Colby Lee is the best in the business. He may be a bit higher on costs, but that is because they are far more sophisticated in their approach than the "Hack & Whack" guys. He knows his stuff and it will show on your trees and in your yard. Why would you hire anyone else?

After a site visit, we received an estimate (the highest of three estimates) and were charged $60 for a "diagnosis," even though we did not ask for one and had shared a copy of our previous, detailed diagnosis. In response to our concerns about the diagnostic fee, we were told we could get half back if they did the work. Even after deducting a $30 "refund," the price was still about $600 higher than the company we hired. Other than that, a pleasant transaction.

Excellent work. Colby advised us on what would best serve our yard and lawn now and in the future. Clearly he knew the art and science of his craft, so we hired him to carry out his recommendations. The Top Point crew arrived on the day they said they would and completed each task on the bid to our satisfaction. They meticulously shaped my trees and removed limbs carefully--choosing just enough to let light in but not so many as to stress the trees. They removed 3 trees safely and ground out the stumps. I look forward to using them in the future.

Very quick and efficient. The crew of 2 were knowledgeable and shared various tips. I will use them in future for needed pruning. I gave a B on punctuality only because I was expecting them at 8 am and they arrived around 8:15 am. The job took 30-45 minute to set up and clean up. They had the right equipment.

Colby was very professional throughout the process of bidding and doing the work. We had several large trees that were near structures that had to be delicately brought down. Watching his climbers work was like Cirque du Soleil on my yard. They made quick work of the trees, stumps and, this is a big AND, cleaned up after themselves.

Colby is quite expert with a chain saw. His stump grinding machine is state-of-the-art and makes quick work of stump removal The marshy area of the back yard caused some difficulties and delays; but the actual cutting, grinding and hauling process went surprisingly fast. While the work was underway, I asked Colby to tear down and remove a wooden pergola, which was then included with the other work. Removing the ugly trees has greatly improved aesthetics and now allows us to see the lake beyond our property. The process of moving from Houston to College Station in the last year has required that I use the services of several companies and individuals. Overall, I am weary of the salesman who sells, followed by workers who are bored and listless. Colby, on the other hand, sells the job and then handles key parts of the work. I really appreciate his positive attitude and personal involvement.
