We chose All Pro Roofing to replace our roof, we met them through our salon as a client and we had started to build a friendship. We found out they had done other roofs in our neighborhood so we hired them to install our new slate roof. We paid them in full in April 2021 and they started on the roof at the beginning of June 2021. In person and in writing, we stated our concerns that we had just had the driveway re-paved with stone pavers and did not have any heavy equipment as it would not handle the weight. We were also suggested by several other roofers during consultations. As soon as the materials got there, they drove all the heavy equipment across the pavers, causing them to sink and breaking/chipping others. This was immediately brought to Brad's (the owner of All-Pro Roofing) attention. He tried claiming it was already like that. Stating, “I hope you have good before pictures.” We provided a receipt and pictures of the driveway before them starting work before they admitted to the damage, which will cost $50,000 to repair as this is a large driveway. Still, to this day, they refuse to repair/replace the damage. Construction on the roof lasted until the end of August. During this entire time, we had to continuously dog them about when they would be out and finishing. Upon "completion," we had leaks immediately evident throughout the house during the first rain storm. We informed Brad, who then took several days to get someone out to inspect and "fix the problem." He gave us some reasons that didn't make sense, so we hired a third-party inspector. The inspector came out, and he confirmed moisture throughout the home and attic areas with thermal imaging and moisture readings. He then brought to our attention that the roof did not appear installed correctly and none of the rotten deckings had been replaced even though that was part of the agreed work. He stated none of the flat roofing had been replaced. The flashing material was inappropriate for the type of roof and improperly installed. He found numerous broken tiles throughout the roof. The skylights had not been replaced as agreed. The rotten soffit and fascia had not been replaced as agreed. The gutters had not been replaced as agreed. We received about 20 pages of problems with our brand new roof. The inspector said that he would need to bring out a specialist for slate roofs. We brought out a specialist referred by our inspector. Afterward, he met with us and just stated the only way to make the roof not leak, would be to remove large sections of the roof the make the necessary repairs to the valleys and flashing. He said it would in essence be a total replacement. By the time they removed all the necessary tile, the underlayment would then have to be replaced as well so the price between the repair and replacement would be negligible. So we brought all this information to Brad. He stated that the inspector had broken the tiles when he inspected the roof. The skylights, gutters, soffit, fascia, flat roofing, ext... were not part of the quote and if we wanted them we would have to pay extra. Brad said, the roof was installed correctly and basically the inspector and specialist didn't know what they were talking about. We brought up the agreement showing where he had the above-mentioned replacements as part of the quote and after arguing multiple times, he finally came back out to make agreed repairs. We reached back out to the inspector about his claim the tiles were broken by him. Body cam footage and before and after photos were shown, showing no tiles were broken by the inspector. Since then we have had to bring back out the inspector to locate the leaks for the roofing company multiple times as they did not seem able to do so on their own. We asked them for proof of insurance and bond information (if they have one) and they flatly refused. This brings us to the present. We have not had one rainstorm where we haven't found additional leakage into our newly renovated home. Wood rot and mold have been found in multiple areas. We haven't completed getting all the renovation cost estimates back and we are already looking at $200,000+ in damage to our home. We don't have any idea what the health implications even are! This has been a nightmare from the beginning, and there seems to be no end in sight!!!! I would recommend to everyone, to stay as far from this company as possible!

I see no resolution in sight for now. I paid for the painting myself and setting up for another company to do the gutters
Description of Work: After the roof was on (the subcontracters did a good job ) I could not get a response from the owner on the painting and gutter work that was included in the job and the insurance payments but was simply not done. After several attempts to get together and resolve these issues, it became clear he was cancelling meetings and avoiding me. I finally had to contact the lawyer that was working as a liaison between the insurance company, the roofer, and myself to Try and get a resolution. Now neither will call me.
