Great. Mr. Chibli was the only contractor that came out and gave us a quote that was actually interested in listening to what we wanted to have done and explain things in detail. He was extremely professional and friendly and lived up to expectation. His people did quality work and it turned out really nice. In fact, we requested an additional quote from him to do stone on the fireplace in the front room as well.

I thought they did a great job on the stone work but not communciation.

They did a phenomenal job and did it all in one day. They started the work at 8 in the morning and completed by 8 at night. I am very pleased with their work. They did a perfect job. The quality of their work and their attention to detail was something that I truly enjoyed.

The estimate was around $7,000. I liked them, but I liked the other company better and they were closer to us and could get it done quicker. They came out within a couple of days and gave us the estimate.

Initial Contact: I let Eduardo Chibli (the owner of Chibli Stone Works) know up front that I was getting several bids on the project; he did not have a problem with that so we set up a time for him to review the project with me at my home. Out of the people who came out to bid the project he was the most detailed in his answers and seemed to have the best grasp of what needed to happen. I felt comfortable that he had the experience to do a first-class, professional job. Bidding: Although Eduardo left me with the best impression at the site visit, I think he could improve in the bidding process that follows. I would like to see more job specification details and contract terms with the initial bid. I saw this from the other companies whereas Eduardo's came in the body of an email, very simply stated. This may be a positive for some of you. Since I deal in commercial real estate where everything has a contract, I like as much detail as possible in the quote and I like a formal contract. To his credit, Eduardo was willing to work with me to get the job specifications and a contract that I was happy with. So, we set a date for the work to be done. Actual Work: Although there were a couple of items that would have been nice to know upfront they were not part of the job (facing the lip of the patio with stone, and sealing the stone), I felt at the end of the job like I did in the beginning: Chibli Stone Works delivers a first-rate, professional looking product on the flagstone patios and we would hire them again for our stone work needs. We were pleased that Eduardo's on-site foreman was very capable and kept the work progressing on schedule. Eduardo also came out to the site, typically in the beginning of the day to get the job started. There was one hitch in the project. After I explained it to Eduardo, he promptly corrected the issue without any cajoling on my part. This was much appreciated and shows that he is a professional. Overall, I give Chibli Stone Works an A rating and would recommend Chibli Stone Works to friends. In fact, I already have.

Eduardo was always on time from the estimate to completion. Excellent craftsmanship on the stonework.

Slightly disorganized at scheduling phase. No problem when job started. Eduardo was always availabe. *****Came when scheduled, completed work quickly, well done clean-up, pleasant professional crew, ernest desire to ensure customer satisfaction, overall work excellent**** Two problems: First: Things that were clearly discussed before hand were not done correctly; decorative wooden ceiling beam that was to be removed, was left in place and bricked around, and mantle piece was put in upside down. Second: asthetic choice of the mason - stones chosen for hearth were of 2 very contrasting types; smooth and light in color next to dark and very rough. I did not like the appearance - but it had not been specifically discussed prior.

Arrived on time and were able to complete the job in one day. Workers were very efficient and cleaned up all areas of the yard and street. Workers were very polite and helpful in moving the sod and dirt to another part of the yard.

Chibli Stone Works did a fabulous job. They came out and did what was required to produce a estimate. The cost was by far the best for the work I wanted completed.

They promptly returned my phone call request for a estimate. They started working 5 days after the estimate. They completed the work within one week! I am completely satisfied with the work performed.

We found Eduardo Chibli on Angie's List. He was wonderful and did a great job on our project. We received six estimates for our backyard patio and decided to go with Eduardo because his price was reasonable and he seemed intelligent and thoughtful. He started the project within a week and finished in three days - two days ahead of schedule. The quality of the work seems top rate. We had very specific designs for this project and Eduardo was able to interpret and create our vision while adding his input at key times and making good suggestions. We will probably have more stone work done in the future and we will be calling Eduardo.

Eduardo has built retaining walls, for us, built a raised planting bed, ripped out rotting railroad ties and replaced them with stone, built a flagstone patio. He's always been prompt and courteous. We've been completely satisfied with all his work and never had a problem. I only checked his first bid against a competitor, and his was very reasonable. I haven't checked him since then, since his prices seem reasonable to me and his work is so good. I would not hesitate to use him again for stone work.
