduardo built a three-tiered stonework flowerbed just inside the junction of the sidewalks. All of the stonework is mortared and sits on a base of concrete and rebar. Drain weep holes were installed to prevent water damming. Eduardo also extended a buried gutter drain pipe and moved sprinkler heads were needed.
