CertaPro Painters® of Southlake

I used CertaPro Painters of Southlake to paint the outside of my home. Terry, the owner, checked out the job a gave me my bid. Terry was polite, thoughtful and professional. Terry assigned painters Eric and Carlos to complete my paint job. Eric and Carlos were polite and took pride in their painting skills. They did a clean and accurate job and my home looks new again. Thanks Terrry, Eric and Carlos!

Very, very happy with CertaPro Painters of Southlake. Easy process scheduling the estimate walk-through with Chris (Sales). Straightforward and detailed quote/contract process with Terry (Owner). Very transparent expectation-setting and scheduling with Heather (Operations). Both the interior crew (run by Luis) and the exterior crew (run by Eduardo) were on-time every day and worked at the highest rate of speed consistent with quality results. Prep work was thorough, as was the protection put in place. Every man on both crews obviously knew exactly what they were doing and appeared happy to be doing it. I've been painting things for 40 years and was surprised to learn several new things by watching them work. I felt very comfortable having all these guys in and/or around my house. Daily clean-up was solid. End-of-job clean-up (ahead of schedule) was extremely good. These guys are professional painters, not some random pick-up team. You can pay a little less and get a lot less quality from other places. I wouldn’t, if I were you. The slightly higher cost is MORE than paid for is great results and ease of doing business. Professionals. I’ll pick CPP again next time (and there WILL be a next time…).

Great experience: perfect paint match, great work, on time..

Updated review: I initially gave this company a 'C' due to a payment issue. However, the company responded and rectified the issue. Therefore I have upgraded them to a 'B'.

Aside from the high price, initially everything went well. The crew was within acceptable margins on punctuality. They were neat, clean, and addressed any concerns I had. Later the owner sent me a refund check because he had inadvertently charged me twice for the deposit. Unfortunately the refund check bounced though it was "good" for 90 days. I received no reply when I contacted the owner. I guess this company runs on a tight profit margin so if you get a refund check, cash it right away.

Terry was great at adding the additional work and completed all in about 3 days. We had used him previously for some window trim repairs and painting. He's responsive and always has great painting crews. We'd certainly use him again in the future.

Certa Pro as usual, came on time, and met all my expectations. They caulked and repainted (6) exterior door frames, that had started to suffer peeling paint. I also had them replace one section of door frame on a french door that was dry rotted. The painter was very professional, well trained, and responsive. He even performed several tasks without my request....great job. Whenever I pointed out other areas to touch up or redo he was more than responsive, and fully aimed to please me. All work done on time, and well done.

What a great experience. My neighbor and I had our homes worked on at the same time and were thrilled with not only the work done, but the amazing, professional, courteous crews. I am so thrilled with the job done and look forward to using them in the future.

They were good. They got the job done in about 4 days. They sent 2 painters out to do the job. Everything was okay and the cleanup was good.

We thought the estimate was pretty high and we went with someone else. They were very punctual to come look at the job, but it took them about 3 weeks to get the initial estimate back to us. They seemed to be professional.

We had some issues with them. They were prompt, timely, and nice. The texturing didn’t quite match the rest of what was done and they gave a refund which made us happy. The cleanup was good and they were neat and tidy.

They sent 2 painters out to do the job. They were very professional, polite, and cleaned up their work after each day. They showed up when they said they would they are very good guys to work with. The scheduling was good.

The gentleman is very kind and they have come back a few times to pitch promos to me. They were on time and have reached out to me a few times. They have been very professional. I would consider using them the future.

It was good. They sent 3-4 painters out to do the job. They did everything that we asked them to do. The cleanup was good and they cleaned up everything.

It was great. They were able to do the job with no problems. They got the job done in about 4-5 days and cleaned up well. They were always very punctual. They also had an interior decorator come in to help us choose colors which did not cost anything extra which was nice. The guy that gave us an estimate was able to put everything into a computer program and could get us an estimate that day which was timely and I appreciated. He was very professional and very easy to work with. They stayed in touch with us because the job got started a week later and kept us up to date with everything.

I've never heard from him again. I never received a quote, nor have I been contacted further by CertaPro Painters. I would not recommend bothering to get a bid from Terry Plemons and he is even the franchise OWNER!

Terry Plemons came out for estimate and worked with me on color scheme. He supervised job and always available.

Our work crew George (supervisor) and Mario were absolutely fantastic. I was surprised that the franchise owner Terry didn't contact us at all during the project (3 weeks).

This was an excellent experience overall. Justin and his assistant Will did a great job and went above and beyond on even the last details we requested. We would want them back!

Work was performed quality as agreed, on time.

Painters found and repaired defects we had not noticed. Furniture was moved, covered and replaced carefully. All services were performed with desire to please apparent. Good experience and common sense were used in scheduling. Rooms look great, and I could not find even one paint drop where it should not be.

We were given a detailed estimate. Good products were used and the work was excellent.

CertaPro (CP) repaired wood trim as needed and painted the exterior of our buildings. Each building has between four and six townhouses, with each townhouse in the building having a different color on the side facing the street. The fronts, sides and backs of the buildings, plus the detached garages are Hardy Plank , with the sides, backs and garages in white. There is wood trim around doors and windows painted white. CP was very focused on giving us the best experience possible. There were no periods of time when they were not here working unless weather prohibited it. They never left a mess or equipment at the end of the work day and took care not to drip paint around the buildings. They finished the project in about 2 1/2 months, a time that was better than we thought it would be. When we got CP's bid we were not sure whether or not they had the "critical mass" to do our project, while at the same time doing other projects. That was not a problem because they have enough crews to do our project plus others. Plus, their bid was ten;s of thousands lower than our two other bidders. We were greatly satisfied with them and highly recommend them.
