The day the tech went out I was called into a meeting at work and missed the call (Thursday, Nov. 9th afternoon). The meeting didn't end until after 5:00 so I called the next day (Friday the 10th) and left a voice message. No response from the tech. I called again on Monday the 13th and left a voice message. No response from the tech. On Tuesday I texted the number I had for the tech and explained that I'd been trying to reach him to find out what was wrong with the dishwasher and left another number he could call me on. No response from the tech. Tuesday I get a really nasty voicemail saying that I had declined all calls and threatening that if I didn't pay the $79 by the end of the day the dispatcher was going to turn me over to the Sherriff. Twice she threatened this. I'm not stupid enough to think that the sheriff gets involved in such trivial matters, but wow. Just wow. I paid the $79, but won't be calling this company ever again.
Description of Work: I have own rental properties in B/CS and Austin for over 20 years, and I have an "exceptional" credit rating. I arranged to have Mr. Appliance send a technician to one of my rentals to look at a dishwasher. The dispatcher informed me that there would be a $79 service fee and that it would be credited to the repair if we went forward with it. If not, we would just owe the fee. I agreed to that. The technician was to call me with the repair information while he was there and I could decide at that time if I wanted to go forward with the repair or not.
