Donnie Gallagher

Description of Work: If this is the Donnie Gallagher that is married to Kelly Gallagher, I heard you were back in town. Donnie stole $4000 from me for a fence that he never built. We took him to court, and he didn't show up for his court appearance despite being issued a summons. We received a judgement and a lien against him. He still hasn't paid us any money and we have heard about many more people getting ripped off by him. Don't touch this guy with a ten foot pole. And hey Donnie...if you read this...I still want my $4000 back.

Description of Work: We contracted Donnie to replace our deck. Pull out the old and put in a new one. He over charged us we found later by $1000. He tore out the old deck on May 30,2011. He said he'd try to have it dine by June 2, 2011. Came over a few nights after work, but didn't stay more than an hour. Promised to work one Saturday, showed up the left 20 minutes later. Promised to work every evening the week of June 13th. Couldn't dig holes with post hole digger the first night, auger broke the second night, came back Saturday promising to have 10 foot of deck completed. Five boards was it. Didn't see or hear from him for a week. Promised to be 80% complete the following weekend. Another contractor was at the house for another job and pointed out 2 errors in the little work he had done so we fired him. He had spent all the money so had no money for the deck materials. After sending him a letter demanding some money back, he came over and told us when he could repay (over several weeks). Found out later that 2 other families never got money back from him.
