+ -1 moreWe met Mr Dallas of Windham Construction at the Brazos Home and Garden show. We asked Windham Construction for an estimate for remodeling our outside back porch which included: pouring new cement, tiling, installing a pergola, constructing an outdoor kitchen area, and building a shed. Mr Dallas is very friendly. He took me to see some of the work they had done on a pergola. (it was falling apart but could have been owners fault) We received his estimate in a timely manner by e-mail. Mr Dallas admitted that he did not understand exactly what work we wanted done but even so the estimate was and quot;offand quot;. It was an itemized estimate and many of the prices quoted didn't make sense to us. Ultimately we went with another company. Mr Dallas was still friendly and asked us to call again in the future.
Description of Work: During our time working with Mr Dallas on an estimate, we required some handyman help: we needed new doorknobs and deadbolts installed and weather stripping. We were new to the area and didn't know anyone. Mr Dallas offered to contract out that work and sent out a very proficient gentleman. Billing was sent in a timely manner.

+ 0 moreThey gave me an estimate and began the work on schedule. They found some more fence posts that needed to be replaced and some other areas of my home that needed minor work -- they gave me a price on everything before moving ahead and the prices were consistent and fair. The quality of the work seemed very high and I was very pleased with the final results.
Description of Work: Windham Construction repaired and rebuilt and painted several parts of the decorative fence on my front property and the privacy fence in the backyard. They also caulked all my windows. They were very professional and the quality of their work was much better than that done by another company several years ago. They used good materials and the quality of the construction was very high. Their painter was also excellent -- he had to do an enormous amount of patching and he had the primer tinted to match the final coat of paint. The final job looks very, very good -- much better than the other contractor who worked on the fence repairs following Hurricaine Rita. Their prices were as good or better than others I contacted. They informed me of any work they recommended and gave me a price in advance. I was very pleased with them and would recommend them highly.
